Good day all. Since his glorious return to the White House, President Trump has been putting people into place in the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to end the lawfare tactics employed by Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray against President Trump and others.
You would have thought that once President Trump had decisively won the 2024 election, the DoJ and FBI would have pulled back on their antics. Apparently not. Current members of the Trump Administration are now talking about Google informing them that their personal accounts were being probed by the Biden DoJ. Here are the details from Fox News:
Officials from the first Trump administration are alleging they received notices from Google shortly before they returned to office that they were being probed by the FBI under the Biden administration and the web giant was unable to tell them because of a court order.
Dan Scavino, who is now White House Deputy Chief of Staff and assistant to the president, described the matter as “Biden lawfare” kicking in after he “patriotically and proudly” served during Trump’s first term.
“Google received and responded to a legal process issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation compelling the release of information related to your Google account. A court order previously prohibited Google from notifying you of the legal process…” Scavino shared on X from an email he said he received from Google five weeks before Trump returned to the White House.
“I’ve never shared this — but this is a small taste of the INSANITY that many of us went through — right here in the United States of America. LAWFARE at its finest. A Complete and Total Disgrace!!!!!” he added.
I don’t think it’s insanity, but a deliberate and quite stupid attempt at intimidation. I would love to know under what grounds this court order was issued and I would love to see the magistrate or judge who signed off on the warrant, (I believe it would be a search warrant, but I’ll leave the particulars to those better schooled in the law), asked what the Hell they were thinking. Then things took a more serious turn.
Less than a half-hour after Scavino’s post, FBI Director Kash Patel responded to him saying “I got one of those too…”
Kash Patel is now the Director of the FBI. I have no doubt he is looking into this abuse. As to the abusers? When I first started reviewing this story, I thought it was Garland and company. I may have been mistaken. Another member of the Trump Administration confirmed that he was targeted as well and who was doing it.
Jeff Clark, the current acting administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, then chimed in Saturday morning, saying that he, too, received a similar message. He also named names.
“Indeed, a whole Jack Smith team was assigned to go through my emails after there was a privilege review,” Clark wrote on X in reference to the former special counsel.
“But that group of lawyers ignored my religious pastor privilege, marital privilege, and other privileges and basically shipped all they could to Jack Smith. But it still cost me tens of thousands to try to protect my communications,” he added.
Even after the election, Smith and his crew of criminals were trying to get President Trump and anyone close to him. I’m guessing that it was insanity. It also sounds like a clear violation of the entire bill of rights and most of the Constitution as well.
Smith was tapped by former Attorney General Merrick Garland to probe allegations that Trump sought to overturn the 2020 election results, and later investigated the handling of classified documents that were uncovered during a raid at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago compound.
President Trump, along with millions of other people had some very pointed questions regarding the Tainted Election of 2020. What President Trump was doing was to try and determine if the election was honest or, in fact, flat out stolen by the Democrats. As for that panty raid on Mar-a-lago? That has completely fallen apart and the latest “Conspiracy theory” is that they were trying to find any records that President Trump may have had that would have proven the election was rigged. (They didn’t find any apparently)
“My medical records and other private communications had nothing to do with the 2020 election. They were no one’s business. But it didn’t matter to these thugs with law degrees and the willingness to abuse government power,” Clark said Saturday.
“My medical records and other private communications had nothing to do with the 2020 election. They were no one’s business. But it didn’t matter to these thugs with law degrees and the willingness to abuse government power,” Clark said Saturday.
That is a definite abuse. Why should Mr. Clark’s medical records been accessed? I would love to see the documents that are provided to the courts to get this type of access, and I would love to see who approved the access. If it’s what I think it was, then a magistrate, (Usually these warrants are handled by magistrates, not actual judges as I understand things), needs to be investigated.
“They were trying to bait me to go to court to get them to destroy their secret copies of the emails, so they could try to break even my lawyer-client privilege with President Trump. But my team and I didn’t fall for it,” Clark also said. “Moreover, the whole thing was a blatant attempt to intimidate me. It didn’t work and I didn’t fold under the pressure.”
Jack Smith is now being investigated for Hatch Act violations. I think that both he and his entire team needs to be investigated for a number of potential criminal actions. It would also allow for a formal investigation on the matter of Smith’s appointment in the first place. If it’s found, as many believe it would be, that his appointment was illegal, then a whole host of actions against him and all the others on his “team” can be taken.
We can start with every single warrant, summons and subpoena that was issued. Then we have all the court actions taken against people by Smith and his cronies. We can also add Merrick Garland to that list since he was the one who unlawfully appointed that unethical thug in the first place.
Right off the bat, I’m thinking civil suits against them. Since their appointment was illegal, I don’t see them getting any sort of immunity. I also don’t see them being indemnified by the taxpayers, meaning that Smith and company would be on the hook for their own defense and for any judgments rendered against them.
Then there would be potential criminal charges. Now I know that people have been screaming for arrests almost since the first day of the second Trump administration. I include myself in that to some extent, however I also know that it’s going to take months of work to go through all the documents now being located to determine what, if any, criminal charges can be brought.
Then they are going to have to be very certain in their charges. This isn’t the Garland or Holder/Lynch DoJ. Pam Bondi, bless her heart, has to be 100% certain before going before a grand jury and seeking indictments. She’s already damaged herself with the whole Epstein debacle. Still, as the old saying goes, where there is smoke, there’s probably a fire burning. Frankly, I am of the opinion that it’s the DoJ and FBI that needs to be burnt to the ground. This story just provides another reason to do so.
