Good day all. The Democrats have been going absolutely ballistic regarding President Trump and his promise to deport every illegal alien in the United States. Since they can’t do anything, as much as they want to, to president Trump, they’ve decided to block ICE agents from doing their jobs.
We have seen how well that’s worked out. So far, two of these idiots have managed to get themselves killed and almost two hundred others are awaiting trial or are being investigated. This has caused at least one Libtard Communist in Kalifornistan to put forward a bill that bars current ICE agents from state jobs. Here are the details from Fox News:
A Democratic California lawmaker is taking aim at citizens looking to hold jobs in crucial public service fields by barring individuals who are currently working as ICE agents from applying, citing “immorality” concerns.
Assembly Bill 1627 would disqualify applicants who are currently serving as ICE agents under the Trump administration from working at any state or local police agency within California.
The bill would also prohibit current ICE agents from holding roles in the state’s education system, including working as teachers or administrators. If passed, the restriction would encompass all public school districts and charter schools, ranging from kindergarten through the California State University system and California State University.
I find it amusing that a Democrat is citing Immorality when the Democrat Party is a party corruption, treason, racism and has a number of members who are prominently named in the Epstein files. I also suspect that this is unconstitutional.
Assembly member Anamarie Ávila Farias, D-Martinez, introduced the bill just days after Alex Pretti was fatally shot by federal agents in Minneapolis.
“Beginning in 2025, [ICE] officers have terrorized California residents, United States citizens and noncitizens alike, through untargeted arrests and brutality based on nothing more than a person’s racial appearance, language spoken, means of earning a living, or exercise of First Amendment-protected expression,” the bill states.
The bill goes on to pinpoint ICE agents who took up their positions after President Donald Trump’s second inauguration.
“Participating in the operations of [ICE] on or after January 20, 2025, demonstrates an immorality that California cannot afford to have in its ranks of peace officers, teachers, and other public employees whose duties include interacting with the public.”
I don’t know anything about this barking moonbat, but if she’s a standard Kalifornistan Democrat, she makes Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin and Mao tse Tung look like political centerists. I have absolutely no doubt that she is all in with open borders and letting illegal aliens do whatever they want.
The move comes as police departments within the state are continuing to grapple with staffing shortages, according to data compiled by the Peace Officers Research Association of California.
I’m not surprised that Kalifornistan police departments are suffering staffing problems. Why would anyone want to take the risk of being a police officer when the political class, (the Democrats), won’t hesitate to throw you under the bus if you happen to actually try and arrest a criminal who happens to be black or Hispanic?
The 2025 report states that law enforcement agencies throughout California have lost over 3,300 sworn officers and 400 civilian staff since 2020, with an average of 10% of policing roles remaining unfilled in the state.
The modern Democrat party considers this a feature, not a problem.
In addition to AB 1627, several other California lawmakers have proposed anti-ICE legislation amid heightened nationwide tension following increased deportation efforts throughout the country.
U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., has said he would aim to restrict ICE agents from holding any state job if elected California governor, while also adding he would confiscate the driver’s licenses of federal agents in the state who wear facial coverings while on duty, according to FOX 2.
It’s questionable if Swalwell will be the next Govno. Even if he does scam his way in with help from his lord and master Xi Jinping, this has already been stopped by the federal courts. There is this thing called the Supremacy Clause.
Since people like Swalwell are threatening federal agents and their families, it’s understandable that they might not want to be identified beyond what is required. Trying to revoke drivers licenses of Federal Agents who are upholding federal law is going to end very badly for Swalwell.
Similarly, state Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, proposed a bill that would make it easier for California residents to sue federal agents accused of violating their constitutional rights.
Good luck with that. Any case against federal agents will be moved to Federal courts. If there is nothing to the case, which, considering how these “Protesters” have been acting, there won’t be, they will be summarily dismissed.
The Fox story lists a number of bills or potential bills, all designed to punish anyone who works with ICE and DHS in any way. They are also still going full Sanctuary State, not just protecting illegal aliens, but rewarding them over American citizens.
Several counties throughout the Bay Area have also reportedly made efforts to create ICE-free zones within the state.
Again with the “Ice Free Zones.” Has no one ever read the Supremacy Clause? When it comes to enforcing federal law, there is no place that Federal agents can’t go within the Constitution. What these moonbats are trying to do is negate federal immigration laws. This is not going to work the way they think it will.
Right now, it’s neck and neck which state is going to force the triggering of the Insurrection act. Minnesota or California. Currently, it appears that a lot of the State officials in Minnesota are trying to block DHS, the DoJ, the FBI and ICE not for altruistic reasons, but to stop the assorted investigations into all the fraud that has been discovered. There are reports saying that if Minnesota’s fraud issues were bad, California’s is far, far worse. I’m beginning to wonder if a lot of this is not to protect illegal aliens, but to protect themselves?
