New Mexico Govno bans carrying firearms in Albuquerque

Good day all. I woke up to the news that New Mexico’s Communazi Govno, Michelle Lujan Grisham had banned the carrying of firearms, openly or concealed in Albuquerque for 30 days. Her so called reasoning? It’s a public health matter.

I am not families with the firearms laws of New Mexico. I do know that the Govno, Grisham, is militantly anti-2^nd Amendment, and that Democrats have taken full control of the State. (And have begun the process of running it into the ground) Friday night, Govno Grisham outlawed the carrying of firearms in Albuquerque for 30 days. She didn’t go through the legislature, she just issued an order saying it was a “Health matter.” Here are the details from Newsmax:

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday issued an emergency public health order that suspends the open and permitted concealed carry of firearms in Albuquerque for 30 days in the midst of a spate of gun violence.

You will notice that she is going after honest people who aren’t breaking the law, not the criminals who are breaking the law. In fact, she has just announced to criminals that it is now open season on the law abiding citizens of Albuquerque.

The Democrat governor said she is expecting legal challenges but felt compelled to act in response to gun deaths, including the fatal shooting of an 11-year-old boy outside a minor league baseball stadium this week.

That this will be challenged goes without question. She has violated both the United States constitution and the state constitution.

The firearms suspension is tied to a threshold for violent crime rates that only the Albuquerque area currently meets. Police are exempt from the temporary ban on carrying firearms.

Frankly, people should flat out ignore this. As for the police, if they try and enforce this illegal and unconstitutional order, they deserve everything that will land on them including removal of their so called immunity and being held personally liable for their actions.

“I welcome the debate and fight about how to make New Mexicans safer,” she said at a news conference, flanked by leading law enforcement officials, including the district attorney for the Albuquerque area.

She isn’t making it safer, she’s making it far more dangerous. She is also having a problem with law enforcement officers. Many won’t enforce the order. As to welcoming the fight, I wonder if she has considered what may happen to her personally? If someone who normally carries is attacked by a criminal and injured or killed, she could be held liable, potentially criminally liable. She has also shown why she is unfit for office. Local law enforcement officials expressed concerns that the governor’s order violated Second Amendment rights. The governor acknowledged the ban may face legal challenges and addressed these concerns during a press conference.

After a reporter questioned whether Grisham was upholding her oath to the Constitution, she argued no Constitutional rights were fixed, including her oath.

“No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute,” she retorted. Grisham cited restrictions on free speech as an example of how rights can be curtailed in emergency situations. 

And she has just provided the grounds to the legislature to remove her from office, not that those scum and villains will do that. That remark will also kill her in court when this is challenged. It also opened the floodgates on Socialist media.

Commentators across X, formerly known as Twitter, angrily responded to the governor’s statement, with some calling for her impeachment.

“At risk of stating what should be obvious, deliberately violating the Constitution is next-level illegal. How soon can this person be removed from office?” Elon Musk asked.

Unless the Progressive Liberal Democratic Communazis in the State Legislature decide that Gresham needs to be removed, they will do nothing.

“The governor of New Mexico is using a public health order to suspend a right guaranteed by the US Constitution. Yes, a public health order,” Ron DeSantis Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern reacted. “Did you think the left was going to stop at just forcing you to wear a mask?”

Nope. The goal of the Progressive Liberal Democrats has always been absolute totalitarian control. In the mean time, we have several legal scholars commenting on the Tyrant’s orders.

“The order, in my view, is flagrantly unconstitutional under existing Second Amendment precedent,” legal scholar Jonathan Turley wrote.

“It could also be a calculated effort to evade a ruling by making the period of suspension so short that it becomes moot before any final decision is reached by a court,” the Fox News contributor added.

I’m no lawyer, but I suspect that any honest judge, which will let out all the Obama and Biden judges, will quickly issue an injunction. The blatant attack on the constitutional rights of the people of New Mexico in general and Albuquerque in particular requires that her diktat be stopped in it’s tracks.

“Yea, I doubt a federal judge is going to look kindly at this press conference where Governor Michelle Grisham (D.) openly talks about wanting to arrest licensed gun carriers and her view that her own oath of office is not absolute. This video is wild,” commented Stephen Gutowski, founder of The Reload.

Now as to the enforcing this blatantly illegal order, some are questioning it and see this as something that can go sideways very fast.

Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen said that he had concerns about the order but was prepared to cooperate to address gun violence.

“While I understand and appreciate the urgency, the temporary ban challenges the foundation of our Constitution, which I swore an oath to uphold,” Allen said. “I am wary of placing my deputies in positions that could lead to civil liability conflicts, as well as the potential risks posed by prohibiting law-abiding citizens from their constitutional right to self-defense.”

And that risk? When some deputy tries to arrest someone who is carrying and decides to defend his or her rights under the constitution, and refuses to be arrested? These people aren’t homeboy gangbangers. There is the potential that one or two officer might end up facing five or ten armed citizens who force the officer(s) to surrender instead. There is also the issue of enforcing an illegal and unconstitutional order. The police could find themselves in court with no immunity and being sued into oblivion.

Violators could face civil penalties and a fine of up to $5,000, Grisham’s Press Secretary Caroline Sweeney said.

Good luck collecting that. I’m not sure how judges are appointed in New Mexico, but it appears that they are elected. I can’t see any of them upholding any part of this and surviving a challenge when their term is up. Just trying to deal with Gresham’s announcement that her oath of office and the Constitution mean nothing is going to be an issue for many of these judges when they are up for reelection.

Licensed security guards and law enforcement are exempt from the ban. It also does not apply on private property, “(such as at a gun range or gun store), provided they transport the firearm in a locked box, use a trigger lock, or some other mechanism that renders the gun incapable of being fired,” the governor said.

I find it interesting that she dropped this little bomb on Friday. Obviously she did it to preclude anyone going to a court for an emergency stay until Monday. What I think this Stuttering Clusterfool of a Miserable Failure has failed to understand is the rage she is now unleashing against herself. She has been pushing through one anti-2^nd Amendment law after the other with the connivance of the Democrats in the legislature. However, she might have finally gone that one bridge to far.

I fully expect crime in Albuquerque to skyrocket over the next few days. Or you will see people ignoring the order and, when attacked by a criminal, drawing their gun and shooting the criminal.

I want that bitch to face a woman who was raped because she obeyed this illegal order, or someone who’s family member is in a coma or dead because he or she was obeying the order and left their gun at home.

I suspect she doesn’t and won’t care. Your average liberal progressive Democrat is interested in only one thing. Power, and Govno Gresham is trying to turn New Mexico into a People’s Republic. Now the absolute worst case scenario in all this is that Gresham learns first hand why the 2^nd Amendment was written. It was meant to give people the tools they need to deal with people like herself. Pity she’s to damn stupid to understand this. Hopefully, the order will be ended Monday if not sooner and Gresham will be removed from office by the legislature.
