Good day all. Last month, news came out that the voter rolls in New Jersey had over 6600 non-citizens registered to vote. It was also determined that at least 400 non-citizens may have actually voted. Because of this, the Department of Justice escalated it’s call to examine the voter records.
The call to provide the records was made even before this debacle was discovered. Since Sherrill is new to the office, she cold have stepped up and worked with the DoJ to determine how this happened. instead Mikie Sherrill has continued to refuse to provide them even after admitting that they had a major problem. Here are the details from Newsmax:
New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill said Tuesday that she will defy a Department of Justice request to provide information regarding noncitizens listed on the state’s voter rolls.
Sherrill, a Democrat, revealed July 21 that a review found a software error at the state Motor Vehicle Commission led to 6,600 noncitizens being registered to vote in New Jersey from 2023 to 2024, with roughly 400 of them improperly casting ballots.
The claim of a software error pretty much blew up in her face when the company that made the application came out and said that it was actually working as designed, and that the state agencies were sent all the records on new voter registrations and never bothered to actually check that they were valid.
That same day, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who leads DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, sent Sherrill a letter requesting, within five business days, information on the 6,600 individuals, including their full names, dates of birth, nationalities, home addresses, and registration dates and locations.
I suspect that most of these people may not have known they were on the voter rolls in the first place. There have been a number of cases where lawful resident aliens found out that they were registered to vote and immediately demanded that their names be removed from the lists. There is a reason for this. It could jeopardize their status and any plans they have to become citizens.
Dhillon also requested information on the 400 who voted, including when and where they voted and, if by mail, whether the ballots included the required certification and signature under state law.
“Today, I informed @AAGDhillon that New Jersey will not provide the personal information of thousands of New Jersey residents,” Sherrill wrote on X. “The request had no legal basis, and I will always protect New Jerseyans’ personally identifiable information.”
In this case, these people actually committed a crime. It is illegal for non-citizens to vote and yet, these people appear to have done so.
“NJ has a legal duty to keep ineligible voters off its rolls, & our request is grounded in that legal authority. DOJ will get this information through all legal means!” Dhillon wrote.
One problem with getting access to the information are the corrupt COB judges. Even though there is clear evidence of illegal activity, they are still running interference for the Democrat states. Here are those details from Newsmax:
A federal judge on Wednesday dismissed the Trump administration’s lawsuit seeking New Jersey’s unredacted statewide voter registration database.
n a 17-page opinion, U.S. District Judge Zahid Quraishi wrote that the Justice Department’s claim failed because “the State’s computerized [voter-registration list] is outside the scope of Title III’s inspection provision.”
“As a threshold but dispositive matter,” Quraishi wrote, “this Court disagrees” with the Justice Department’s interpretation of the law.
I looked up this clown and despite his name, he was born in the United States. However, like almost all the Biden judges, his first inclination regarding anything by the Trump Administration is to block it. Additionally, this bozo dismissed the case with prejudice.
The dismissal with prejudice prevents the Justice Department from refiling the case under the same legal theory, though the administration could appeal.
Oh I have zero doubt they will appeal. I also won’t be surprised if this is yet another case that ends up at the Supreme Court and this jerk, and probably the Circuit Court, gets slapped down again. In any case. This is going to end up in front of a congressional committee. This wasn’t just a few dozen people that slipped through the cracks, it was thousands with hundreds who appear to have voted illegally.
Every day we see yet more instances of voter registration and election fraud, almost invariably coming from the Democrat controlled states. The Democrats keep saying this isn’t happening, and yet, we see people being convicted of election and voting fraud. I think that President Trump should invoke the Guarantee Clause of the Constitution. This is Article IV, Section 4. It reads:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
To my knowledge the last time this clause was utilized was by Abraham Lincoln and by congress after the Civil War during Reconstruction. It hasn’t been used since. The clause has been challenged, bu the courts have ruled that this is generally nonjusticiable. I have absolutely no doubt that if the Administration used this, some moron COB judge, (Can we say Boasberg? SURE we can!) will issue a ruling that it can’t be used.
I suspect that things are going to come to a head regarding these issues and that both New Jersey and California are going to be run through the ringer. It may have to wait until after the midterm election. However, if the Democrat Fraud machine goes all in, the next election might just be the one that breaks the entire system. All that the states need to do is just clean up their voter registration rolls.
