Good day all. Former mayor and abject failure, Lori Lightfoot, was voted out of office by the people of Chicago. However, the voters in Chicago, both living and dead, replaced her with someone just as inept and incompetent.
Now he’s blaming Lightfoot and, of course, “Right-Wing Extremists” for the problems Chicago now has with all the illegals now coming into Chicago and demanding handouts. Here are the details from Fox News:
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said he “inherited” the Windy City’s migrant crisis from his predecessor, former Mayor Lori Lightfoot, during a press conference touting construction of the city’s first government-run migrant tent encampment.
“Look, the international crisis that I inherited six months ago, I’ve made it very clear that we are going to make sure that we remove people out of police districts: women, children who are living on floors and sleeping outside, that we’re going to create spaces that provide more dignity,” Johnson said Tuesday.
First. You’re building a tent city and putting people in it who come from a tropical environment. In winter. In a city noted for extremely low wind shill factors. Well, that’s one way to solve the illegal alien problems. Let them freeze to death. Second, while I have no problem slamming Lori Lightfoot for her incompetence, please explain to me how the wave of criminals that crossed the border illegally is her fault?
At least 20,000 migrants have poured into Chicago since August 2022, when many migrants were bused from the southern border states to liberal cities farther north. Efforts have been underway to strip Chicago of its sanctuary city status as some residents sound off about the issue.
Well, isn’t that interesting? The Progressives are finally seeing what happens with their virtue signaling and they aren’t happy. Pity they didn’t elect a mayor who isn’t a communist idiot.
The city has struggled with where to house the people, relying on police stations and O’Hare International Airport. Now, Johnson said his government is working with 17 churches as part of the “Unity Initiative” to move migrants from the public spaces and into the churches for shelter, and announced the construction of the Brighton Park migrant camp, Chicago’s first government-run migrant tent encampment.
Dude! They were at O’Hare. Why didn’t you just charter some airliners and fly them back to Venezuela? It would have been a lot cheaper.
“Did you know when I was sworn in in May, the previous City council did not budget for 2023’s migrant mission,” Johnson added. “So not only have we stood up the full force of government in a collaborative way, we did it without the previous city council even providing resources for it.”
Of course they didn’t. Why would they? At the time Texas and other states weren’t shipping the illegals into Chicago. Now the Biden maladministration, on the other hand…
Johnson also slammed “right-wing extremism” for the woes in his city, arguing Republicans offer no solutions to crime and intentionally create “chaos” in Democratic-run cities.
“What we’ve seen is a very raggedy form of right-wing extremism,” Johnson said. “Everyone knows that the right-wing extremism in this country has targeted democratically-run cities, and quite frankly, they have been quite intentional about going after democratically-ran cities that are led by people of color. And their whole motivation is to create disruption and chaos.”
What an idiot. He is yet another utter and complete failure and like all progressive liberal democratic failures, promptly blames Republicans for their own failures.
“This is the same political party that did not want to accept that President Obama was actually an American. This is the same Republican right-wing extremism that stormed the Capitol. It’s the same right-wing extremism that refuses to accept the results of the Civil War. It’s raggedy, it’s disrespectful,” he said.
I’ll start with the stupidest remark and work my way sideways. (Can’t move up or down, all this idiots remarks are stupid) The Civil War. Does this boneheaded moron know which side the Republican Party was on, and which side his party, the Democrats was backing? Of course not. You are to stupid and never actually learned American history. The Union side was run by the Republicans. The Union won the war. The Republicans were quite happy with the results.
The Democrats were and are the Party of Slavery. They started the war, and they lost the war. The Democrats are the ones who refused to accept the results of the Civil War. They lost their slaves and they’ve been trying to get them back ever since. This is the party this incompetent goofball supports and is a member of. As for Obama not being a citizen? That was all Obama’s fault. He was the one who said he wasn’t born in the United States, thinking it would help him.
Mayor “Let’s Go Brandon” Johnson is exactly what the city of Chicago deserves. They voted for him instead of a marginally more competent Democrat. (I won’t even bother talking about the GOP candidate) Chicago is getting the results of their selection, good and hard and without lube. Enjoy!
