Good day all. When you think of open borders, you tend to think of the border between the United States and Mexico. Since the installation of the worst president* in American history, Dementia Joe Biden, millions of criminals and terrorists have invaded the United States. However, no one has given much thought to the U.S./Canada border.
Generally, people don’t think that we would be seeing a massive increase of illegals from Canada since they’re generally a nation that isn’t a Third World failed state like Mexico. People think that Canada will be the first line to stop illegal entry into the United States since they aren’t all that interested in illegal immigration into their country. Well Houston, it seem we have a problem. New Hampshire, home of Anger Central, has seen a massive uptick in criminals crossing the border from Canada and the RINO governor has decided that we must do something since Dementia Joe won’t. Here are the details from Fox News:
Frustrated by what he argues is a lack of support by President Biden’s administration, Republican Gov. Chris Sununu of New Hampshire is taking matters into his own hands to help secure his state’s northern border with Canada.
Sununu announced on Thursday that he’ll use $1.4 million in funding from New Hampshire’s current budget to boost tenfold patrols by state and local law enforcement along the 58-mile border.
For those who might not know, this does affect Anger Central directly. We are based in New Hampshire, although not near the Canadian border. Usually when there is an illegal border crossing, it turns out to be some idiots who didn’t realize they had actually crossed the border, either U.S. to Canada or Canada to the United States. We generally don’t have that many actual illegals sneaking through the woods, until recently.
While acknowledging that the deteriorating situation along America’s northern border is overshadowed by the crisis along the southern border with Mexico, the governor emphasized that “there have been more apprehensions along our northern border in just this past year than in the last ten years combined.”
“Encounters with individuals on the terrorist watch list at the ports of entry on the northern border have doubled since 2017,” Sununu highlighted.
And he warned that “there’s national security implications to securing the northern border that are becoming more and more obvious every day.”
One good thing about all this is that we’re now entering that wonderful time of year known as winter. Unlike the southern border, up here it get damn cold and it looks like we may be getting a lot of snow. About the only way you can move around off road is with skis, snow shoes and snowmobiles, and they leave tracks. Trying to hike through the woods in winter with no preparation is a great way to be found in the spring and your carcass eaten by hungry bears coming out of hibernation.
Sununu, accompanied by state attorney general John Formella and state law enforcement leaders, said that “it is made very clear to us” by those on the front lines along the border “that we do need more targeted resources. We need to provide an all hands-on-deck approach.”
Well, hunting season is underway and illegals tramping through the woods aren’t trying to be obvious, just the opposite. Well, accidents happen. And, of course, there are the hungry bears looking to fatten up for winter hibernation.
Sununu, a vocal critic of the Biden administration, took aim at Washington.
“We asked the federal government for help. We’ve been denied,” he charged. “There’s nothing that’s come from the federal government. No additional efforts out of the federal government.”
In point of fact, the Maladministration is actively aiding and abetting in the invasion of the United State. They have managed to catch at least 150 people who are on the terrorist watch list/ How many more did they miss?
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, a former governor and the senior member of New Hampshire’s all Democratic congressional delegation, visited the border last month on a fact-finding trip.
That was a waste of time. Shaheen doesn’t care about the State or the country.
The senator pledged to address the problems at the border and to provide more funding.
Shaheen and her office also criticized Sununu.
“Time and time again, the Governor has neglected to fully utilize the money our delegation has provided New Hampshire,” Shaheen press secretary Ty McEachern told IndepthNH.org.
What money? You mean all that money that didn’t actually go to securing the borders, but is to be used to provide all sorts of benefits to the criminals, at the expense of actual American citizens? That money?
Sebastian Fuentes, political director for Rights & Democracy NH and an immigrant rights activist, reacting to the announcement, told the New Hampshire Bulletin that the focus on illegal border crossings was a “manufactured crisis” and “political stunt.”
I have a question for Sebastian Fuentes. Does your organization work with people who have lawfully come to the United States? You know, legal immigrants, or are you talking about the millions of criminals and invaders that have ignored our laws and hopscotched over the border with their hands out demanding money?
Across the entire northern border — from Maine to Washington State — there were 7,633 encounters through the end of July this fiscal year, compared to 2,238 for all of FY 2022 and 916 in all of FY 2021.
That is a small number compared to what’s happening along the southern border. One of the big differences is the terrain. It’s not flat and easy to walk over. In New Hampshire it’s quite mountainous, with the tallest mountain on the east coast here. (Mt. Washington) We also have fairly thick forests and it’s easy to get lost. There is also the issue of getting into Canada.
With the Southern Border, Mexico is pretty much handing out maps and providing directions to everyone who gets into the country, which is pretty much everyone. Getting into Canada is a bit more difficult. There are only two ways. Airplane and ship.
Coming in by ship is how a lot of these criminals do arrive. They are in shipping containers and there is no way for every container to be checked. They are loaded onto a truck, driven a few miles from the port and then the coyote pulls over opens the door and lets the “passengers” go. Or if there is a stack of bodies, he just drops the trailer and drives off. (Coming in by shipping container is not the safest way there is)
One group that is probably coming in are, to be blunt, terrorists. As mentioned earlier, the Feds have managed to catch over 150 terrorists coming across the southern border. How many have made it across the northern borders? With all that’s going on in the Middle East, a lot of people are worried that Hamas, Hezbollah and all their “friends” might decide shooting up a shopping mall with fully automatic weapons and explosives to be a really good idea.
Of course, in states like New Hampshire, where we have Constitutional Carry and Stand Your Ground, terrorists are going to have to deal with the probability of their targets shooting back. Now Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Hell any of the states controlled by the Democrats, are basically “Gun free zones, Terrorists are welcome to shoot all the people you want safe in the knowledge that no one will have the means to fight back, just like all in Israel a couple of weeks ago.
I don’t like Governor Sununu all that much. He’s a Bush/Cheney RINO. However, he is correct that something needs to be done and it’s obvious that the Democrats, like the ones in our congressional delegation, not to mention Dementia Joe Biden, have no interest in securing the borders. Hopefully, we’re all just being a little paranoid.
