Pope Francis refuses to understand Islamic Terror

Good day all. Over the Easter Weekend, Pope Francis, in response to the Brussels terror attack, along with the genocide being conducted by Muslims, led by ISIS, against anyone who isn’t Muslim, came up with a really dumb idea.

The-Good-Idea-Fairy-3

He said the best way to fight terrorism is with “Weapons of Love.”

double-facepalm

Pope Francis has managed to seriously antagonize millions of Catholics with his Liberation Theology and complete cluelessness on how the world works. This is just the latest idiocy from him. Here are some of the details from Reuters:

Pope Francis urged the world in his Easter message on Sunday to use the “weapons of love” to combat the evil of “blind and brutal violence”, following the attacks in Brussels.

I will grant that this is all part of the Christian “Turn the other Cheek” belief structure. It also completely misses what the goals of Islam are, one of which is to wipe out the various Christian religions along with the Jewish religion. Once they finish that up, then they are going to move on to the eastern style religions such as Hindu, Sikh, Shinto, Buddism, etc.

In his traditional, twice-yearly “Urbi et Orbi” (to the city and the world) message, he spoke of violence, injustice and threats to peace in many parts of the world.

“May he (the risen Jesus) draw us closer on this Easter feast to the victims of terrorism, that blind and brutal form of violence which continues to shed blood in different parts of the world,” he said, speaking from the central balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica.

He mentioned recent attacks in Belgium, where at least 31 people were killed by Islamist militants, as well as those in Turkey, Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, and Iraq.

“With the weapons of love, God has defeated selfishness and death,” the leader of the world’s 1.2 billion Roman Catholic said from the same balcony from where he first appeared to the world on the night of his election on March 13, 2013.

headdesk

I’m sorry, but Pope Francis seems to have drunk deeply from the Progressive Kool-Ade. He also seems to have forgotten the lessons of history with regards to the goals of the Islamic world, and that the Crusades, initiated by Pope Urban II in response to centuries of attacks by the Islamic world. (Among many reasons of course)

In other parts of his address, Francis expressed the hope that recent talks could resolve the conflict in Syria in order to end the “sad wake of destruction, death, contempt for humanitarian law and the breakdown of civil concord”.

That only works when all parties actually have any interest in a solution. The only solution by ISIS is unconditional surrender, conversion to their version of Islam and submission to Sharia law.

He urged Europe “not to forget those men and women seeking a better future, an ever more numerous throng of migrants and refugees – including many children – fleeing from war, hunger, poverty and social injustice.”

Europe has had it with these so called “Refugees.” These people will not abide by the laws of the countries that let them in and are trying to force Sharia law on them. Perhaps the Pope might take note that these “refugees” are men of military age?

I’m sorry, but when the Collage of Cardinals selected the current pope, they really screwed the pooch. His, for lack of a better term, antics, are an actual threat to the very existence of the western world and to the church itself. Now for the due diligence.

I am Roman Catholic, but haven’t been in a church, except for weddings and funerals, in decades. Honestly, I have some issues with the Church, *cough* Cardinal Bernard Law *cough* but even I can see that what this pope is doing bodes ill for the Church and the entire world. I hope he comes to his senses before cities in the west go up under mushroom clouds, such as Rome.
