Temporary cease fire between Hamas and Israel

Good day all. Currently, there is a temporary cease fire going on between Israel and Hamas. There have been negotiations to get any surviving hostages out of Gaza in return for some convicted terrorists and relief supplies sent in to Gaza.

There have been some hostages released, but none of them were American. This has been a bit of a blow to Dementia Joe’s credibility, (Yes I know, what credibility?) and he is “Hopeful” that they will be released. (As I wrote this, a 4 year old who’s parents were murdered in front of her by Hamas scum has been released. She holds duel citizenship)

There are a lot of people, primarily military, who think the cease fire was a bad idea. It takes the pressure off Hamas and allows them time to regroup. That is definitely happening of course, however I don’t know that anyone has looked at it from the Israeli side. I’m certainly no expert, however, I would be very surprised if the IDF isn’t using this pause to rest their troops, repair their equipment and bring up supplies and ammunition for the next phase.

I also would hope that the IDF is developing intelligence for the next phase of the war to obliterate Hamas and it’s supporters. This would include locating more tunnels, perhaps identifying locations where other hostages are being held, (If they are still alive), and finding the supply depots and leaders of Hamas to destroy them.

The Progressives in the Biden Maladministration and the Democrat Party are fighting among themselves over the support of Israel in their plans to finish off Hamas once and for all. There is one thing that this war has done is show just who the Democrats and Progressive support, and it’s not Israel. The antisemitism in the Democrat party and the Elite Colleges and Universities has been turning off a lot of Democrats, particularly those who are Jewish.

Many parents who’s children were looking at colleges are now reconsidering some of the choices. (As if things weren’t already bad enough with the garbage these schools have been pushing for the last 20 years) They are seeing school administrations not only NOT protecting Jewish students, but in some cases, actively aiding and abetting the terroristic tactics of the protesters. (Interesting side note. Many of the smaller community colleges and trade schools are not seeing these antisemitic assaults. Just the opposite in fact. Support for Israel appears to be greater in these schools)

In Congress, you are seeing a full breakdown among the Democrats over sending Israel supplies and aid. Almost all of the Democrats who are Jewish are all set to send things over, but you have others, such as the so called “Squad” along with Comrade Bernie Sanders in the Senate, who don’t want anything sent to Israel, but sent to Hamas instead. As to how long the current cease fire will continue? I don’t know. I’ve seen stories that say that as long as the hostages are being released, Israel will hold off. I’ve seen other stories that say just the opposite, that the IDF will reengage in the next few days. I think Hamas’s leadership is beginning to understand that they have gone to far and Israel is going to hunt them down and kill them all. Personally, I don’t think it’s just Hamas that needs to be worried about Israel’s reactions. (See Operation Bayonet)
