Good day all. When the Republicans, (Barely), took the House or Representatives, San Fran Nan once again lost her speakership. She then announced that she was leaving all her leadership posts. With that, people assumed that she was preparing to retire from the House.
Nothing could be further from the truth. That rotting zombie embalmed with only the finest Glenfiddich, has announced that she is running for reelection. Here are the details from the New York Post:
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, 83, said Friday she will run for re-election to Congress in 2024 despite her advanced age because San Francisco needs her help cleaning up the streets.
If she wants to help clean the streets, might I suggest she stop riding a broom and start sweeping with it.
Pelosi, in Congress since 1987, vowed that “there will be arrests” of shoplifters and drug users and that homeless people will be offered housing and if they refuse “there’s the ability to take them off the street.”
The Democratic icon rebranded herself as an anti-crime crusader during a Friday afternoon interview with MSNBC host Nicole Wallace in which she tried to justify her bid for another two-year term.
Anti-crime? That’s a laugh. That political dinosaur is one of the reasons crime is out of control in so many areas of the country. (All of which happen to be under Democrat control)
“The needs that our city has right now really call for me to stay another term,” Pelosi told Wallace.
Somehow I don’t think the city asked that corrupt cow to stay on. I suspect she decided she needs another 2 years to really loot the treasury and the taxpayers.
“I have agreed to stay on another term in order to help meet the needs that we have now,” she said. “We’re a resilient city — we’ve had AIDS, we’ve had earthquakes, of course we’ve all had the pandemic. We intend to come out of this — resilient city that we are — even better.”
The only local issues that Pelosi addressed in her first interview since launching her re-election campaign earlier Friday were crime and homelessness — arguing that while the issues aren’t as bad as portrayed in the media, they still require action.
“We do have an isolated situation in downtown San Francisco, in the Tenderloin district and the rest,” Pelosi said. “We have just said to the people there and the rest, who are very much concerned about it, that if there is crime and there is violence and there are drugs, there will be arrests and that’s the way it is.”
Has anyone handed this drunken old moonbat a list of major business that have closed their doors and moved out of San Francisco? How about all the small business that have thrown in the towel and just given up? You’ve still got TwitterX, but for how long? Elon Musk is telling people to get into the office, but if they get mugged or otherwise attacked, they might tell Musk that it’s to dangerous to come in. If forced, they may quit citing threats to their safety. At that point, Musk and the board may pull out as well.
She added, “And it doesn’t matter if the person is documented or not, they will be prosecuted.”
Oh that’s a laugh. The only people who get prosecuted under Democrat controlled cities are the honest people who do something to protect themselves, like a Sikh with a stick.
“And that’s something that we brought in from the Justice Department, the Operation Overdrive to address that problem. So it’s about mental health issues that leads to homelessness, it’s about drug use that leads to homelessness, it’s about affordable housing,” Pelosi went on.
“And we are providing housing, and people have to accept it and if they don’t, then there’s the ability to take them off the street. And taking them off the street takes some drug use off the streets, some drug sales off the streets.”
And where are you going to put them? What will you response be when your pals at the ACLU sue to have these people put back on the street menacing people?
The former speaker argued Friday that proposed budget cuts by House Republicans could harm anti-crime efforts and claimed that overwhelmingly Democratic San Francisco is “of one mind” on crime.
Yes, they support it. After all, everything they do basically aids criminals in their criminal activities and prevents good and honest people from protecting themselves, their families and their property.
Conservative politicians generally blame liberal policies such as lax bail laws for causing an increase in crime following large anti-police protests in 2020.
And that’s something that San Fran Nan won’t address, other then to blame the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. Of course, the small detail that President Trump wanted to remove illegal aliens and jail criminals just sort of slipped her booze besotted mind.
Pelosi said an uptick in crimes such as shoplifting is “not confined to San Francisco” but that within the city “we have great unity and a decision to get the job done.”
“Right now we’re of one mind: it’s over,” she added. “This has to end and that’s that. And at the same time, our city is alive and vibrant and thriving.”
You will notice that she’s not actually saying what she would do. San Fran Nan is just playing “Buzzword Bingo.” All she’s doing is providing sound bites that the liberal sheep of San Francisco will here and think, “She does care!” Pelosi actually couldn’t care less about the sheep, as long as the put her back into the House.
Her decision to remain in office rather than retire follows significant controversy in Washington over the old age and failing health of longtime leaders, including 81-year-old Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who has frozen during two recent public appearances.
This old crone is actually older than the Groomer in Chief, Joe Biden, and we know that he’s unfit for office. McConnell is having brain freezes and should step down from the Minority Leader job. (He should resign, but he won’t. He’s just as corrupt as Nancy Pelosi) Pelosi, along with most of the membership of the House and Senate are why we need term limits. Sadly, the only way I can see to get that amendment to the Constitution will be an Article V Convention of the states. Well, hope springs eternal.
