Obama threatens States over refugees

Good day all. Recently, King Putt announced he was going to admit some 10,000 potential Muslim terrorists into the United States, as well as a whole lot more in the next year or so.

Needless to say, after Paris, most of the State Governors weren’t to thrilled with the idea of unvetted potential, (Actually probable) Islamic Terrorists coming into their states. Many flat out refused to allow it and several have issued an executive orders denying services to these people along with preventing them from coming in to the states in the first place.

Der Fubar is not amused and along with his usual statements of contempt for anyone who disagrees with him, is now threatening states who oppose him. Here are some of the details from Breitbart:

The Obama administration has warned states to comply with federal efforts to resettle Syrian refugees in communities around the U.S. or else find their states subject to enforcement action. In a letter this week, the Office of Refugee Resettlement threatens states concerned about resettling Syrians with punitive responses if they refuse to accept the refugees. ORR explains that states may not refuse ORR-funded benefits for refugees on the basis of religion and national origin.

And what is the Office of Refugee Resettlement going to do about it?

Accordingly, states may not categorically deny ORR-funded benefits and services to Syrian refugees,” ORR Director Robert Carey wrote in the letter. “Any state with such a policy would not be in compliance with the State Plan requirements, applicable statutes, and their own assurances, and could be subject to enforcement action, including suspension and termination.”

So, if I read this correctly, the Federal Government will shut off all federal funds to that state? They might want to rethink that plan. Of course, thinking isn’t high on the list of accomplishments for the Statists in Obamaland.

The agency also pointed to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, prohibiting discrimination for federally funded assistance benefits. Refugees are immediately eligible for welfare and other benefits upon admission to the U.S.

Thus, it is not permissible to deny federally funded benefits such as Medicaid or [Temporary Assistance for Needy Families] to refugees who otherwise meet the eligibilities requirements,” the letter reads. “ORR is committed to ensuring that all refugees receive assistance and services vital to achieving their potential in the United States and becoming self-sufficient, integrated members of our communities.”

I don’t think the Civil Rights Act covers the civil rights of declared enemies of the United States who consider themselves at war with everyone not Muslim. Of course, the ORR couldn’t care less about the safety of Americans.

ORR acknowledged in its letter the concerns dozens of governors and lawmakers have raised about the potential for terrorist to infiltrate the refugee process, be placed in their states, and threaten their constituents.

ORR is aware that state and local leaders, including some governors, have expressed concern about the resettlement of Syrian refugees in their states. In light go these concerns, we note that the resettlement process begins with the work of our federal agency partners in screening and vetting refugees,” Carey wrote.

And as we are well aware, the screening process is nonexistent. If you look at the “refugees” storming into Europe, you’ll see most of them are men of military age with very few families or women with children. We’ve also seen what happens with so called vetted refugees from Somalia. Most of them ended up in Minnesota and dozens of them have gone to the Middle East and joined ISIS.

As to the threats to the states, good luck with that. The states have just about had it with the Obama regime and if they attempt to carry out their threats, they could find themselves with a full blown constitutional crises rivaling what led to the Civil War. Congress is already slamming Obama over this latest threat to the sovereignty of the states.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) slammed the Obama administration for its aggressive stance toward concerned states. “While the United States has the most generous refugee system in the world, the American people are rightly concerned about admitting Syrian refugees and the impact it would have on the safety of their families and neighbors,” Goodlatte said in a statement. “In light of these concerns, the majority of state governors have taken positions that reflect the views of their residents.”

Let’s take a look at a few possibilities here, shall we? Assuming that Il Douche carries out his threats against the states and tries to force them to take in the refugees, what could happen? First he goes to one of his judges and has them issue on order. Then the governors tell that judge that they will not comply. What then? How will the courts respond? By sending in federal agents?

Good luck with that. This isn’t the civil rights movement of the 50’s and 60’s, where most people agreed with the government. This time most people don’t. Obama orders in Federal Agents and they could find themselves facing state police, state militia, (Who are not under federal control), and even national Guard troops acting under orders of the state governor. Obama would, of course immediately federalize the guard, but that could backfire if the guard units refuse the order. This could lead to an actual shooting incident.

That scenario, of course, would probably be the worst case. Another possibility would be the governors, if Obama went down the road of cutting funds off to the states, contacting their states congressmen, (House and Senate), and demanding that Obama be removed from office. Considering that there are several Democrat governors who are also opposing Obama, this would put more than a few of the PLFD’s in a bind. Back Obama over their own states or actually back their states and constituents who don’t trust Obama on this subject? If they backed Der Fubar, the odds are that most of them would be voted out in the next election.

Chesterton-Card

None of this will mean much when we get hit by ISIS. You will notice I didn’t say “If” we get hit by ISIS. Thanks to that SCoaMF and his willing accomplices in the Democrat Party, it’s almost a certainty we will be hit. The only questions will be, when, how hard, and how many people are killed. When it happens, the some of the States will probably begin rounding up the refugees and non-citizen Muslims and putting them into camps, both to protect their citizens as well as to protect the Muslims from lynch mobs.

Obama’s actions and his threats against the States will backfire on him, and in ways none of us can realistically foresee. Obama is delusional if he thinks he can threaten the governors who oppose him. Governor Abbot of Texas, for one, is all set to tell Obama to pound sand. Obama is setting this country for a crises not seen in 160 years. The only question is, is he doing it because he is a monomaniacal moron bent on destroying the United States, or is he just plain to stupid to understand what is going on?
