Good day all. As you know, Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel on October 1st. The attack was probably in retaliation for Israel’s “Operation Grim Beeper” where hundreds or thousands of Hezbollah terrorists had their pagers explode, killing or injuring a huge number of Hezbollah’s command structure.
The missile attack failed with little to know damage to Israel. Israel since then, has been blowing the crap out of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and has been eyeing the best way to reduce Iran’s ability to attack Israel, or anyone else for that matter.
This has drive the Biden-Harris, (Or is it Harris-Biden?), maladministration bonkers. They have been basically backing Iran and continuing Obama’s kowtowing to the Mad Mullahs. Now Israel, who they have been trying to prevent from annihilating Hamas in Gaza, (And failing miserably fortunately), is looking at retaliating against Iran. The maladministration’s answer? Try to buy off Israel with “Compensation.” Here are the details from Newsmax:
The Biden administration has offered Israel a “compensation package” if it refrains from striking certain targets in Iran as part of its retaliation for Tehran’s Oct. 1 attack, Israel’s Kan News public broadcaster reported on Sunday.
U.S. officials offered their Israeli counterparts “extensive diplomatic backing and additional military aid” if certain targets inside Iranian territory were spared, according to the report.
The rumors of what Israel might decide to reduce to wreckage include Iran’s nuclear weapons program and their oil production facilities. The latter would pretty much bankrupt Iran.
An Israeli official told Kan, “We consider the United States to be our ally and are always ready to listen. At the same time, we will do all that’s necessary to protect the citizens of Israel and the security of Israel.”
In other words, Israel is saying “That’s nice. Now go play in the other room while the adults get to work.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant is scheduled to travel to the United States on Wednesday for an “urgent, 24-hour visit” that will include meetings with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and others.
As of this post, Minister Yoav Gallant has postponed this “Urgent meeting.” I suspect it will be postponed until either a new administration not connected to Biden or Harris takes office, or Iran’s ability to cause trouble and threaten people is ended. Besides, Minster Gallant probably has other things on his mind instead of going to Washington and listening to the blatherings of the morons and incompetents of the Biden-Harris maladministration.
“Israel will respond to the unprecedented Iranian attack in the manner of our choosing, and at the time and place of our choosing,” he said, warning that “everything is on the table” in terms of possible targets.
This reminds me of an old joke regarding Iran that came about during the 1980 presidential campaign. It went, “What’s big, flat, and glows in the dark? Iran after Reagan takes office.” For those who may not remember, or were never told by their Communist/Islamic terrorist supporting teachers, back in the lat 1970’s, through the utter incompetence of the 3rd worst president in American History, Jimmy Carter, The Shah of Iran was forced out and the mad mullahs took over.
Shortly after that, the Shah, who was in exile, got sick and came to the United States for medical treatment. The Mad Mullahs thought it was a great idea to take over our embassy, which led to the 444 days of disgrace and the end of the Carter administration. Ronald Reagan won and within hours of his being sworn in, the hostages had been released. Many wondered if Iran thought that Reagan might just have nuked Iran. (Probably not but Reagan knew how to play 3D chess)
Jerusalem is reportedly planning a significant attack on the regime, which could include targeting nuclear sites and oil fields, although U.S. President Joe Biden has expressed opposition to both of these options.
Biden, as usual, is on the wrong side of a major issue. He is actively trying to protect Iran, which is a country that considers itself to be at war with the United States and has acted accordingly. (Far to many presidents have refused to just blast Iran back into the stone age and leave them there. President Trump worked to bankrupt Iran and did take out the head of the Iranian Quds terrorist force)
A senior political source in Jerusalem told the Israel Hayom Daily on Sunday night that Israel is not interested in a prolonged war of attrition with the Islamic Republic and that its response will be such “that it will cause Iran to reconsider its desire to enter into a drawn-out conflict.
Israel has spent the last year reducing Hamas in Gaza and is now looking to destroy Hezbollah. That is expensive, both in resources, and more importantly, Israeli lives. They may be looking to go “Jacksonian” on Iran. Throw everything at them, including the kitchen sink and smash them so badly that they can’t do anything but try and rebuild.
One thing that is probably on Israel’s target list is the Iranian Nuclear weapons program. There is absolutely no doubt in anyone’s mind, (At least those who actually have a grasp on reality, which leaves out everyone in the Biden-Harris Maladministration), that if Iran gets nuclear weapons, they will use them and not just on Iran. If they were to try and nuke Israel, they will retaliate and they won’t hold back.
Iran is bloviating regarding Israel and their actions regarding Hamas, Hezbollah and their receiving missile attack. On the other hand, the Iranian leadership has gone into hiding and is now avoiding the use of any electronics that would be carried on their bodies lest they go KABOOM! I also just read a story on current head of the Iranian IRGC Quds force being interrogated over the sudden mass openings in Hezbollah’s management.
I have no doubt that Israel is going to do something to Iran and it won’t be what anyone thinks it could be. I won’t be at all surprised of Mossad is letting their “Department of Dirty Tricks” off the leash with a simple order. “Go Play.” The Israelis are also going to flat out ignore Biden, Harris and that soiboi wimp of a Secretary of State, Antony Blinken. Iran is going to discover that the rules have changed and not in their favor.
