Good day all. It seems that Oregon, Kalifornistan and Illinois are in a race to the bottom to see who can announces the latest stupid move with regards to illegal aliens and Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s operations to deport them. In the latest move, Govno JB Pritzker wants to arrest federal agents for upholding federal law.
Things have been getting really bad in Chicago and Illinois. Leftard extremists have actually attacked ICE agents and shots have been fired. After initial denials, recordings came out proving that the Chicago PD were ordered to not help the ICE agents during that attack. Now it looks like Pritzker wants to go all in on insurrection. Here are some of the details from Newsweek:
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker on Sunday suggested that state prosecutors might examine the conduct of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
“The tables will turn one day,” Prtizker told FOX 32 Chicago.”These people should recognize that maybe they’re not gonna get prosecuted today, although we’re looking at doing that, but they may get prosecuted after the Trump administration because the statute of limitations would not have run out.”
It’s beginning to look more and more that JB Pritzker wants to become the 21st century’s version of Jefferson Davis, albeit, a significantly fatter version.
Pritzker, who is widely seen as a potential candidate for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination, has taken an increasingly assertive stance toward the Trump administration and its immigration enforcement agencies.
Pritzker is widely seen as presidential material by JB Pritzker. He ranks right down there with Govno Gavin “Hair Gel” Newsom as one of the worst governors in the country. Everything he’s doing is posturing for the nomination. The problem is, his mouth may be writing a check he can’t cash.
His remarks about potentially prosecuting federal immigration officers reflect an effort to position himself as a defender of state and local authority against what he characterizes as federal overreach.
A small little detail there. Pritzker and the Democrats are actively protecting illegal aliens. Since immigration is strictly a federal matter, and the federal government has a duty to enforce federal laws regarding people unlawfully crossing the border, the 10th amendment doesn’t apply. The agents are carrying out their lawful duties. What Pritzker and the other Democrats are doing is actively interfering with these agents. Guess what? That’s against the law!
Pritzker suggested that the Illinois Attorney General and local state’s attorneys may be examining allegations of misconduct and wrongdoing within DHS.
“We’re talking to the state’s attorneys and Attorney General to see how they can go at this because what we want to make sure is that they follow the law,” he said.
Your law or federal law? I hate to be the one to break it to you Fatso, but there is this little thing called the Supremacy Clause.
Article VI, Clause 2:
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
Since the Federal Government is in charge of Immigration, they are also permitted to enforce immigration laws and that means that Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with the Border Patrol, can do whatever they need to within federal law to track down and arrest illegal aliens. The State governments are under no obligation to assist the federal government in these endeavors, but they may not interfere with with Federal authorities either.
Pritzker’s remarks come amid public scrutiny of federal immigration enforcement and reports of confrontations between ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents and residents. The agencies are under the spotlight over their operational tactics, alleged civil rights violations, and the impact of their actions on community trust and public safety.
These “Residents” are, in many cases, hard left Antifa terrorists. Those that aren’t are people so far gone with Trump Derangement Syndrome that they probably should be put on psych holds. The overwhelming majority of people are just fine with rounding up the criminals, but illegal aliens, legal resident aliens and American citizens who have been terrorizing Democrat controlled cities like Chicago.
Federal agencies have faced accusations of racial profiling, with critics saying that aggressive tactics and raids have disproportionately targeted immigrant and minority communities, heightening tensions and fears across affected neighborhoods.
Since the majority of the illegals are from south of the border, with others from Asia and Africa, it does make sense to check. Those who are American generally won’t even be looked at twice by the Agents. Those here legally might need to produce their green card, at which point they will be thanks for their time and sent on their way. As to targeting immigrant communities? Well, that’s where the illegal aliens are going to hide out.
“So this is a dangerous time,” Pritzker told FOX 32 Chicago. “The President of the United States is causing mayhem in the grounds of our state. He is going after his political opponents. I don’t know why anybody would look at the situation and not recognize he’s moving toward an authoritarian regime in his own image.”
I see that Fatso Pritzker is indulging in that favorite Democrat tactic of “Projecting.” He is projecting on the Trump Administration all the things he’s been doing. When it comes to subverting the Constitution, Pritzker was right there.
He ignores the 2nd Amendment and do we really need to review his totalitarian actions during the “Great Panicdemic of 2020” and the lock-downs? For all intents and purposes, the blue state mayors and governors tore up the constitution and put the entire population under house arrest. I don’t need to go into all the criminal acts committed by the previous administration on anyone they perceived as their enemies.
“Governor Pritzker threatening to prosecute law enforcement for enforcing the law and arresting murderers, pedophiles, rapists, drug traffickers, and gang members is disgusting. He’s smeared our law enforcement calling them thugs, but to millions of Americans—including those victimized by criminal illegal aliens—they are heroes,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Newsweek. She added: “His conduct is directly contributing to domestic terrorists attacking our brave law enforcement. He is going to get someone killed with this trash.”
If Pritzker and that useless fool of a mayor in Chicago, Brandon Johnson, think that the DoJ won’t go after them, they need to think again. Unlike Merrick Garland, the Bondi DoJ will only move if the evidence warrants it. You can bet they are watching how things play out very carefully. If Pritzker, Johnson or any of the other Democrats cross that one line, they are going to find out that the rules they’ve been playing under no longer apply.
In the meantime, DHS and ICE are continuing their operations to remove all the illegal aliens from the United States. The Department of Justice is also prosecuting those who are actively interfering with the Federal agents, especially those who have been attacking them. I fully expect Pritzker to be the one who goes that one step to far, and provides President Trump what he needs legally to declare that an insurrection is underway.
This is something that President Trump really doesn’t want to do, but with the increasing lawlessness of the Democrats it places like Illinois, he might not have a choice. If Pritzker and his ilk are upset with Federal Law Enforcement Officers doing their jobs, I wonder what they will think when the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps role in? My guess is that Pritzker would be running for Canada looking for political asylum.
