Good day all. I’ve been sitting on this story since more important ones came up. A member of congress has announced that she considers illegal aliens to be her constituents and that she is representing them.
Not surprisingly, this is yet another hard left moonbat, one Norma Torres, is from Kalifornistan. She also wants to provide free legal assistance to any illegal alien facing deportation. (Which is all of them) Here are the details from the Daily Signal:
Rep. Norma Torres said at a Wednesday press conference that every taxpayer in her district—including illegal immigrants—is her constituent.
Torres, D-Calif., held the event to promote her Fairness to Freedom Act, which would require the government to pay for the legal defense of any immigrant facing deportation who cannot afford counsel.
“Everyone living in my district is my constituent, and I am there to serve and be a public servant for them,” Torres said when asked by The Daily Signal whether she considers immigrants without legal status to be among her constituents.
Torres then ties adding a caveat to her statement referenced above about representing taxpayers.
“Everyone who pays taxes is a constituent of all members of Congress, including immigrants who have filed for a tax ID and are denied any benefits,” she added.
Obviously, this is part of that well known conspiracy theory known as the “Great Replacement Theory.” This is where illegal aliens are brought into the country, provided citizenship and then vote only for Democrats. The simple fact of the matter here is that, once again, the Progressive Liberal Democrat is putting illegal aliens ahead of American citizens and those who lawfully came to the United States. Oh, by the way? Illegal Aliens don’t pay taxes and they don’t get Tax ID numbers.
At the press conference, Torres laid out her legislation as a way to prevent deportations.
Here it comes.
“We all know that the system is designed to leave people in the dark without legal support so they can be railroaded through the system and taken out of our country,” she said.
“But the Fairness to Freedom Act says, ‘Enough is enough’—if a detainee doesn’t get counseled in time, the deportation proceedings must be terminated with prejudice.”
The good news is that this bill has zero chance of becoming law. What it actually shows is that Torres is a traitor, (Perhaps not under the Constitutional definition, but definitely under the traditional definition), and that she wants to throw open the borders and basically end the United States as a nation. And speaking of traitors…
Torres was joined by fellow Democrat Reps. Robert Garcia of California and Pramila Jayapal of Washington state.
Jayapal boasted that they were “three of the less than two dozen naturalized citizens to serve in the United States Congress … and so we know how tough the system is to navigate.”
There is a small difference here you phony. You, or your family, (I don’t recall how you got here), followed the law. What you are doing is ending the legal immigration system outright and instead importing outright trash into the country and then demanding that American citizens support them. And for those who say I don’t know the immigration process, SWMBO is an immigrant and we went through the process to have her immigrate to the United States, legally.
Jayapal also mentioned that “decades of research clearly shows that immigrants with representation are 10 times more likely to obtain relief from deportation … and detained immigrants with representation are three-and-a-half times more likely to be granted bond, enabling their release.”
That’s due to games lawyers play. Now here is the reality. We are dealing with millions of criminals that the Democrats have inflicted on the United States for the last four years. They are robbing, raping and murdering American men, women and children. Add to that the goal of the Democrat party to strip Citizens of the means to defend themselves. This is why the overwhelming majority of people support President Trump in his goal to remove every illegal alien from the United States.
Garcia and Torres both voted against the Laken Riley Act in January, which requires that illegal immigrants charged with theft or violent crimes be detained.
Why am I not surprised?
Jayapal did not vote on the legislation, which was named after a Georgia nursing student slain by an illegal alien.
For some reason, she wasn’t present, however that communist cow did put forward a statement that had she been present, she would have voted against it. She also added that she would have opposed the “Born Alive” act as well. As I recall, that was designed to protect babies that survived an abortion. (That only happens in late term abortions as I understand it. Not going into that issue here)
Torres, Garcia, and Jayapal all voted against the SAVE Act, which would require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote. That bill passed the House 220-208 on April 10, with just four Democrats voting in favor. It has yet to receive a vote in the Senate.
Now this story came out April 30th and has been sitting in my to do list since then. The SAVE act is still sitting in the Senate waiting for those useless geriatrics to wake up and pass it. In any case, this all shows just how much the Democrat Party flat out hates Americans and the United States. It’s idiocies like this that are also the reason that the Democrats are losing voters. That sad part is that until the voters in these districts wake up, these criminal loving scum will keep being returned to office.
