The Battle of Berserkeley

Good day all. It’s beginning to look like Berkeley, or as it’s becoming know as, Berserkeley, is becoming the battleground between the hard left and the Trump supporters. So far, things aren’t looking to good for the Progressive side.

The assaults against people supporting Donald Trump began when it looked like he was actually going to win the nomination. We had riots in Chicago that forced then candidate Trump to cancel an event due to safety reasons.

As the final campaign ramped up between Donald Trump and Felonia von Pantsuit, the physical violence by the Progressive Democrats increased. Since the crushing defeat of Felonia, the assaults have gotten worse with reports that police in Blue cities, such as Beserkeley, being ordered, for all intents and purposes, to stand down.

This has led to the Trump supporters deciding that they have no choice but to defend themselves against the “Ever so peaceful” Social Justice Warriors and Progressive Liberal Democrats. Now the Police are starting to step in since they know that the Trump people will literally pound the “ProgNazi’s” and “Libtards” into the concrete. Here are the details of the latest battle from the L.A. Times:

Hundreds of pro-Trump demonstrators and counter-protesters clashed Saturday at a “Patriots Day” rally in Berkeley, the third time the groups engaged in violent confrontations on city streets in recent months. Fistfights broke out near Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park, where Trump supporters had scheduled a rally. Fireworks and smoke bombs were thrown into the crowd, and a few demonstrators were doused with pepper spray.

Notice that the “Journalist”, (As opposed to an actual reporter), doesn’t mention who was using the pepper spray or lobbing the firecrackers? That usually means it was started by the Progressive Democrats and the L.A. Times doesn’t want to say so for political reasons.

About 250 police officers were deployed to the scene by mid-afternoon after officials sought assistance from the neighboring Oakland Police Department.

Someone in city hall figured out that the times have changed and unless they wanted the emergency rooms flooded with broken Libtards, they had better do something.

Twenty-one people were arrested, including some on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to Officer Byron White of the Berkeley Police Department. Eleven people were injured with at least six taken to a hospital for treatment, including one stabbing victim.

Again, notice that there is no mention of who was arrested? From what I’ve read in other news services and blogs, it looks like it all those arrested were the Anti-Trump protesters and the Pro-Trump people stood back and let the police handle things, standing by to break heads only if the ProgNazi’s broke through the police lines.

Stewart Rhodes, founder of the citizen militia group known as the Oath Keepers, said he came from Montana with about 50 others to protect Trump supporters. They were joined by bikers and others who vowed to fight members of an anti-fascist group if they crossed police barricades.

“I don’t mind hitting” the counter-demonstrators, Rhodes said. “In fact, I would kind of enjoy it.”

But Rhodes credited Berkeley police for new tactics that mostly kept the two sides apart and “our side chilled and relaxed,” though sporadic fights broke out among both groups throughout the morning and afternoon.

AJ Alegria, 31, of Sacramento said he also came to Berkeley to help defend Trump supporters. He said he pursued a counter-demonstrator down a side street and found himself surrounded by a dozen protesters in black masks who he said attacked him with sticks and pepper spray.

“These people create violence all the time… somebody has to stand up to them,” said Alegria, who was injured in the fight. He was treated by Trump supporters who bandaged his head, washed off the pepper spray and gave him encouragement, saying, “You’ve earned your stripes, bro.”

The story goes on and on with reports from both sides. There are a couple from the Left side who thought that it was going to be the typical unicorn fart sniffing drum circle protest. If that had been the case, then the Trump supporters would have ignored them or just poked fun at them.

The problem here is that we’re seeing professional agitators, some of them paid, showing up to start fights. In the past, they got away with it, now they’re facing people who know how to fight back and are quite willing to do so if needed. This is a new experience for the Ever so Peaceful Social Justice Warriors.

However, in spite of all this, there was one person who acted as Switzerland. She remained neutral. As far as she was concerned, both sides money was good.

A single vendor showed up Saturday to sell organic produce. “Rain or shine or fascism, we will be here,” said a young woman operating the cash register.

Dave Gottfried, 58, a self-employed Berkeley artist, passed “empathy kisses,” chocolate candy, out to both sides. He had hoped to “show empathy is the beginning of understanding.”

Allow me to take a guess at the responses. The Pro-Trump people thanked you and the Anti-Trump people demanded you give them more. Here’s the problem that Comrade Gottfried isn’t seeing. Politically, I think it’s safe to say he’s on the far left of the political spectrum. I also suspect that he isn’t interested in beating people up who disagree with his world view. He is in the minority of the Progressive Democrat Party.

The majority of the hard left Progressive Democrats are totalitarian in their world view, although they can’t see it. They have no problem using force, preferably government force to get their way. The conservative and pro-Trump people tend to be a “Live and let live, and leave me the Hell alone” side of things.

Since most Americans tend to be in the “Live and let live, and leave me alone” camp, they have been rejecting the modern Democrat Party’s plans for the country. They’ve been going to the polls and, in most cases, voting out the Progressive Liberal Democrat office holders. This has angered the Progressives Liberals and their big money supporters, (*cough* George Soros), and they are the ones pushing for violent riots, and attacks against those who support President Trump.

The people on the right of the political spectrum are, in general law abiding and willing to take a lot of abuse. However, there comes a point when they won’t take it any longer, and that point has been reached. This is what’s happening in Beserkeley. The Trump supporters are quite willing to let the other side rant and rave, since they believe in Free Speech. They are also prefer to let the police handle the Libtards and Prognazi’s who come spoiling for a fight. (Generally thinking the Trump people will back down or avoid a physical confrontation)

Now, when the Progressive get through the police lines, provided the police are allowed to set them up, they are finding that instead of backing down as they have in the past, these people are now fighting back and they are not holding back. If the Progressive Liberal protesters don’t learn and pull back from their violent tactics, they are going to find out just how violent the people on the right can be when pushed to far. Remember Libtards, the people you are attacking are also the ones with all the guns. Think about what that means, if you are actually capable of thought.
