Good day all. Comrade Eric Swalwell is known for many things. Threatening to use nuclear weapons on gun owners, Threatening President Trump and sleeping with a Chinese spy. The last, banging Fang Fang had the FBI inform Congress that Swalwell could not be trusted with sensitive information.
Nothing was done until the Republicans gained control of the House and booted Swalwell off the Intelligence committee. Then the worst president in American history was installed into the Oval Office and nothing further was done regarding Comrade Swalwell. Now reports have come out that all of the FBI files are on Swalwell are going to be released and he’s not to happy about it. Here are the details from Just The News:
Rep. Eric Swalwell, a top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee and candidate for California governor, relentlessly pressed to release all the Jeffrey Epstein files — even if innocent people were implicated — going so far as to suggest withholding funding to the Justice Department.
But Swalwell’s tone on unlimited transparency shifted markedly last week (April 1st) , when he learned the Trump White House might release a long-secret trove of files showing Chinese infiltrations into American politics and elections dating back more than a decade.
Now you may be wondering, what has Swalwell sweating like he’s in a sauna? Could it be a guilty conscious?
Those files, Swalwell fears, may include an FBI counterintelligence probe into the congressman’s relationship with a suspected Chinese intelligence asset named Christine Fang, also known as “Fang Fang,” according to a letter his lawyers sent to Patel. Swalwell has consistently denied any wrongdoing in his dealings with Fang, who reportedly helped Swalwell with fundraising and placing an intern in his office during the 2014 campaign cycle.
Swalwell is not just worried, he’s flat out terrified. It’s not that he might get arrested, although he should be, it’s that people in Kalifornistan might decide that being an asset for a hostile power might not be the person they want for Governor.
Now with his own reputation in the line of fire in a government transparency operation, Swalwell is threatening to sue Patel if the FBI boss complies with a request to send the Fang files to the Trump White House along with other evidence of Chinese election influence operations.
“The Congressman has never been accused of wrongdoing in that matter and your attempt to release the file is a transparent attempt to smear him and undermine his campaign for Governor of California,” Swalwell’s attorneys Norm Eisen and Sean Hecker wrote Patel. “Your actions threaten to expose you, others at the FBI, and the FBI itself to significant legal liability.”
No Scumwell, releasing the files do not expose anyone, with the possible exception of you, of facing legal liability. What your threats do show is that you are just a thug and a bully. There might be reasons not to release the files, your hurt feelings aren’t one of them.
But on social media, Swalwell has suggested he’s a victim and any release of the Fang counterintelligence files would sabotage his California gubernatorial campaign. “The reason Trump is so desperately trying to stop me is not because I’m running for Governor of California, but because now I’m the favorite,” Swalwell posted on X.
The favorite? Not according to the polls I’ve been seeing. While you might be the best polling of the Democrats, in a shocking revelation, the two top people are Republicans. Thanks to the system the Democrats cooked up to block the Republicans from ever having a chance, there is a good chance that it will be the Democrats who are on the outside, looking in.
The congressman’s reaction to the China files stands in stark contrast to his rhetoric when he pressed for transparency in past probes targeting Trump.
Swalwell talked openly with liberal talk show host Rachel Maddow about investigating former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page after revelations that Page was targeted by a secret United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) warrant in the now-discredited Russia collusion probe.
He even suggested Page — who was (like Swalwell) — never charged with wrongdoing, was a former intelligence officer who assisted the CIA as a private citizen — should be investigated just because he gave a speech in Russia, something Bill Clinton did as well.
That whole thing blew up in the faces of the Democrats. We now know that the fake Russia file was paid for by Felonia von Pantsuit, aka Hillary Clinton. Everything involved in that was nothing more than a lie by the Democrats to Get Trump!
Swalwell and a host of other Democrats more recently sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi demanding the release of the entirety of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s report on Trump stemming from the unprecedented raid of Mar-a-Lago.
I’m not sure, but I was under the impression that the courts had said the report can’t be released? Even if it was released, all it will show is the blatant violations of the law and the Constitution by Jack Smith, Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray. There are already calls that those three be brought in front of congressional oversight committees and a grand jury.
More recently, Swalwell dismissed concerns by DOJ that the names of innocent Americans should be redacted in the release of Epstein evidence mandated by Congress. Those privacy concerns were blamed for delays in the release of some of the evidence and Swalwell suggested DOJ should be punished, including with loss of federal funding.
“Every member of the Judiciary Committee, every Republican, every Democrat voted to release these documents and to have them in our hands,” Swalwell said. “They were supposed to be in our hands so that we could stand up for victims and to make sure that we know the names of the people who enabled Jeffrey Epstein.”
So Scumwell’s philosophy can be summed up as “What’s good for the is not good for me and so should not happen?
Swalwell’s change in the value of transparency hasn’t gone unnoticed, as the right-leaning New York Post editorial pages called him out last week.
Right leaning? I would call them a newspaper that isn’t manufacturing news like CNN and the other legacy media sites.
“Eric Swalwell wants the Jeffrey Epstein files released — just not the Fang Fang files,” the newspaper’s editorial board wrote.
“Now, all of a sudden, Swalwell doesn’t like the idea of the FBI releasing files,” the paper added. “That’s because this time, the files involve documents about Christine Fang, or Fang Fang, an alleged Chinese spy who reportedly had a relationship with Swalwell.”
Considering the latest news that literally just came out regarding Eric Scumwell, I suspect he would rather the FBI files be released. It’s beginning to look like Scumwell might have been harassing his female staffers. I should have more on that later, but it’s all part and parcel of this dirtbag’s mindset of absolute entitlement.
It’s also another case where a Democrat attacks everyone else for alleged wrong behavior and it later turns out that very same Democrat, in this case Scumwell, was actually the one engaged in said bad behavior. It’s a good thing this lying sleazeball is leaving congress. He might think he’s going to be the next governor or California, but I seriously doubt it. He wasn’t doing that well before this and the other scandals came out.
