Good day all. It seems that every new day brings a fresh drop of documents showing just how corrupt the Biden Maladministration was. One of the worst things they did, was throwing open the borders. We have been dealing with that since the first day of the second Trump administration.
Now a new memo has been found from the last days of the Biden Maladministration that shows that they intended to make it even worse than it currently is. Here are the details from Fox News:
A newly-uncovered Biden White House memo from the administration’s final days revealed plans that could have expanded Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to more than 3 million noncitizens while acknowledging that previous court challenges had blocked many of President Donald Trump’s efforts to end the protections.
All of those blocks have been done by COB judges, and in more than a few cases, illegally. We have also seen what the end game of the Democrat party is. Replacing their current base with a new group of ignorant serfs who will do what they’re told. At the very least, the millions of illegals would be counted in the census and that would benefit the blue states.
TPS is meant for foreign populations experiencing crises like political unrest or natural disasters, and while Trump has tried to end the “temporary” provisions for Haitians, Nepalese, Salvadorans and Sudanese people, lawsuits from pro-migrant advocates have halted most attempts.
“My investigation uncovered that the Lame Duck Biden White House tried to keep millions of illegal aliens in our country by abusing the ‘Temporary’ Protected Status program,” Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., who acquired the memo, told Fox News Digital on Friday.
“After the American people voted for President Trump’s promise to end the TPS scam, the Biden administration tried to subvert the will of the American people. This was mass amnesty-by-decree. America is for Americans, and it is our home—it is not a permanent refugee camp,” he said.
This is not surprising. What I’m curious about is who came up with this idea and who was trying to implement it? We know now that Biden was mentally incompetent pretty much from the day he announced he was running. I doubt he was even aware of this memo. Considering how the autopen was used to forge Biden’s signature, I’m surprised this wasn’t actually accomplished.
The memo argued that “granting TPS will potentially protect many vulnerable people from President-elect Trump’s planned mass deportations… They argue that these protections are likely to hold in court, and they are prepared to litigate efforts to terminate or slow down the implementation of TPS for specified nations by the Trump Administration.”
That smacks of a conspiracy to fraudulently subvert the nation’s immigration laws. I think those who might have been planning on litigating these protections, if the Biden people had gotten them through, would have blown up in their faces when this memo came out. As for those judges who would have backed them?
“[P]rior federal litigation brought by advocates during the first Trump administration was successful in halting [its] efforts to terminate TPS, though that was due in large part to [its] failure to produce a factual record in support of termination, which is something that could be rectified,” the memo went on.
I think they’ve corrected that issue, which is why the COB judges are just obstructing things. I will be honest and say I just now took a quick look at how Temporary Protected Status works. From what Grok is telling me, and please check other sources, the designation lasts no more that 18 months.
What we have been seeing is people who have been here for years, in some cases decades. These long term TPS recipients never made any attempt at formally legalizing their status. (Getting a green card) In a number of other cases, the reason for the TPS is past.
Schmitt said he obtained the memo from Archivist of the United States Edward Forst through his authority as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution.
“Biden tried to turn TPS into a 3.1-million-person deportation shield, protect Tren de Aragua members, and trap President Trump in years of litigation,” he said, adding the move directly betrayed the “will of the people” who ousted liberal Democrats from power the prior election.
“The most disturbing part, Biden’s ‘Senior Advisors’ recommended he create 2.1 million NEW TPS designees in the last few weeks of his presidency, despite admitting TPS applications take 6 months,” Schmitt added.
“Luckily, that never happened and we have been deporting Ecuadorians and Guatemalans.”
Also, it looks like it wasn’t just the criminals in the White House who were trying to cook this up. There were a few members of Congress involved as well.
The memo said Biden’s “senior team” had also received requests for varying types of new TPS-related actions before Trump would take office from Sens. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., Catherine Cortez-Masto, D-Nev., Cory Booker, D-N.J., Richard Durbin, D-Ill., Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, Ben Ray Lujan, D-N.M., Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., and Alex Padilla, D-Calif.
“In addition, some stakeholders are requesting that your Administration designate nationals from new countries, most notably Ecuador and Guatemala, for TPS,” it stated.
This is a list of some of the worst, most corrupt and in a few cases, outright treasonous, (In the generic sense of the term), members of the Democrat Caucus. I can’t say that I am at all surprised that these people tried to do this. The only good thing is that these criminals weren’t able to get this done. I have a suspicion that if they had managed to push this through, we may have seen a full blown constitutional crises with the potential for any number of really bad things happening…to the Democrats. We managed to dodge yet another bullet when this disaster failed to materialize.
