Is Cuba next?

Good day all. It’s beginning to look like we are seeing the “Trump Doctrine,” taking effect in Cuba. Cuba is starting to see protests against the ruling regime. This is a rather interesting development and one that will anger the Communist Democrat party no end.

Cuba has been a pain the ass of the United States since January, 1959 when Castro seized power and went full on Communist. World War Three almost happened because of that damn island. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, the United States has been generally ignoring Cuba.

When Fidel Castro finally croaked, it was hoped that they would lighten. However, his brother Raul took over and he has tried to maintain the iron grip of communism. However, when President Trump initiated Operation Yoink and snatched Nicholas Maduro, one of the results was cutting off the cheap oil supplies that Cuba relies on. Now the oil has pretty much run out, the lights are off and the people are upset. Here are the details from Townhall:

Anti-regime protests have broken out in Havana, Cuba as the Caribbean state has entered its 60th hour of being without electricity.

The new wave of protests come just days after President Donald Trump suggested that Cuba could be the next country in line for a change in leadership after the successes of the Maduro raid and the first week of Operation Epic Fury.

One of the interesting things on how President Trump is dealing with the leadership of hostile nations is what actually happens. With Maduro, he sent in Delta Force and brought him to the United States to stand trial. With Iran, the Trump administration isn’t being at all subtle. The United States and Israel are just knocking off anyone in power in Iran and pushing the Iranian people to step up and take back their country. With Cuba? Who knows? One thing I can pretty much guarantee, we will not be invading Cuba.

In the meantime, pressure is building on the Cuban Regime to not be Maduro or the Mad Mullahs of Iran and to actually sit down and discuss transitioning Cuba from the Communist pest hole it’s been for decades into what it deserves to be. A free and prosperous nation with a growing middle class. Of course, there are those who oppose freedom, for example, these idiots from the militant:

Up to 70 people rallied at the Town Hall here Feb. 28 to demand “End the U.S. blockade of Cuba and Venezuela!” The protest was called jointly by the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society and the Venezuela Solidarity Network.

70 people? Are you kidding me? I guess the money to pay the professional protesters ran out in Australia or just doesn’t go as far as it once did.

The National Network on Cuba in the U.S. has called for a week of actions in defense of Cuba March 8-15, culminating in a weekend conference in New York City to plan future activity.

Well this group might have some support from the Communist government of New York City. Oh wait! Yeah, there is a small problem with that. Comrade Mayor Mamdani has already nuked the city budget and is scrambling to find ways to pay for his Marxist dreams of a communist Manhattan.

At the Sydney event, Marx del Rosario, who participated in a recent solidarity brigade to Cuba, read a message from a  member of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples. “The signing of the executive order by [U.S. President Donald] Trump, which cut off or prohibited the entry of fuel from Venezuela to Cuba, and the application of tariffs on countries that sell fuel to the island, has greatly worsened our current situation.”

This has led to “massive daily blackouts” and means the “public transportation system is unable to meet the demand,” adding, “hospitals have been deprived not only of basic supplies to ensure care of the population, but also of medication to treat our illnesses.”

The communist delusions of these morons continues. They love to throw around the word “Blockade” regarding the United States policies towards Cuba, but there hasn’t been any sort of blockade since the Cuban Missile Crises. What has been going on is the United States refusing to spend one single penny in Cuba. Even that has loosened up a bit as Americans can go to Cuba on tourist visas.

The Maritime Union of Australia, which organizes seafarers and longshoremen, sent a message to the Cuban Embassy in Canberra Feb. 17 condemning Washington’s oil blockade. “Threats of naval and economic measures against countries that lawfully trade with and supply vital goods, including oil, to Cuba,” the union said, “constitute an intolerable extension of the blockade and an affront to the sovereignty of all affected nations.

MIAMI — Nearly 50 people rallied in a pouring rain in the Flag Plaza at the Miami International Airport here March 1 to protest the government’s escalating attacks on Cuba. The Miami Coalition to End the Blockade of Cuba and the José Martí Cultural Association organized the action, with the Democratic Socialists of America, Socialist Workers Party and a number of other groups participating.

According to the story, people slowed down to read the signs. I suspect that once they realized what these clowns were protesting, they laughed at them and accelerated away. I wonder if any of the Cuban ex-pats showed up. I doubt it since they probably would have pummeled those morons.

The Militant article continues in that vein, showing how the communists in America and elsewhere are “Working to stop the evil capitalist, Donald Trump.” They made the mistake of showing just how popular their views are by listing the number of moonbats, morons and meatheads that showed up.

It will be interesting to see how things proceed in Cuba. In the past, the Communist government has been pretty quick to shut these things down and dispose of the ring leaders. However, this time there won’t be any improvements in the situation in Cuba, even if it’s only fleeting. I don’t see the United States bombing Cuba and I don’t see us doing any sort of raid. Instead, it might be something along the lines of sending in support to people and giving them the tools they need to “Take care of business” themselves. Stay tuned. I’m sure the Democrat Party will once again be up in arms!
