Good day all. It looks like we are moving into the Find Out segment of “Fuck Around and Find Out” with regards of the “Assault on the Delaney Hall Detention Center.” One of the Democrat Congress morons involved is now looking at actual criminal charges.
The attempt to “Storm” the ICE facility happened a couple of weeks ago. The Mayor of Newark and three members of Congress, trying to make political points, tried to force their way in. One of the representatives, LaMonica McIver, tried to use her immense bulk to push through the federal agents blocking the protesters. She basically body slammed an agent.
The whole thing was caught on video, both security cameras and the bodycams worn by the police and federal agents. As soon as the footage came out, people were calling for these clowns to be arrested. (The mayor of Newark was, for trespassing) Now it looks like that fat blob of leftard, Representative LaMonica McIver, is also going to be charged. Here are what details we have from the New Jersey Globe:
The Justice Department plans to bring charges against Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-Newark) following a scuffle with federal immigration agents last week at Newark’s Delaney Hall detention center, three sources speaking on the condition of anonymity confirmed to the New Jersey Globe.
Well, that’s going to piss off a lot of Democrats in Congress. They aren’t used to being held to account for their actions. Alexandria Occasional-Cortex has been making not to subtle threats as has Hakeem Jeffries.
Much is still unknown about the case against the freshman congresswoman, including the timing of when interim U.S. Attorney Alina Habba will announce charges. McIver is set to be represented by Paul Fishman, the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey during the Obama administration, and Lee Cortes, the former Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney.
I’m sure there are a a lot of things happening behind the scenes. BlubberButt McIver isn’t a flight risk and they might be working on her surrender. I wonder if she would take the offer to turn herself in? I hope not. I would love to see a Democrat get hit at the crack of dawn by an FBI Raid team. It would make for a nice change of pace, don’t you think?
Video footage shows the fight to have been a general scramble. McIver in particular forcefully attempted to protect Baraka both physically and verbally as he was led away, which may be the basis for charges against her, though claims from some Republicans that she body-slammed or punched ICE officers are more dubious based on the footage available. (Menendez and the 80-year-old Watson Coleman were also involved in the melee, but there’s less video evidence of them physically engaging with agents, perhaps explaining the Justice Department’s focus on McIver.)
As I recall from the footage I saw, McIver was the one throwing her corpulent bulk around, pushing against a Federal Agent. There may very well be other videos that haven’t been released showing Representative JigglyBlob being even more “Aggressive.”
Now this report is currently single source, that being the New Jersey Globe. I’ve run searches on this report and they all lead back to the Globe. There have been no reports from the Legacy Media. (Not even Fox News) Hopefully, we will have more information next week. Until then,
