Good day all. Thanks to the flat out threats by the Leftards to literally murder ICE agents, many have taken to wearing masks to protect their identities. They don’t really want to do this, but the Left has not only threatened ICE agents, but their families as well.
When ICE agents go into the field to round up illegal aliens, many are wearing masks and all are easily identifiable as federal agents. However, the Democrats, who have chosen to protect criminals over American Citizens and Legal Resident Aliens, have decided that the best thing they can do is arrest ICE agents who are wearing masks. Here are some of the details from Breitbart:
Michigan has joined four other states who have introduced legislation to ban Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from wearing masks, with the Wolverine state calling for jail time for violators.
Yeah, good luck with that!
Democrats in California, New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania also have introduced similar bills as part of an attempt by those lawmakers to “increase transparency and limit the agency’s expanded powers” under President Donald Trump, Newsweek reported this week.
This shows just how out of touch with reality the Democrats, especially in the Blue States they control, actually are. They would be actively interfering with Federal Agents carrying out their duties under Federal Law. In case these moonbats hadn’t noticed, that would be a criminal offense and one that they could be arrested on.
As Breitbart News has reported, federal authorities say ICE officers have been wearing plain clothes and using masks during raids to hinder their identification they or their families won’t be targeted off the job by open boarder advocates.
And that is the problem. These so called “Advocates” are quite violent and have been making threats and in some cases attacking active duty agents. They are being arrested and charged, however, as I mentioned earlier, they are also threatening to go after the families of the agents. That will not end well for them. The agents will not hesitate for one second to put these animals down in order to protect their families.
Sens. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Alex Padilla (D-CA) and Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) also introduced a bill at the federal level banning the practice.
That won’t go anywhere. To be honest, it’s people like those three that have forced the agents to wear masks in the first place. When the Leftards started their usual rioting, instead of slamming them, they encouraged them. They certainly don’t care if federal agents or their families are murdered. They’re probably hoping it happens and causes others to quit.
Michigan House Democrats compared masking to “secret police” tactics, MLive, reported. The bill’s sponsor, Rep. Betsy Coffia (D-Traverse City) told the news website:
For the average person, these incidents look like violent kidnappings. With this new federal tactic of wearing masks with no identification, there is no way for the public, the people being accosted or grabbed or even local law enforcement and local, state elected leaders to know who these folks are.
Correction, for the average Democrat who despises this country it looks like kidnappings. As to no identification, they may not be flashing their ID, but they are wearing their badges and wearing clothes that identify them as Federal agents. (Raid jackets) In rare cases where they are in plain clothes, they want to get in and out quickly, both to protect themselves, but also the illegals they’ve arrested and the idiots that might do something stupid to interfere.
The Michigan bill not only bans ICE and Border Patrol from wearing “non-medical” face coverings, it requires officers to display their agency, their name and their badge number. Violators would be charged with a misdemeanor that carried a $1000 fine and up to 90 days in jail.
And good luck enforcing that. I honestly can’t see any local or state police officers trying to arrest federal agents in the performance of their duties because of a bunch of Democrats passed a law trying to protect illegal aliens. It simply won’t happen. If this did happen, the states in question would very quickly find out just what happens.
They would be declared in rebellion and the Army would be sent in. Every single legislator that voted for this along with the governor who signed it would be charged as insurrectionists and the state put under martial law until new elections could be held to replace them all. But it won’t come to that of course. As I said earlier, getting the police to actually enforce such a law wold be virtually impossible.
President Trump has spoken out several times on the masking controversy, saying Democrats outrage over the practice is hypocritical in that he’s heard no lawmakers complain about protesters wearing masks in violent demonstrations.
Well of course not. These are the Democrats version of the old German SA. They just call themselves Antifa these days.
“This is the problem with Democrats,” he said earlier this month. “They have a lot of bad things going on in their heads.”
I have to disagree with President Trump on this. The Democrats generally have nothing going on in their heads. They operate on Feelz, not actual thought or logic. They are also on the wrong side of the Illegal Alien debate, but are to stupid to see it. There is a reason that the Democrats poll numbers have collapsed. They basically, suck.
I don’t see any of these bills going into effect. If one is actually signed into law, it will be challenged in federal court. While an Obama or Biden judge might uphold it, the appellate courts and SCOTUS will shut them down. This isn’t a 10th Amendment issue. It’s Federal Agents enforcing Federal Law regarding immigration and taking what actions they need to in order to avoid violence. It’s just the Democrats trying to look good with their shrinking base.
