Good day all. Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar, (D-Somalia), is arguably, one of the most vile members of the Democrat caucus in the House of Representatives. She is a naturalized citizen, however she has put the interests of other countries, (Somalia), ahead of the United States. She has also managed to go from being in debt to worth $10’s of millions of dollars almost overnight.
This along with other things has led to people looking into where she is getting her money and if she has gotten it through legal means. It now appears that things are heating up as her husband’s overseas business dealings are coming under scrutiny. Here are the details from the New York Post:

Just for informational purposes, Omar’s current husband isn’t her brother. That is something else that either is being looked into or should be. The rumors indicate that her “Marriage” to her brother was a sham to aid in her immigration status.
House Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) wants the House Ethics Committee to look beyond the US at Mynett’s failed business ventures and include places such as Somalia, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates.
Those international business dealings make up just part of a shrouded array of business ventures that prompted Somalia-born Omar to disclose a jump in assets from virtually nothing to as much as $30 million, federal filings show. Her 2024 disclosure lists Rose Lake Capital as being worth between $5 million and $25 million.
One of these “Investments” was a winery that may not have actually existed anywhere but on paper.
The family’s skyrocketing net worth came as the multi-billion Somali social services scandal unfolded in Omar’s district, and as Rose Lake scrubbed key information from its site, including the list of its officers as The Post reported.
This has a lot of people thinking that Omar was basically getting either kickbacks or flat out bribes from the millions/billions of dollars she helped funnel to Minnesota’s Somali immigrant crime cartel.
Comer’s committee initially spearheaded the probe and in a Feb. 5 letter to Mynett, demanded he turn over “all documents and communications” by anyone affiliated with either Rose Lake Capital LLC or his failed California winery eStCru LLC related to travel “to the United Arab Emirates, Somalia or Kenya, or travel undertaken to solicit business connected to those countries. This includes the dates of travel, the individuals who traveled, and the stated purpose of each trip.”
Hmm, I wonder if Representative Comer has a former IRS investigator on his staff. That sounds an awful lot like the an IRS anal probe audit and what they want to look at.
“She, (Ilhan Omar), needs to explain to the American people how her net worth went from zero to $10 million in one year, and explain why the Biden Department of Justice was investigating her husband’s financial activities over the course of that year, where her net worth ballooned up,” Comer said on NewsNation’s “Katie Pavlich Tonight” Wednesday night.
So we have another Biden/Garland investigation into corrupt Democrats that was suddenly shut down? Considering that Omar was happily approving whatever Biden’s handler wanted, and probably kicked back 10% to the “Big Guy’s” retirement fund, I’m not at all surprised the investigation was shut down.
Compare it to the reports that the Biden maladministration was ready to launch a full scale lawfare assault on then Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema for crossing the maladministration on policy. (She left the party over Border Security issues)
Then we have the prosecution and conviction of Senator Bob Menendez and his wife for bribery and money laundering. Of course, in the case of Menendez, he was guilty as sin. Still, if Menendez had played ball with the Bidens, I suspect he might have been allowed to retire with his ill gotten gains.
Comer asked House Ethics panel chair Rep. Michael Guest to pick up the probe, which his own members insisted they were better suited to do.
“Ethics is the proper committee to investigate members,” Rep. Anthony Garbarino (R-NY), an Ethics member, told The Post.
It certainly is if you don’t want anything actually done. Frankly, this should be handed over to Kash Patel and the FBI. Following the money is something that the FBI, when they aren’t acting like a secret police force for the Democrat Party, is very good at doing. Sadly, the level of corruption being uncovered is so vast, that I don’t’ think there will be enough time, or honest federal agents to investigate it all. Still, for Ilhan Omar? I think the DoJ can shake a few resources lose and make her life a living hell.
