Good day all. The Democrat party is STILL in denial over the rejection of Felonia von Pantsuit and their progressive, totalitarian agenda. The Progressive Liberal Democrats think that they hold all the cards.
Just how delusional are they this week? Now they are telling President Trump that he doesn’t have any leverage, that they, the Democrats do. Here are the details of the depths of their delusions from the Washington Post:
Senior House Democrats held a conference call on Thursday night with members of the Democratic caucus, and according to a Dem aide, one of the key conclusions reached on the call was this: In the battles over Obamacare, Trump’s border wall, and funding the government, Democrats — not the White House — must behave as the ones with the leverage.
As the 100-day mark of the Trump presidency approach, panic has set in among aides who fear that the press coverage will brutally (and accurately) reflect his historical lack of accomplishments. This is leading to questionable decisions on their part that could prove destructive to the country — and could backfire and make the 100-day mark coverage even more brutal for them. But this worry should also be seen as handing more leverage to Democrats in the near term. Dems seem both aware of this and inclined to act accordingly.
A few things here. First, the Washington Post is so in the tank with the Democrats that they make the old Soviet Union’s news organs, Pravda and Izvestia look like the height of journalistic independence. Second, the Washington Post refuses to acknowledge any of Trump’s actual accomplishments. The Ryancare mess can be laid directly at the feet of Speaker of the House Paul, “Eddie Munster” Ryan.
What has been actually happening is the reign of terror by the regulatory agencies is starting to come to an end, and the entire “The Russians own Trump!!!” meme has, as expected, detonated in the faces of the left. What’s actually coming out in these “Investigations” is just how corrupt the Obama regime was.
Currently, the Democrats are working to shut down the government, just as they always do when they don’t get their way. The last time this happened, President SCoaMF and Dingy Harry Reid decided to inflict as much pain on the American people as possible. President Trump has offered a few “Carrots” with the proviso that the border wall will be funded and built.
On the Thursday night conference call, House Dems resolved not to back down in the face of any such pressure, according to a readout of the call provided by a Democratic aide.
We have the leverage and they have the exposure,” Dem leader Nancy Pelosi told people on the call, per the aide, adding that, because Republicans are in the majority, keeping the government funded will be seen as “their responsibility.”
Pelosi is an utter moron of course. What they are not seeing is that President Trump and the GOP, unlike the Party of Tyranny and Slavery Democrats, don’t want to inflict pain on the American people. What will happen is all those federal bureaucrats who aren’t deemed “Critical” to the running of the United States will be sent home. Guess what Democrats? They might never be brought back. IN case it’s slipped what passes for your minds, one of President Trump’s goals is to slash the size of Government.
The Republicans are somewhat fractured, of this there is no doubt. You have basically two groups. Those that came in under the Tea Party auspices and those who are members of the Beltway Uniparty. (McStain, Ryno and Grahamnesty are some of those who come to mind) However, unlike the Democrats, the Republicans control most of the country, and President Trump does something both sides have a problem doing. Listening to the voters and working hard to keep his promises. The Republican Establishment is slowly beginning to understand this. The Democrats? For them it is and always will be “Party uber Alles.”
