Trump Crushes it in Iowa

Good day all. Yesterday was the official beginning of the 2024 election season. (No matter what the Democrats might say) The GOP held their caucus in Iowa to select their nominee for the 2024 presidential election. Surprising no one, the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, won.

What everyone was wondering was how big the margin of victory would be for President Trump. In the days leading up to the caucus, so called “Pundits” were saying that if President Trump didn’t win at least 50% of the vote, then he would have lost and we should all vote for Nikki Haley. (Interesting that they were discounting Governor Ron DeSantis) President Trump won 51%.

What may have surprised a lot of people was the second place finisher. Governor DeSantis beat out Nikki Haley. It looks like the RINO vote that was going for Eater of Donuts, Chris Christie, didn’t go to Nikki Haley.

Many people thought that DeSantis would come in third or even fourth. Instead he has achieved a distant second. One big loser was Vivek Ramaswamy. He was running as the younger version of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. However, there were a few things about Vivak that made many of the Republican Base cringe a bit. Last night, Vivek Ramaswamy ended his campaign.

Normally the Iowa caucus handles both the Democrats and the Republicans. However, the DNC has been telling the first in the nation caucus and Primary, Iowa and New Hampshire, that they will no longer be the first in the nation. The Democrats in Iowa basically went, “Ummm, ok.” In New Hampshire, it is a state law that New Hampshire will be the first in the nation primary.

The DNC decided to put New Hampshire in what they consider to be it’s place and sent out a letter saying that any votes won’t be considered by the DNC at the convention. That went over like a lead balloon and the New Hampshire Attorney General has issued a cease and desist order accusing the DNC file voter suppression.

The New Hampshire Primary is next week and of course I will be voting in it. While I’m registered as an independent, I can pull a ballot for the Republican primary. I’m not going to announce my choice, since I believe in the sanctity of the secret, paper ballot. (We use paper ballots where I vote)

The media is now saying that President Trump won’t do very well in New Hampshire and that with Governor Sununu’s endorsement of Nikki Haley, she will win. I can’t say how it will work out, however Haley is more and more showing that she is a GOP(e) Deep State Uniparty swamp dweller. I don’t know how well DeSantis will do. I haven’t seen all that many campaign signs, and most of those were for Vivak. We will find out Wednesday.

I personally have little doubt that President Trump will be the nominee for the Republican Party. The politically motivated criminal cases against him are falling apart and we may see the first dismissals in the next month or two. The big question is how the Democrats are going to get rid of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. They are seeing their popularity, never very good, flat out collapse. Hopefully the Republicans can use all this correctly and destroy the Democrats this time.
