Good day all. With the win by a number of “Democratic Socialists” in the New York primaries, (With a massive 7% turnout), the national party has announced their agenda. It’s exactly what you would expect from a pack of lazy deadbeats.
The Democratic Socialists of America, who are the Communist party in everything but name, released their platform last month. The Legacy Media ignored it since most of them flat out agree with it. However, a few did notice and report on it. One was the City Journal. Here are the details:
Earlier this month, the Democratic Socialists of America’s top leadership met for an in-person meeting of their National Political Committee (NPC), the DSA’s governing authority. The result of the meeting was “Workers Deserve More!”, a rebooted platform for the organization featuring a host of radical proposals. The document commits DSA to scrapping the U.S. Senate, “abolishing the carceral forces of the capitalist state,” defunding the Department of War, amnesty for all immigrants, and “replac[ing] the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.”
So basically, they intend to tear up the Constitution of the United States and institute the standard communist totalitarian regime.
As more and more members seek election to local and national positions, the platform represents a clear statement of the DSA’s views. Its radicalism, therefore, gives a glimpse into how the equivalent of the DSA’s board of directors—some of whom have appeared to moderate—actually think about politics.
Moderate? I don’t think so. What they were good at was hiding from the general public just what they are. Communist Totalitarians. They are pushing the same old failed policies from every failed communist regime going back to the USSR.
“Workers Deserve More!” emerged from another DSA committee that spent two months grappling with and debating its language. When the NPC took up the document, its presenter urged the DSA to pass it unamended after it cleared the committee unanimously.
More what? Enslavement by the State? Because that is what Socialism and Communism are. The State is all powerful and the individual is not important and can be expended as needed. In any case, it looks like the Communist leadership had some other, probably dumber ideas. (If that is at all possible)
Instead, DSA leadership added four amendments: one on “real democracy”—calling for the replacement of “the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress”—another on police and prison abolition, a provision explicitly naming Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state, and a ranked-choice voting section. The NPC passed two of these four amendments unanimously, while the “real democracy” provision prevailed by a razor-thin margin.
As I said earlier, these useless tools basically want to end the United States as a Constitutional Republic and institute a “Dictatorship of the proletariat.” The sad part about this nonsense, is that these commies think they can pull it off.
“Workers Deserve More!” has revolutionary aspirations. It aims to “win the battle for democracy, draft a new constitution, and create a democratic socialist republic.” The document makes clear that achieving this vision would require “building a new society from the ground up,” accompanied by sweeping structural changes.
And in true Communism, anyone who doesn’t agree will be eliminated. They are calling for everything every Marxist, Leninist, Maoist has ever wanted.
To accomplish that goal, the DSA calls for sweeping political and economic changes, including full public financing for campaigns and the abolition of the Electoral College, alongside the establishment of public ownership of the largest corporations and essential industries to ensure democratic control and accountability, and strict regulations on investment properties.
Oh like that has always worked so well. They want to seize businesses, use taxpayer funds, actually steal taxpayer funds for elections, and you know damn well that the only candidates who would receive any money would be those who are approved by the Central Committee. I would ask them where any of this has ever worked, but they would ignore the question and have me and anyone else questioning their policies sent off to reeducation camps.
It would also defund the Department of War, close overseas bases, and end all economic sanctions—which would include those in states like Iran, Cuba, and Russia. The platform further endorses universal amnesty for illegal immigrants, and ending “restrictions on . . . marriage,” which would presumably entail the legalization of polygamy.
In other words, they fully intend to back the enemies of the United States and prop them up. They also intend to throw open the borders and make anyone who comes in citizens. As to the “Restrictions on Marriage, the author of the piece thinks polygamy. I think it’s more along the lines of letting pedos “Marry” children.
The article then goes into how the DSA Communists are going for the “Big Tent” approach. This includes bringing in the absolute nutcases, although it is hard to tell since they’re all bughouse nuts.
Sarah Milner, a member of the far-left Reform & Revolution caucus, acknowledged that the platform’s more radical language may be “off putting for people.”
But she pointed to Woodrow Wilson’s advocacy for dramatic structural change in American governance.
Oh Gee, why am I surprised that this idiot is drooling over Woodrow Wilson? Wilson, when he was mentally competent, (He suffered a stroke in office and his wife and a couple of others hid it from America and ruled in his stead. Just like Jill Biden and the Obama drones in the Biden Maladministration), was a flat out racist who wanted to end the Constitution, institute rule by the elites and basically bring back slavery and the old Confederacy.
Milner said this amendment “puts forward a vision of transforming the functions of the American state to allow for the implementation of socialism.”
How does no strike you Comrade Bitch? Most of America will flat out reject this and will do so violently.
One of the NPC co-chairs, Ashik Siddique, admitted that “abolishing the Senate is pretty radical and is something that I think more and more people are . . . seeing that as very reasonable.”
I had to do some digging on this Ashik Siddique person. He is a native born American, but his parents were from Bangladesh. As near as I can tell, he’s never done an honest day’s work in his life. He obviously has no real experience to draw on and is “Living the dream” of useless people everywhere. As to ending the Senate? He obviously doesn’t understand why it was created in the first place.
It was designed to give small, low population states a voice. The House is set up in such a way that populous states tend to have more influence than the small states. Right now, the majority of the “Blue States” political power is in cities. People out in the suburbs and rural areas are spread out and have to fight for representation. We saw what happens in Virginia where the cities pushed the Democrats to power, and the Democrats promptly went full tyrant.
We do have a number of issues with the Senate, one of them being turnover. Generally the only way to get rid of a senator is to have them carried out feet first. The answer to that is not abolishing the Senate, it’s term limits and repeal/replacement of the 17th Amendment. I noticed that they have nothing to say about term limits except for those they consider “Enemies of the Party.”
The NPC unanimously passed the next two resolutions—on Palestine and ranked-choice voting. Francesca Maviglia of the Spring of Revolution caucus sought to amend the section related to Palestine to specify Jerusalem’s importance as the “capital of Palestine.” She argued that this is “one of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people” and “a deeply felt issue for hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and millions of Muslims around the world.”
I think Israel might have something to say about that. Jerusalem was built by Jews thousands of years ago. The Palestinians? There is no such group and never was. What the Arabs who are calling themselves Palestinians want is the outright extermination of the Jews. Considering that Communists, like the Nazis, are about as antisemitic as the Muslims, I’m not at all surprised that they have no problem with a second Holocaust. (I’m not Jewish, but I have a real problem with that idea and will do whatever it takes to prevent it)
These clowns are idiots, true, but they are dangerous idiots. They have no real world experience and live in a political bubble. Most Americans will reject them, and they won’t take that well. If, somehow, they gained enough power to try and implement their crap, there would be a very violent reaction. The DSA intends to confiscate all privately owned firearms and you can see why. An armed population will resist, and probably successfully.
These are the people matriculating into the Democrat Party. The Legacy media won’t talk about this since they support the basic agenda of enslaving anyone who doesn’t support the Democrat Party. (Yes, I know, work with me here) We’re already hearing talk of states seeing no alternative but to break away if the Democrats and the DSA take control of the Government and start instituting these policies.
