Minnesota liberal says ISIS isn’t evil

Good day all. I don’t know what it is with Minnesota. There are way to many moonbats up there. In this case, we have a Democratic-Farmer-Labor party backed politician who tweeted out that ISIS isn’t necessarily evil right after they slaughtered 120+ people in Paris.

double-facepalm

The DFLer in question is Dan Kimmel and he was running for a seat in the Minnesota state legislature when he sent out the tweet. Needless to say, it went over like a lead balloon. Here are the details from the StarTribune:

A Burnsville DFLer’s campaign for the state House abruptly ended Sunday morning within hours of him posting on social media that ISIS “isn’t necessarily evil” and is “made up of people doing what they think is best for their community.”

The Stupid

The Twitter posting Saturday by Dan Kimmel, coming as the world’s emotions remain raw from Friday’s terror attacks in Paris, brought swift rebuke from others on Twitter. House Minority Leader Paul Thissen, DFL-Minneapolis, called for Kimmel to give up his campaign.

Which is exactly what this moron has done.

I’m folding up the campaign tent,” Kimmel told the Star Tribune. He later issued a written apology and called his tweet “stupid,” adding that it’s probably best for him to “shut up” for the time being.

What is it with Progressives? Are they so brain dead that even when hit in the back of the head with a Clue x 4 they still refuse to acknowledge pure evil when they see it? People like this barking Moonbat would probably say “Oh it was just a few bad eggs. The Nazi’s aren’t all bad” right after touring Auschwitz.

Kimmel said in the interview that the posting “was not interpreted as I intended. It was so badly misinterpreted.” He added that he was dropping out of the race “to remove the ick” from his party.

Remove the “Ick” from the party? Ick? What is he, five years old or something?

full retard

Kimmel, 63, tried to explain himself, posting in a follow-up, “I deplore evil acts of ISIS. I do not defend their acts.” Kimmel’s tweets also were posted on his campaign’s Facebook page. In further elaboration on Sunday, Kimmel wrote on his campaign’s website, “My tweet last evening was in response to a statement made during the candidate debates, not in response to the activities in Paris. It was poorly worded and did not convey my intent.

holes

Keep digging dumbass.

Kimmel added that he wants to “apologize to the volunteers and contributors who have put so much time, effort and money into my campaign. … I will do everything I can to help resolve the issue: most likely the best thing for me to do is shut up. The tweet was stupid. I’m sorry.”

Well, at least he had the common sense to give up his campaign. I suspect the only votes he would have gotten would have been from the 5-10% of the DFL’s who are even more delusional than he is. Or he might have been trying for the ISIS vote. Minnesota has the dubious distinction of sending the most ISIS recruits to the Middle East than any other state in the union. Why? Most of them are recent Somali Islamic refugees that the Progressives have allowed into the country and the idiots in the Minnesota Government have allowed into their state.

headdesk

Good riddance to this blithering boneheaded moron.
