For those who expect to get Social Security?

SURPRISE!! It’s going to go broke even sooner than we thought! For years, decades, the Democrats have always said that “There is no problem! It’s all a Republican lie!” Well the lie is on the other foot. Social Security will go broke by 2016.

Fox News posted the story last week, but the mostly Slimy Media didn’t cover it. Here are the details.

As President Obama faces pressure on the left to defend federal entitlement programs from the benefit cuts that the Republicans say are necessary to keep the programs solvent decades down the road, one part of Social Security could fall short of paying out full benefits within a few years — even while Obama is still president.

Naah, this isn’t possible. We should be fine. Now the grand kids are going to be screwed, but that’s not our problem. Or is it?

Over the long term, Social Security and Medicare have promised tens of trillions of dollars more in benefits than the nation can pay for under current policies. But Social Security’s disability trust fund is in even worse shape, and current estimates say by 2016 it won’t have enough money to pay full benefits.

Hey! I’ve been paying into that system for years! I want my money! You owe me! I don’t believe it’s going to go broke. It’s all a lie by those evil Republithugs. Our grate and powerful master, King Putt will guide us to Nirvana.

“That’s three years from now,” Jim Capretta of the Ethics and Public Policy Center said. “And given the president’s rhetoric and his posture, it’s quite clear that he has no intention of doing anything about it.”

And this surprises you why? Obama is the most corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical president ever. He will ignore anything that might go against what he wants. After all, it’s all about him now, isn’t it? Those useless little people? The death panels will take care of them.

The fiscal security of the disability trust fund got rapidly worse as the unemployment rate rose. The number of applications has almost doubled in the last 10 years, from 1.5 million a year in 2001 to more than 2.8 million a year in 2012.

Well THERE’S your problem. Thanks to Obama and the Progressive Liberal Democrats, we have an economy that is close to depression levels. What a surprise that Social Security is out of money. No one is paying into it. Well, not that things are being explained to Il Douche, I’m sure it’s the number one thing to do on his list…after he gets back from his next vacation.

Obama has said little about how he would fix the fund’s finances.

“President Clinton talked about ‘mend it, don’t end it,'” Nicholas Eberstadt of the American Enterprise Institute said. “To judge by (Obama’s) remarks, there’s nothing that needs mending in our entitlement systems.”

So the cokehead in chief is, as usual, denying that there is a problem. Just how bad is this problem anyway?

In his first term, Obama took steps to make it easier for people to apply for disability payments, but nothing was changed to help the program pay even bigger bills as it accommodated more beneficiaries.

Yeah, right. He didn’t want to fix the problem, he decided to make it worse and as usual, lie about it.

Even so, Obama took a swipe at Republicans in his inaugural address by saying, “the commitments we make to each other — through Medicare, and Medicaid, and Social Security — these things do not sap our initiative; they has strengthen us.”

Isn’t that what the old Greek Government said? You know, the one that spent Greece into indentured servitude to the Germans? So what are the Republicans saying?

If we don’t work together to strengthen our entitlement programs, they will go bankrupt,” Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said in a floor speech. “Automatic cuts will be forced on seniors already receiving benefits, rendering worthless the promises that they built their retirements around.”

Will go bankrupt? They went broke long ago. Congress has been looting the Social Security system for decades. Now the chickens are coming in for a landing. And the biggest chicken is still in denial.

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, however, has argued that entitlement programs are much stronger than Republicans portray them to be, partly because of measures contained in Obama’s health care law.

Under that law, “savings from cutting wasteful spending and fraud will extend the solvency of the Medicare trust fund by an additional eight years,” Reid said in October in a Washington Post op-ed.

So sayeth the man who hasn’t passed a budget in 4 years. Reid is an idiot, a crook and a total failure. He is a typical democrat. He only cares about three things. His seat in the Senate, absolute power, and money in his own pocket.

Now the conspiracy minded would say this was all a plot by Obama and the Democrats. Utterly bankrupt the country, say “Free Enterprise is a failure!” Blame the Republicans for everything and turn the United States into a socialist, totalitarian one party state. I don’t subscribe to that. It would mean the democrats are for more competent then they actually are.

The Social Security system was never meant to survive, and certainly not be expanded to the levels it has been over the decades. When it was first created, FDR and his cronies knew it would collapse eventually. Since they didn’t plan on being around when it did, and it was a way to buy votes, they rammed it through. Now the collapse is beginning.

My guess is the morons in Washington will try again to go after all the 401K and IRA accounts out there. That’s trillions of dollars for them to waste, and the Progressive Liberals have been salivating over it for years. If given half a chance, they will seize it and “Promise” that this fixes Social Security forever.

And then they will be dragged out of Congress, tarred, feathered and hanged.
