Good day all. Recently, there was a major fight regarding sending more aid to Ukraine in their war against Russia. I won’t bother going over why people are tired of sending money to the Ukraine. I’ve gone over it already. It was a major fight and the Deep State Uniparty managed to get the bill passed.
The arguments on providing aid is still going on. It boils down to “Where is all that cash going? Why aren’t we securing our own borders? Are we replacing the weapons we have been shipping off to the Ukraine to blow up evil Russians? Is anyone looking at finding a way to end this?”
This isn’t something Cocaine Mitch “Brain Freeze” McConnell is concerned about. Instead, he and the other Neocon RINO Warmongers have been shoveling money into their donors pockets to the Ukraine. While President Zelenskyy has been grateful, he has also been a bit persnickety on the delays. This is understandable, considering what’s going on. What isn’t appropriate was Brain Freeze McConnell’s apologizing to Zelenskyy over the delays. Here are the details from Newsmax:
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., revealed in an upcoming interview that he apologized to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the delay in sending additional foreign aid to the embattled country.
“One of the things I apologized for is it’s taken too long,” McConnell said during a sit-down with “Face the Nation,” set to be released Sunday. “If you go back to the beginning of this administration, even though I support it obviously, the supplemental requests and worked hard to get Republican votes for it, this all started with the precipitous withdrawal from Afghanistan. It’s like sending out a green light to all of the rogue regimes around the world that the Americans are going home.
Perhaps, you sanctimonious traitor, if you hadn’t spent the last two election cycles sabotaging the Republican efforts to regain control of the House and Senate, we would be in a better place now. Instead, you and that RINO cow, Ronna Romney McDaniel, deliberately sank the campaigns of a number of candidates because they wouldn’t toe the RINO line, and in the case of the Senate, would not have kept you in the leadership.
“Number two, not giving the Ukrainians what they need soon enough. It didn’t just start with this administration. I mean, the Obama administration sent them meals ready to eat [after the 2014 invasion of Crimea]. That’s not exactly a way to defend yourself.”
You might try recalling that both Obama and Biden basically gave Russia the go ahead to invade.
When asked for what he was apologizing, McConnell said, “The slowness of it.”
Yeah, the process of discussing and debating bills can be such a pain, especially when it hits you in your bottom line. (You don’t think all that money is actually going to reach the Ukraine now, do you?
Host Margaret Brennan pressed McConnell on his answer, saying, “The slowness was not in the Senate. Were you apologizing for House Republicans?”
“No, it was in the Senate,” McConnell said. “We spent about four months trying to agree to a deal with our own border with Mexico, which is a disaster. Initially, obviously, to make a law you have to deal with the other side. They’ve got the White House, they’ve got the Senate. We came up with a proposal … my members felt, many of them, it was not good enough. Our nominee for president seemed to be unenthusiastic about acting on that.
Do you know why the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, was unhappy with that spending bill? Because it was meant to secure the borders of the Ukraine, and not the United States. The bill eventually did pass, with most of the RINO’s and Neocons supporting it. (Big surprise since they’re all in for endless wars) The section on locking open the borders was removed, thankfully.
The passage of the additional foreign funding comes as Republicans in both chambers continue to fracture on the issue. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., initially refused to consider any more money for Ukraine until the crisis at the southern border had been addressed. Earlier this month, however, Johnson changed his position and began working to advance the supplemental aid request in the House.
Mike Johnson basically castrated himself. While he will probably finish out this Congress as Speaker, he is not going to be elected to the post next year, and may end up out of the leadership. In fact, the House Republican leadership has managed to piss off just about everyone in the Republican party over this funding bill.
Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, told The Hill on Thursday that there’s “no way” Ukraine would ever see a similar supplemental aid package passed again.
“If Ukraine thinks that it’s getting another $60 billion supplemental out of the United States Congress, there’s no way,” Vance said.
The actual issue is simple. This wasn’t just a funding bill for the Ukraine. As is always the case with Congress, they added a lot of other things to it as well. They also didn’t fund things that people actually want funded, such as border security. This was a major cause of the fights in the House and Senate. If the Republicans had put forward a bill to secure the borders of the United States first, and gotten it signed into law, they would have, more or less, been fine with the funding for the Ukraine.
The problem is that people like Cocaine Mitch “Brain Freeze” McConnell, Mittens Romney and Linseed Graham is that they don’t care that the border is wide open. In fact they are just fine with all the potential serfs and slaves coming over who will be hired by their Chamber of Communists Commerce donors in place of those Deplorable Ultra MAGA Trump supporters. (Best that they all go broke and die in their GOP(e) minds)
Well, a lot of these RINO and TransRepublican losers are in their last terms now, even if they don’t know it. McConnell’s little games have finely come home to bit him in he wrinkly old butt and he’s taking down the rest of the Village Idiots with him.
