Greetings all. We hope you had a good Christmas. The Webmaster, in his Guise of Scrooge, has been working at his Real World Job over the weekend and is about to do back to back 12 hour shifts. Since he hates Christmas, he doens't mind working and getting the bonus time off. The Webmaster returned to the Anger Central Primary Dwelling last week to find a new box attached to the building, and some tools sitting unattended on the sidewalk. It turns out that the new internet company that the Webmaster is switing over to this week came in and did some of the prelimary work, brining the fiber line in and setting up the DMARC. The new connection is scheduled to go live Tuesday. We had a pair of rants come in, one regarding the Wuhan Flu and not getting vaxxed, and the other about someone reading spoilers for the current Spiderdude movie and getting upset by it. Well, it's that time of the year, and as usual, the Webmaster uttely despises it. He will be working Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and "Boxing" Day, and he's not looking forward to the back to back 12 hour days. At least he won't be shopping for Christmas Gifts since he won't be going anywhere. We got in two new rants,, one of which was directed at the Post Office. We checked the date stamp and it's been almost 10 years since anyone bothered to complain about the United States Post Office. We doubt it's due to their great service, more like no one uses them unless they have to. The Webmaster is currently waiting for his new internet connection to be installed next week. Yes, he is dumping Comcrap and going with fiber. I suspect that Comcrap is going to be panicking in the next few months as peopel start dropping them like a house on the Wicked Witch of the West. The Webmaster is looking at a significant boost in speed and a lower cost. Sadly, he won't be able to buy his own modem, but otherwise, his home network will remain under his authoritarian control. On the other hand, the Webmaster has discovered Sabaton, and has been filling the offices with their music. The Webmaster has also replaced his Amazon Firesticks with the latest versions, and he has noticed a definite improvement. (He hates Christmas, in case you hadn't noticed, so he has no problem working the holiday) He's also taking this week off to not go Christmas shopping, not that there's a lot to buy now, thanks to the drooling idiot in the White House. The Webmaster is enjoying the air Fryer he acquired and has been trying out new things. He's still learning how to use it well of course. The steak he cooked in it came out very well...done. ;) actually it came out perfectly. He also found a recipe for garlic butter that, when melted on the steak, just set it off beautifully. One of them was from some leftwing Antifa troll who wants Kyle Rittenhouse strung up. His/her/its grasp of the facts of the case are seriously lacking. The other had somethign to do with TikTok and someone who does soemthing on it. Since no one at Anger Central uses TikTok and has never heard of this "celebrity" we really don't have much to say about it and we said that. The Webmaster was also hit with the Faceplant Ban Hammer over the weekend. He was put into Faceplant Solitary Confinment for 24 hours for daring to post a Meme he found. What was the meme? A picture of people demanding to defund the police saying they would police their own neighborhoods, a picture of Kyle Rittenhouse with his rifle with a caption saying he did just that, and some woman screaming NOOOO! Well, the Webmaster decided to visit the local Ford dealership and take a look at a Bronco. This was the 4-door Big Bend version. This was a display model and wasn't available for test driving or sale. (They said it wold be auctioned off at some point) The Webmaster is interested in the 2-door version, and Ford is about to start building the 2022 models. The Webmaster has been looking at Broncos for over a year now, and this is the first chance he's had to actually sit in one. It was comfortable, and there were a few interesting surprises. First the doors are very light. This isn't surprising since they are designed to be removed. Even the tailgate was well balanced even though it had a 50 pound full sized spare tire on it. Sadly, if the Webmaster wants one, he will have to order it now to get it in April. (Thank you Progressives for the lockdowns and supply chain issues) Of course, the Webmaster won't order one until he gets to test drive one, preferrably two. (The come with two different engines) On the rants front, we had two new ones come in. The webmaster is once again toying with putting the site into archive mode and not taking any new posts. Well, the Webmaster saw the latest film iteration of Frank Herbert's classic Dune, and it looks like they finally got it right. The Webmaster was a bit annoyed when he was about halfway through and realized that there was no way the current film covered the entire book. Yep, it was set up to have a sequel. Considering that many people seem to like it, I think there's a good chance that there will be one. his has the potential of being another "Lord of the Rings" series, although that was filmed back to back. We had several new rants come in. Frankly they aren't all that great, still we posted most of them. The Webmaster decided that it was a good time to take a few days off from his Real World Job. Of his team, he's the one who has taken the least time off this year and there are a few faint wisps of smoke starting to emenate from him. (Which could be the first indications of burnout) SWMBO has decided to take another job. It's better hours and pay apparently, although she will be more then an hour from the Anger Central Primary Dwelling. The Webmaster is still vry interesting in prcuring a new vehicle, and is now looking forward to the 2022 versions of the Ford Bronco. They'll actually be officer a color he likes. He has been following the "Bug reports" and to date, most of them appear to be more of the trim variety rather then mechanical defects. He, and others were basically given an ultimatum. Get "The shot" or get fired. The Webmaster's manager and VP both think this is stupid, but they have no say in this decision. This is something that is being seen in companies all across America. The Webmaster hasn't been paying much attention to the local news, but it seems we may be getting a bit damp. The Webmaster has also been ordering things and is not very happy with FedEx. Rather then go into his office, he decided to work from home. Big mistake as his VPN connection decided to emulate a yoyo, usually at a mission critical time.SWMBO wants to go visit Lexington and Concord, however, with the weather issues, that doesn't look to be happening this week. Greetings all. well, that was fast. The Webmaster goes on vacation and a week later President Dementia has lost Afghanistan and is doing a remake of the Fall of Saigon. Thw Webmaster and SWMBO took a day trip to the teensy weensy state of Rodent Island. SWMBO wanted to see The Breakers and the Topiary Gardens. The Webmaster was very impressed with the Breakers, so much so, he put an offer on the place. ($2000), He hasn't heard back yet. The Topiary Gardens didn't impress the Webmaster and SWMBO seemed a bit disappointed. The Webmaster suspects it was all the rain we've had this year and the gardens were basically overwatered. We had 4 new rants come in this week, one an apparent repeat from an Antifa thug badmouthing the Proud Boys. The Webmaster referred the thug to the previous Note from Anger Central on the subject and moved on. The Webmaster also had his annual physical and in general, is in good health. There was one interesting surprise. The Webmaster has been 5' 10" since he achieved full growth. When his doctor's office measured him, he was 5' 11". We were under the impression that if you get older, you tend to shrink. Well, the Webmaster has always had to be different. It's back to the Webmaster's Real World Job Monday. He is so looking forward to it. He also has to work next weekend, something else he so looking forward to. As for SWMBO? She's now looking for a day trip to Concord and Lexington MA. (Not together) The webmaster and SWMBO are planning a day trip to the lands of Rodent Island. She wants to tour the mansions. We had three new rants come in, however, one was rejected once the Webmaster started working on it. It was obviously faked since it indicated that a violent action had taken place. The action, as descibed, would have put the poster into jail, and therefore, unable to post. The Webmaster's Real World Job has been both quiet, since Europe has gone on vacation for a couple of months. (Not that they do any actual work when they're back at work) It's also been crazy busy because the company is rebranding and the Webmaster's department has to do lots of things. To top things off, during the critical period, several people will be out of the office and the Manager has been looking at the Webmaster as the "Senior guy" to handle things. The Webmaster is thinking of calling in sick, that his car has 4 flat tires, the engine has siezed and he has no power to work from home. The Webmaster is back in the office of his Real World Job and frankly is much happier. Currently, there has been an average of four or five people in, which is cozy enough to get things done without the distractions of watching all the inappropriate things we like to do.(Basically, we're anti-woke) The Webmaster will be taking a week off in August, and SWMBO is planning a trip for the two of them to Rodents Island. It appears that most like working from home, but we'll see. The "Formal reopening" is scheduled for October. The Webmaster worked last weekend which is why this update is a day late. We actually had a number of rants come in for a change. We gather people were coming back after having digits reattached. The Webmaster has started returning to his Real World Office at his Real World Job, and while it's very quiet, his manager is also back. Since the two of them are of a like mind, (Sick, cynical bastards), they're doing just fine. The Anger Central Primary Dwelling has been overrun with rabbits. They've been digging up the property and the Webmaster has had enough. While he wold prefer to just shoot them, the city frowns on the use of RPG's in a tightly spaced neighborhood. He ended up getting a Havahart trap and setting it out. He caught something a couple fo days later, only it wasn't Bugs bunny's near do well nephew. It was a woodchuck. (Groundhog to the less rura out there) He took it to his real world ofice and released it there. Now the trap needs to be cleaned and reset, but the weather hasn't been coopoerating of late. It was just a "How are things going" deal, since we haven't been able to go into the office in over a year. Speaking of which, the Webmaster is planning to start going in to his office next week. The VP said it was fine and that the CEO, although the company is moving to a new "Work at home" structure, would prefer people come in. The Webmaster worked last weekend, which is why the update is late. He's also on vacation this week. SWMBO had planned on going to The Breakers in Rhode Island, however the garden is closed and that onbe of the things she wanted to see. (It's opening Wednesday) We had one rant that we checked carefully and decided not to post. Sorry, but we're not going to aid in assault and battery. He met with his team, and he feels that it wasgood. One member, a notorious Kool-ade drinker, wre a mask the entire time he was there. No one else bothered. The Webmaster wants to go back full time, but needs to find out if he can. One issue is that the company is going to go to a "Hotelling" model. You won't have an assigned cube, you will reserve one. His manager is already looking to have his cube removed from the system, and frankly so does the Webmaster. He has a custome setup that isn't replicable in other cubes. A year later, it was all over and Nazism was dead and buried, or so we thought. Who knew that it would rise again under the banner of the Progressive Liberal Democrat Party? We had 2 new rants come in, one a rather long one on former friends. Otherwise, it's been wuiet on this front. The Webmaster has been blogging away merrily, with 2 new posts yeterday regarding one of the dumbest members of the House of Representatives, Alexandria Occasional-Cortex. The first one was about the virtue signiling nitwit blaming President Trump for her grandmother's situation. It blew up in her face when people started raising money to aid her granny. The second one was how the family refused the money, deciding that letting granny live in poverty and squalor was better then accepting aid from Republicans and conservatives. The weather has decided to go full on summer and the Webmaster has the A/C units in and running. Finally, after more then a year, the Webmaster will be returning to his Real Workd Job's office to see all the people who works with for the first time in over a year. It's only for a day, and frankly there are some issues the Webmaster has with how management is running things internally. This is Memorial Day weekend, a time when we remember those who died protecting this country from enemies ben on destroying us. I'll leave any politics on this over on the Blog. We had one new rant come in and it tooks us a little time to figure out where to put it. We finally put it into Rude People. The weather is acting up again. Last week it hit 90 degrees. It's currently in the 40's and the Webmaster has actually turned the heaat on. Finally, the local mask mandates have finally been rescinded. As we've said before, posting here is an excellent substitute for a water tower and a rifle. Just don't make any threats. Well, summer seems to have arrived. The Webmaster actually had to install the cooling systems earlier then he had hoped, since temperatures are hitting the high 80's and low 90's now. The Webmaster is most unhappy. SWMBO is fully recovered now from her bout with the Wuhan Flu. She is currenlty on a spring cleaning jag and the Anger Central Primary Dwelling looks like a bomb went off in it as she goes through everytrhing to see what will be stored and what will be tossed. She plans to start looking for a new job in the next week or two. Until next time... Stay Angry! Greetings all. SWMBO is recovering from the Kung Flu. Her fever broke last week, after running around 100 for a good 7 days. She's still feeling the after effects but is getting better. The Webmaster was tested, and surprising him not at all, came back negative. The City Health department called rto inquire about things, which surprosed the Webmaster. It seems that SMBO's doctor notified the state of her positive test and then the city was notified. In standard bureaucratic competence, the state notified the city a week after SWMBO was diagnosed. The drone then made some "suggestions" to which the Webmaster readily agreed to, and then promptly ignored. In other news. SWMBO quit her job. We called the Human Resources person who onboarded her to make it all formal and whatnot. When asked by the HR person why she was leaving, SWMBO tore into her supervisor. Considering the bad blood between them, the Webmaster wasnt' surprised and helped clarify things for the HR person. It seems they have had a lot of people quit the department, some whjo had been there only a week or two, but none had called HR. A couple of hours later the former supervisor called in a panic trying to reach SWMBO, who refused to talk to her. The Webmaster suspects that the Human Resources department wasn't aware of the issues in that department. Not SWMBO's problem now. Once she fully recovers, she's going to start looking for a new job. We had one rant come in on macaroni salad. Otherwise it has been quiet here. The Webmaster is looking at the weather forcast and grumbling about putting the air conditioners in. (He has to work at home and his home office gets rather warm during the day) Hopefully his Real World Job will finally let people come back into the office. Until Next Time... Stay Angry! Greetings all. This is going to be short and sweet. The Angry Girlfriend, formally Mrs. Webmaster, has tested positive for our old friend, the Wuhan Flu. She has already seen a doctor but doesn't feel that she is gettng any better, so the Webmaster will be taking her to see the doctor again. (High feaver) The Webmaster is fine. He is going to have to get tested of course, but he suspects that he had the Kung Flu a year ago March, and his symptoms were similar to that of She Who Must Be Obeyed. We have a pretty god idea where she contracted it too. The intersting part is that she has been very militant in all the Kung Flu precautions and was scheduled to get her first vaccine shot last week. (Obviously didn't happen), The Webmaster has ben pretty comptemptous of the whole Panicdemic thing and has said so, repeatedly, on the blog. We had a couple of new posts come in, and a nice load of crap, aka spam. And the Webmaster has been playing on Baen's Bar. Talk about a time sink! The Barflies are gettng reacquinted, and we have heard that the slimy scumbag who caused the initial shutdown has started making threats again. Obviously, he hasn't learned, and The Bar is now cancel culture proof. We don't know what, if any, legal challenges are being undertaken against the progressive turd. That is up to Baen Publishing. Speaking of new modes of transportation, the Webmaster is very interested in the new Ford Bronco's, and has been looking at them on the Ford site. However, he might not be able to get one, if he so chooses, until next year. We have heard that they have over 200,000 units preordered. Greetings all and Happy Easter to you. It's been an interesting week here ar Anger Central. SWMBO, who has been looking at buying a new car in the Fall, decided to buy one this week. She is getting a Subaru Forester, and is also paying cash for it. She actually got a good deal on the new car, and a better then expected deal on her trade in, a 10 year old Honda Civic with a leaky transmission seal. (She got $5K for it and book value was $4K) She argued, haggled and started to leave the dealership for three hours last week before they agreed to her terms. It helped that it was the end of the month and the end of the quarter. (And she gave no quarter) The Webmaster worked on the back end, making sure the money was where it needed to be and that the insurance was all taken care of. Today, Sunday, she want to pick it up only to find out that the dealership was closed for Easter Sunday. She was rather angry, since she had an appointment to pick it up today. She will have to put it off until next weekend. The Webmaster will contact the insurance company to make sure the Honda is covered until it's dropped off. Over on the Blog, the Webmaster has been writing up a storm. There must be a bakers dozen posts waiting to go up. He has a habit of prewriting stories due to the contraints of his real world job. Add to that he finished his taxes, and as expected, he is once again chanting "I owe, I owe, it's off to the feds it goes!" SWMBO also filed her taxes, and she was getting a nice refund. However, she made the mistake of working in the People's Democratic Republic of Taxachusetts, and they are confiscating almost her entire refund check for their local pols, hacks and hangers on. Speaking of SWMBO, she got her first paycheck last week. She was a bit confused on the amount, however we dug into it and figured out it was for one week, not the two she has been working. SWMBO started her new job and we've been working to get her fully set up on the job's employee web site and other fun thngs. The Webmaster gave her a little present for her commute. her very own EZPass transponder. The Webmaster is also rather angry himself this week. A forum he likes to visit has been taken offline due to the lies of a whiny progressive. The forum is Baen's Bar, and we hope it comes back online ASAP. The whiny progressive has managed to kick over a hornet's nest, since many of the poeple on The Bar, will and are fighting back. The House Managers were stupid enough to try and present manufactured information as evidence, and the defense team tore them several new ones. It's been an interesting week here at the Anger Central Primary Dwelling. SWMBO has lined up a new job. She interviewed last week and an offer was made the next day. SWMBO is excited and nervous. She will be going to the new job Monday to fill out all the paperwork, provide proof of legal status, (Her green card) and set up her direct deposit of her paycheck, something she's never done before. Shes also going to get some nice benefits, althogh the health insurance isn't that great. He just dropped $2700 in repairs on the Anger Central Primary Transportation system. He's been noticing an issue with it for some time now and since it was due for the state inspection, asked the dealer to take alook. The prognosis? The steering system was in the process of collapsing. Well, at least he had the money available to pay for the bill. Being a cheap bastard does have it's advanatges. Last week, twe mentioned how the Webmaster's account on parler went bye bye when the company was murdered by Twitler, Goolag, Crapple and Amazon. We had an interesting missive come in from Pinterest last week. The Webmaster uses Pinterest primarily as a storage site for memes and what not that connect back to the Blog. He also tends to post links back to the Blog and has several folders set up for specific things. One of these is "Politcs" Well, Pinterst found something that they considered objectionable and they removed it. The problem here s, they never said what the actual problem was and provided no way for use to review, correct or complain about their decision. We're a bit concerned that the CommunNazis running Pinterest, (And they are San Francisco CommuNazis, the worst of the worst), might be pulling the plug. The card has been canceled and the charge reversed. He also spent several hours changing his auto-pay settings on several services. Once he gets his new card, he's going to have to change them again. We received some 5000 page views in a 24 hour period. We found out that Author Sarah Hoyt had linked a post we wrote regarding Governor Gavin Newsom and the rebellion taking place out in Kalifornistan, then posted it to Instapundit. On the Real World Job front, the Webmaster has received a small raise, which is better then the no raise he recieved last year. There have been some major changes within his Real World Company, many of them the Webmaster likes. We're also hiring big time, however, as per our policy, the neither the Webmaster or anyone else associated with Anger Central will discuss their actual places of employment ecept in the most general of terms. The Webmaster also had the last week of the year off, as comp time for working Christmas eve and Christmas Day. It's back to the salt mines tomorrow. So what is in store for 2021 for the Webmaster? Well bith he and the Angry Girlfriend are looking at getting new cars. The Angry Girlfriend wants to trade in her Honda for a Subaru, and the Webmaster is looking at the new Ford Bronco's when they are finally put on the market.
