Taliban violently arguing over leadership

Greetings one and all. It seems that the Taliban is having some minor management issues of late. They’ve been having a problem with longevity of course. Many retired due to ill health brought on by Hellfire missiles.

Now it seems that the HR department is having some discussions over which of the many goat shaggers available would be the best for the new management positions now open. Apparently, their choices have not been popular with the Unions and…well, here’s what Fox News has to say:

Taliban insurgents loyal to rival leaders have been fighting in a southeastern province of Afghanistan, where about 50 men on both sides have been killed in two days, an Afghan official said Sunday.

Fighters in a breakaway faction led by Mullah Mohammad Rasool have been joined by ISIS militants, according to Mohmand Nostrayar, governor of the Arghandab district of Zabul province. Rasool was elected “supreme leader” of the Taliban last week by a faction that does not support Mullah Akhtar Mansoor, who assumed power after the death of Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar.

And what was the response? Let’s just say that Mikhail Kalashikov’s finer products were significant in the protests over the vote.

Analysts have long pointed to divisions within the Taliban, but this is the first time a rivalry has burst into the open.

Might I suggest that we send over Secretary of State Kerry? I’m sure, with his well known skills at negotiations, the Taliban will have a solution in no time.
