How out of touch is Obama?

How about THIS out of touch? According to Obama, “The Private Sector Is Doing Fine.” No, you read this correctly. The SCoaMF really thinks the private sector is in great shape and that we need to increase the size of government at all levels to fix the economy.

This was just some little gaffe. He was asked a question and Obama gave that reply and the proceeded to double down on Stupid. Here’s the question and answer from Real Clear Politics:

Question: What about the Republicans saying that you’re blaming the Europeans for the failures of your own policies?

President Obama: The truth of the matter is that, as I said, we created 4.3 million jobs over the last 27 months, over 800,000 just this year alone.

The private sector is doing fine. Where we’re seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government. Oftentimes cuts initiated by, you know, Governors or mayors who are not getting the kind of help that they have in the past from the federal government and who don’t have the same kind of flexibility as the federal government in dealing with fewer revenues coming in.

And so, you know, if Republicans want to be helpful, if they really want to move forward and put people back to work, what they should be thinking about is how do we help state and local governments and how do we help the construction industry? Because the recipes that they’re promoting are basically the kinds of policies that would add weakness to the — to the economy, would result in further layoffs, would not provide relief in the housing market, and would result, I think most economists estimate, in lower growth and fewer jobs, not more.

Here’s the actual video of Der Fubar showing his utter incompetence and the firm belief that everyone will believe the Big Lie:

Unbelievable. If The SCoaMF believes what he just said, then he is delusional and should be removed from office under the 25th Amendment of the Constitution. The relevant section states:

Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Of course, Der Fubar will say he is just fine and apply the remainder of the section:

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

What will Obama’s excuse be that he isn’t delusional? Simple really. He can admit he flat out lied and that he knows damn well the economy is in the tank and that he “Dreaded Private Sector” of which he knows nothing, is in a shambles.

Of course, the Romney campaign saw this low, slow pitch, swung and knocked it out of Fenway Park.

Game, set and Match to Governor Mitt Romney. (Please excuse the mixed sports metaphors)

Obama, as we all know, has never really worked a day in his life. Certainly not in the Private Sector. Michelle Obama had, until Der Fubar sleazed his way into the oval, what amounted to a $300,000 no show job at the University Of Chicago Hospital. This job was so important, that when Michelle Obama left, the job was eliminated. The only reason she got it was the SCoaMF getting his communist posterior into the Illinois State Senate.

Of course, this won’t be covered at all by the Mainly Stupid Media. In fact they will do all they can to jam this down the memory hole. On the other hand, I expect it will show up on Fox tonight. I might even tune in if I have time.

And it has appeared on The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler. I’m sure Emperor Misha got a nice chuckle.

As always…..

Remember in November!

  4. Ogrrre says:

Where does Ear Leader get the numbers he spouts off? He must eat a box of ExLax, then pick through the results, and there are the numbers! 4.3 million jobs were created? Oh, really? If so many jobs have been created, then why is the number of people working in the US the lowest number since the Great Depression? If so many jobs have been created and the private sector doing so well, why have so many hundred thousands of people left the job market as “discouraged workers”? If so many good jobs have been created, why has the median income in the US declined? If so many jobs have been created and the economy doing so well, why have the reported number of new unemployment applications been revised upward 63 out of the last 64 weeks?
Obama is so full of shit, his eyes are brown.
