Good day all. With the news that President Trump announced the United States is now in an armed conflict with the drug cartels, I thought it would be nice to talk about another narco-boat was blown out of the water. Ever since President Trump declared that the drug Cartels were terrorists, he’s done something that only novelists ever considered. He’s authorized the military to use all the Cartel’s drug boats for target practice.
Recently, another boat load of drugs was sunk and the crew converted into fish food. However, unlike the usual few hundred pounds of drugs, this one appears to have been really loaded up. Here are the details from Fox News:
The Dominican Republic has indicated that a boat targeted by a U.S. airstrike had been ferrying “approximately 1,000 kilograms of suspected cocaine.”
The Dominican Republic indicated that its National Drug Control Directorate and its navy seized hundreds of packages of the drug following the American attack against the vessel. “The packages were sent, under chain of custody, to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) to determine their exact type and weight,” the country noted.
Interesting. I would have thought that the packages would have sunk. I have no doubt that a number of the packages were blown apart and there are a lot of fish currently stoned out of their little fishy brains right now. I’m curious as to how much that boat was actually carrying now. It may have been more than a metric ton.
“Dominican authorities, in close coordination with the United States Southern Command (Southcom) and the Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATF-South), detected a speedboat (Go Fast type), which according to intelligence reports was loaded with narcotics and was heading to Dominican territory, with the intention of using the country as a bridge to take it to the United States,” the National Drug Control Directorate news release states.
I’m sure that made the Dominicans happy. Granted, it is a third world country, but they want to improve things and do not want to be another Haiti, a failed state that the Dominican Republic has the bad luck to share an island with.
This marked the first “joint operation against narcoterrorism in the Caribbean region” executed between the Dominican Republic and the U.S., according to the release about the effort.
And with no doubt, for that boat load of drugs we blew up, the D.R. just got a boat load of money to help things. Now if that money actually gets where it’s supposed to go…
President Donald Trump has ordered strikes on several boats this month as he seeks to crackdown on drug trafficking to the U.S.
“IF YOU ARE TRANSPORTING DRUGS THAT CAN KILL AMERICANS, WE ARE HUNTING YOU!” the commander in chief warned last week in a Truth Social post about one of the strikes.
It’s not just using the fast boats for target practice. The Trump Administration wants to initiate a full court press against the drug cartels, and it won’t involve things like constitutional rights, lawyers and pointy headed Obama and Biden judges releasing them with no bail. It will be Delta Force coming in and crashing the party.
I expect the usual suspects on the Left along with a few morons in the Republican party to take offense at the idea of blowing drug runners out of the water. For the Democrats, it probably means their trips to their local drug dealer are going to get more expensive. The those in the Republican party who don’t like this? I suspect it’s more along the lines of being all “High and Mighty” and “We don’t do things like this.” I don’t expect much from the Democrats, but the RINO’s should try talking to their constituents and asking them for their opinion. Should we just blast the Drug Cartels on sight? I suspect the answer will be very straightforward.
