Good day all. Never let it be said that Democrat politicians are lacking in the intelligence department. They continually prove just how stupid they are. We are seeing a major increase in crime, especially in Democrat run cities. Rather then do the obvious, which is to catch and punish criminals, Democrat politicians are looking at another “Solution.”
In this case, it’s the mayor of St. Louis. St. Louis is suffering under a major increase in violent crime, as well as lower levels of criminal activity. St. Louis is also and has been under Democrat control for a very long time. Now the mayor, under intense pressure to do something, has come up with a brilliant idea. Punish the victims of crime. St. Louis has long had one of the highest violent crime rates in the country, and while some might say that the city’s elected leadership should be held accountable, St. Louis’s Democratic mayor Tishaura Jones recently suggested that instead the city should “hold… business owners accountable” for crimes committed on their premises, according to KOMOnews.
This is typical of Moonbats, Progressives, Liberals and Democrats, (But I repeat myself). They have no interest in actually fixing the problems their policies caused, only blaming others for their own stupefying incompetence and failures. Hopping over to the KOMOnews site:
Her statement comes as the area is currently embroiled in controversy following the brutal attack of a 15-year-old girl. Kaylee Gain could be seen on video convulsing on the ground after being battered and having her head slammed against the pavement by another girl. Family lawyer Bryan Kaemmerer told TND Gain suffered a fractured skull, brain bleeding and brain swelling as a result of the attack.
And what happened to the thug who attacked this girl? She has been charged with assault, probably as a juvenile. (Due to her age, it’s hard to find out much) Considering the injuries Ms. Gain suffered, she should be charged with attempted murder. The whole thing was caught on video and that thug went Trayvon Martin on Ms. Gains. The difference here is that Ms. Gains was underage and wasn’t able to put copper jacketed lead into that cow. From what little that has been reported. Ms. Gains may not recover from this brutal attack.
By any measure, St. Louis is one of the worst cities for crime in America. The city received an “F” rating from CrimeGrade.org. For years St. Louis has had one of the highest murder rates and violent crime rates in the country. Jones has been mayor of St. Louis since 2021.
Part of the problem in St. Louis was their former Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, who was a Soros DA, flat out wouldn’t prosecute anyone she didn’t have to unless they were normal citizens who were defending themselves from the people Gardner wouldn’t prosecute. She was eventually forced out just before she was removed by the State for her incompetence and stupidity.
Now we have moved to the next level of stupidity, holding the victims or businesses that are being victimized as the responsible parties. If this were to actually go into force, then the only option left would be the opening of Box Four of the Four Boxes of Liberty. In many locations in this country, it’s sad to think that we might have just reached that point.
As for dealing with criminals caught in the act? Bringing back the Vigilance Committees may be the only option left and it’s a really bad one. This is what the Progressive Liberal Democrats have done, actually making people think about doing the unthinkable. Nice going Mayor Jones.
