That his reign of error ends in a few weeks. Good day all. Barack Obama doesn’t seem to understand that his days with a pen and a phone are just about over. He is continuing his “work” of destroying the United States economy.
His most recent assault on freedom common sense and the economy occurred in Alaska when he, with the stroke of a pen, signed an executive order banning all off shore drilling in Alaska. Here are the details from The Washington Times:
President Obama used his executive authority Friday to close more than 40,000 square miles of Alaska’s coast from oil and gas leases.
The president’s order covering the waters offshore of Nome and surrounding St. Lawrence Island also create a 112,300-square-mile area, named the Northern Bering Sea Climate Resilience Area, where a task force will be required to help coordinate federal activities “focusing a locally tailored collection of protections related to oil and gas, shipping and fishing,” the White House said.
A task force? And where will this task force come from? Who is going to appoint the members? Where is the budget going to come from? I gather you haven’t figured out that in a few weeks you will be history and your pen & phone will be confiscated.
The move comes one day after Alaska’s congressional delegation sent Mr. Obama a letter objecting to the closing of offshore waters from future oil and gas leases.
“The governor of Alaska, the leadership of the North Slope and northwest Arctic boroughs, the majority of the tribal leadership representing Alaska natives who live in the Arctic, a supermajority of the members of the Alaska state legislature, and an overwhelming majority of the Alaskan people also oppose the withdrawal of acreage in these areas,” wrote Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan, and Rep. Don Young, all Republicans.
And Obama’s answer to this? It was about what you would expect coming from this Stuttering ClusterF**k of a Miserable Failure.
The White House said the Northern Bering Sea Climate Resilience Area will focus “locally tailored” protections on marine resources. The area supports the annual migration of bowhead and beluga whales, Pacific walrus, seals and migratory birds.
Now here’s what will happen come January 21st, 2017. Newly sworn in President Donald Trump will have a binder full of Executive orders that he will be signing. A large number of these will be Executive Orders repealing the Executive Orders signed by King Putt.
I have no doubt that this most recent order will be in that stack. All Obama has done is show what a useless, worthless president he was. It will be a decade or two before the full understanding of his incompetence is known, but for me, and many others, The Obama Administration will always be one of the darker periods in American History. I think the Alaskans will agree with me.
