Good day all. Recently, New York City held their primary for Mayor. Eric Adams is running as an Independent. On the Republican side, you have Curtis Sliwa running as the sacrificial lamb and for the Democrats, you had mass murderer Andrew Cuomo and some guy named Zohran Mamdani.
Well the voters have spoken and the primary went to this Zohran Mamdani clown. Now the Democrat party is in a full blown panic. Why? Because Mamdani is a flat out antisemitic communist and racist who has announced policies that will literally destroy the city. Here are some of the details from the Populist Times:
The presumptive nomination of “Democratic Socialist” New York Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is causing panic and a potential mass exodus of various groups of people. High-end property buyers are overwhelming phone lines, attempting to exit existing deals and invest elsewhere outside New York City, the New York Post reports.
There is a reason for this of course. Mamdani has a platform that would make Stalin proud. Looking at the New York Post story:
Within minutes of Zohran Mamdani clinching the Democratic nomination Tuesday night, real estate agents like Ryan Serhant were flooded with calls from clients looking to walk away from deals to buy apartments in NYC. High-end buyers are now looking to purchase property outside the city.
“My number one job will be moving people from New York to Florida. Again,” Serhant told me. “Based on the results, clients are going to hold off on making any kind of investment in New York City.”
It gets a lot worse than that. This commie intends to impose rent control across the board, just for starters. That will kill the commercial real estate market in New York City absolutely dead overnight. Mamdani is also talking about massive tax increases, especially on “The Rich” and on Caucasians, (AKA White people).
One Manhattan-based tech founder who already pays 50% of her income in taxes immediately started thinking about moving. “Where can we go?” she asked me.
Oh I can think of a few places. The question for you is this. Are you going to leave your politics in New York, or bring it with you to a Red state and help drive them into the ground as well? If the latter, you may as well stay right where you are. Besides ruining the Real Estate market, Mamdani also has other “cunning” plans.
To begin with, he is a Muslim and a flaming “Death to Jews” anti-semite. He has promised to arrest Prime Minister Netanyahu if he should visit New York City. (Which he might if he goes to the UN for some reason) Here are those details from Fox News:

In December, former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, now editor-in-chief and CEO of Zeteo, asked Mamdani, “Mayor Mamdani, would you welcome Prime Minister Netanyahu to New York City for the — for whatever he comes for, given the U.S. is not a signatory to the ICC, so he can travel to the U.S., unlike a lot of other countries? Would a Mayor Mamdani welcome Benjamin Netanyahu to this city?”
Mamdani, a 33-year-old state assembly member from Queens who was born and raised in Uganda, told Hasan, “No. As mayor, New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. This is a city that our values are in line with international law. It’s time that our actions are also.”
Now that would be amusing to see. First, I can’t see the New York Police carrying out such an order for a couple of reasons. The first being that this commie wants to disband the police. The second reason is that as a foreign leader, Prime Minister Netanyahu will have his own security detail and also a detail from the Federal Government. Any attempt to arrest the Prime Minister would at the very least see city officials looking at a number of automatic weapons.
If, by some miracle, they did arrest Prime Minister Netanyahu, the FBI and DHS would send in SWAT teams to unarrest him and other agents would then arrest Mayor Mamdani and his flunkies for a whole list of charges. For all intents and purposes, New York City would be put under federal control.
One group that is looking forward to the debacle that would be the administration of Mayor Mamdani is the Republican party. They are already touting him as the face of the modern Democrat Party. Here are those details from Fox News:
The political earthquake that rocked the nation’s most populous city may prove to be a gift for Republicans aiming to paint Democrats as extreme radicals ahead of next year’s midterm elections.
As democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old state assembly member from Queens who is originally from Uganda, was on his way to topping former three-term New York State Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the rest of the large field in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary, Republicans pounced.
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) was one of the first out of the gate to capitalize on the leftward lurch, firing off an email release that claimed, “the new face of the Democrat Party just dropped, and it’s straight out of a socialist nightmare.”
It wasn’t just the NRCC, you also had the Vice President, JD Vance and Representative Elise Stefanik going after him.
Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, a top ally of President Donald Trump who is seriously considering a run for Empire State governor next year, also pounced. Stefanik claimed that “a radical, Defund-the-Police, Communist, raging Antisemite will most likely win the New York City Democrat Mayoral primary.”
In all probability, Mamdani will win the mayor’s race. Now it isn’t impossible that someone else might win. As I mentioned earlier, Curtis Sliwa is running, but honestly, he really has no chance. The last real Republican was Rudi Guliani. (Michael Bloomberg doesn’t count. He wasn’t even a RINO, just a TransRepublican) Cuomo is still in the race as an independent, but he is damaged goods. (Frankly he should be in prison) This leave Eric Adams and he’s a proven failure.
Meanwhile, the Democrat elites are in a panic. They are already losing more and more of their traditional base to the GOP, and their current policies and general stupidity has driven their over poll numbers right down the drain. They are telling their peons in the Legacy Media, aka the Democrat Propaganda Corps, to do whatever it takes to sink this clown. Here are some of those details, also from Fox News:
The Washington Post editorial board warned on Thursday that democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani’s recent primary win in the New York City mayoral race is not only “bad” for New York, but also for the “struggling” Democratic Party.
The Post’s editorial board argued that Mamdani’s socialist policies could bring the city back to the “bad old days” and “discredit” the next generation of Democratic leaders.
“New Yorkers should be worried that he would lead Gotham back to the bad old days of civic dysfunction, and Democrats should fear that he will discredit their next generation of party leaders, almost all of whom are better than this democratic socialist,” they asserted.
I think that one of the writers may have recalled what a disaster New York City was back in the 1970’s. Basically, the city went broke and tried to get bailouts from everyone including the Federal Government. They were turned down across the board. The city finally “Bit the bullet” and did massive cuts. The reason they got into that mess in the first place? Out of control spending. (Gee, where have we seen this before?)
They argued that Mamdani’s policies, including “city-owned grocery stores,” no bus fares, freezing rent on one million regulated apartments and raising the minimum wage to $30 may be tempting to some voters, but the trade-off would “hurt the people they are supposed to help.”
“Such a massive minimum wage would depress low-skilled employment. His rent freeze would reduce the housing supply and decrease its quality. Cutting bus fares would leave a transit funding hole that, unless somehow filled, would erode service. Meanwhile, the grocery business operates on thin margins, and his plan for city-run stores would probably lead to fewer options, poor service and shortages, as privately run stores closed rather than try to compete with city-subsidized shops,” the Post claimed.
Every city that has been forcing employers to pay their employees far more than the job is worth has blown up in their faces. You have workers saying “YAY! I’m going to make $20, (or in this case $30), dollars an hour!” What actually happens is they end up making zero dollars an hour. Why? The business either fires most of their workers or just closes their doors and goes out of business.
The liberal outlet also acknowledged the mayoral hopeful’s previous record of calling to defund and dismantle the police, contending that even though he has toned this rhetoric down, he still opposes hiring more officers.
That isn’t all. He also wants to close the prisons and release the criminals. Add to that his interest in banning all privately owned firearms and you have a recipe for utter and complete disaster.
Another issue the Post took with Mamdani’s proposed policies is the tax burden the city would have to bear in order to achieve them, more than likely sparking a “corporate exodus” from the Big Apple and, in turn, “undermining the tax base.”
That is an understatement. The Stock Exchange has looked into moving out of New York City in the past. If this communist gets in and proceeds with his plans, you can expect the New York Stock Exchange and all the brokerage houses to bail out of the city, taking their billions in tax revenue with them as fast as logistically possible.
In conclusion, the Post laid out what it believes Democrats need to do if Mamdani does end up becoming mayor.
“Should Mamdani become mayor, Democrats such as New York Gov. Kathy Hochul can lead the way in containing him, not least so he does not define their party,” it argued, adding, “Their gubernatorial nominees in Virginia and New Jersey, Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill, respectively, would be much better representatives of a Democratic brand that still needs to buff out the rough edges of its left wing.”
Yeah, good luck with that. For all intents and purposes, the modern Democrat Party is nothing more than a hard left socialist totalitarian party, no different from any of the 20th century totalitarian parties. Add to that their racist attitudes, antisemitism, greed and their hatred of the United States and as we have seen, more and more people are saying “The Hell with this!” and looking at alternatives.
If New York City does elect Mamdani as mayor, the residents deserve everything that’s going to happen to them, good and hard. I wonder how long it will take the city to completely collapse? If that does happen, it might, finally, spell the end of the Democrat Party’s control in that state.
