Tax slaves fleeing Democrat Plantation states

Good day all. Now if that isn’t a clickbait headline, I don’t know what is. Ok, enough with the silliness. For the last 6-10 years, if not longer, The so called “Blue” states, those that are basically single party Democrat controlled states, have been seeing people moving out and taking their tax money and businesses with them.

Instead of reviewing why this is happening, the Democrat mismanaged Blue states are doubling down, increasing taxes, not just on the “Rich,” but on everyone. Now the people have decided that since the state government won’t listen, they’re going to leave. Here are the details from Fox Business News:

Americans are voting with their feet, leaving high-tax blue states for lower-cost, Republican-led states and reshaping the nation’s economic and political map, according to new Census Bureau data.

One of the things that is result of people feeling places such as New York, Kalifornistan and other Democrat states is that the number of representatives in the House is going to drop. In all likelihood, States like what used to be known as California and New York will lose at least one house seat and potentially several seats.

It’s believed that they actually should have after the 2020 census, but it looks like the Democrats cooked it to maintain what they have. The odds are that the 2030 census is going to be devastating for the Democrat states.

As states battle for residents and businesses, low-tax red states are attracting jobs, investment and population growth. Democratic-led states continue relying on higher taxes to fund public services and social programs, even as companies and wealthy residents move elsewhere.

One of the problems with this migration is people who are fleeing the high tax states aren’t leaving their political views behind. They’re looking to recreate what they just fled. This isn’t all of the migrants, just enough to be annoying and to damage local politics.

With affordability set to dominate the 2026 midterms, the migration trend points to continued appeal for Republican-backed economic policies, despite Democrats’ attempts to pin economic frustrations on President Donald Trump.

There is a reason they’re having trouble pinning the issues on President Trump. That reason was Joe Biden and what the Democrats did to this country for 4 years. We will be cleaning up that mess for years, possibly decades. Only the stupidest people out there, (That would be Democrats). Think the long term issues are due to President Trump.

Census Bureau data show the nation’s highest-tax states are losing residents, while Southern and Sun Belt states continue posting some of the strongest population gains. Seeking lower housing costs, lighter tax burdens and a more affordable cost of living, Americans are increasingly leaving high-cost coastal states that have seen domestic outmigration accelerate in recent years.

One of the interesting benefits for all these people moving to lower tax states is that they are bringing tax money with them which will actually expand the tax base, and provided the local legislators can keep their hands out of the till, may actually cause taxes to be lowered.

New York collected more state and local taxes per resident than any other state in fiscal year 2023, at $12,506, according to Census Bureau data. Democratic-led Connecticut, New Jersey and California also ranked among the nation’s most heavily taxed states.

Connecticut collected $9,388 in state and local taxes per resident, while New Jersey collected $9,178. Many of those states rely on progressive income tax systems to fund public schools, mass transit and other government services.

The Democrat states have hit the point of diminishing returns. Like all socialist regimes, they’ve run out of other people’s money. Now they are discovering the joys of years of out of control spending to buy votes leads to the people they’ve been robbing just flat out leaving.

By contrast, Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama ranked among the lowest in per-capita tax collections, reflecting a governing philosophy centered on lower taxes and a lighter burden on residents and businesses.

One of the problems with Tennessee is that they are seeing an influx of Kalifornistan moonbats. A lot of them are Hollywood actors and actresses who don’t like that the state is very Republican, so they want to change it into Kalifornistan. It hasn’t crossed their minds that they left that third world state due to what they all voted for. Fortunately, enough of these transplants are actually closet Republicans.

That approach appears to be attracting both people and investment. Several Republican-led states have embraced aggressive tax-cutting strategies aimed at drawing workers, retirees and businesses.

Tennessee has no state income tax, while Arizona recently adopted a flat tax. Mississippi and South Carolina have enacted multi-year tax-cut plans and are pursuing the eventual elimination of their state income taxes altogether.

In New Hampshire, we have no income tax and no sales tax. Property taxes are an issue but people are starting to look into this. The one issue we have is that to many Democrat Massholes have moved up here and the Democrats are forever trying to push through both an income and sales tax.

Supporters of the lower-tax approach argue it has helped drive migration to the South and Sun Belt, particularly as remote work gives Americans more flexibility over where they live and businesses greater freedom over where they invest.

That is a major reason. Another reason? It doesn’t snow in Florida or Texas.

Critics counter that lower-tax states may struggle to keep pace with infrastructure needs and public services as their populations expand.

There might be a few issues, but with the increasing tax base, the states, and with careful planning, I think they can handle it. This is the dead opposite of what’s happening in the Democrat run states. Their tax base is shrinking. When it comes to planning, the words “Epic Fail” define them. All you need to use as an example is Kalifornistan’s No Speed Rail system. They’ve wasted 10’s of billions of dollars and not one foot of track has been laid down.

I suspect that in the next 10 years, unless there are major structural changes in the Democrat mismanaged states, you are going to see a few of them just flat out collapse economically. Add to that, the loss of both House seats and Presidential Electors, (Each state has the same number of electoral votes as they have house seats), and it isn’t impossible that the Democrat Party itself collapses.
