Good day all. Well, it seems that Al Gore is running a bit low on donations to his Church of Global Warming and Climate Change. He’s now demanding, yes demanding that his church be given $15 TRILLION dollars.
Gee, Doctor Evil only asked for a billion…And sharks with laser beams on their heads. Whatever you say about that corrupt two legged turd, he does think big. Here are the details from The Daily Caller:
A group of executives who want to fight global warming has published a new report calling for countries to spend up to $600 billion a year over the next two decades to boost green energy deployment and energy efficiency equipment.
The Energy Transitions Commission’s (ETC) report claims “additional investments of around $300-$600 billion per annum do not pose a major macroeconomic challenge,” which they say will help the world meet the goals laid out in the Paris agreement.
Allow me to translate. “We’re unable to make a dime in the Private Sector with our phony carbon credits and overpriced “Green” technology. We also have been unable to really bury all the stories of our failed technology, not to mention that the energy costs from our windmills and solar panels are unaffordable to most people.” So who makes up this fake commission anyway?
ETC is made up of energy executives, activist leaders and investment bankers, including former Vice President Al Gore, who would no doubt get a piece of the trillions of dollars they are calling for.
ETC’s goal is to “accelerate change towards low-carbon energy systems that enable robust economic development” and limit global warming.
No, the goal is to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else.
ETC’s report comes out as the Trump administration considers whether or not to stay party to the Paris agreement, which went into effect in 2016.
And the usual suspects are trying to get President Trump to go back on his promise.
European countries and energy companies have been pressuring the White House to stay party to Paris.
And the reason is, to wreck the United States and turn it into another Europe. A basket case bordering on collapse thanks to people like the Energy Transitions Commission. (I wonder, is this the successor to the Trilateral Commission that the Tin Foil hat brigades were always on about?)
Royal Dutch Shell, for example, aided the pro-Paris faction of the Trump administration by publicly supporting continued U.S. participation in the United Nations deal. Shell is a major producer of natural gas, which the company bills as a way to fight global warming.
Actually, it’s another way for them to increase profits at the expense of the average person. Now I don’t have any problem with a company making money, and currently, natural gas is the way to go in most cases. However, what Shell and these other companies are looking for is a repeat of the Obama administration, and to some extent, the Bush administration. More and bigger crony capitalism. In other words, get the government to destroy their competition, (Coal), and force people to buy product they might not want.
What these morons don’t understand is that the Paris treaty will destroy them as well. If you follow the link above to Bloomberg:
“The Paris agreement is designed to undermine American self government over the long term because the whole point of it is to put the United States inside a political pressure cooker” and influence domestic energy policy, said Marlo Lewis, a senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. “The coal companies and oil and gas companies that are flirting with the Paris agreement don’t understand the existential threat that they’re buying into.”
Of course they don’t. They’re morons who only think a year ahead at most, and generally never much more than the next quarter. This is just a repeat of what happened with the Insurance companies when Obamacare was shoved down the People’s throats. Now they can’t get away from it fast enough, a far cry when they were some of the biggest boosters of that load of crap. Getting back to the frauds at the ETC:
ETC says global carbon dioxide emissions need to be cut from 36 gigatons to 20 gigatons by 2040, and the world needs “net zero” emissions after 2050 to keep global temperatures from hitting 2 degrees Celsius by 2100.
To meet that goal ETC claims the world needs “investment in renewables and other low-carbon technologies some $6 trillion higher ($300 billion per year); while the largest required increases – of almost $9 trillion ($450 billion per year) – will be in more efficient energy saving equipment and buildings.” That’s a $15 trillion price tag to theoretically limit future global warming.
And the whole Global Warming scam has, except for the true believers, blown up in their faces. As I’ve written about in the past, the so called “Climate Scientists” as opposed to real climatologists, have been caught again and again fabricating their data.
Then there is the little problem of what people see. Deep snow and rough winters. Now no one believes these frauds any more and the acolytes of the Church of Global Warming and Climate Change are growing desperate. They see that the gravy train is about to come to an end.
ETC says fossil fuel investment would need to be cut $3.7 trillion over this time, and that’s on top of fundamentally altering their economic systems to make green energy cost-competitive with fossil fuels in some parts of the world by 2035.
And there it is. They want a nice, modified Soviet style, top down government system, all designed to protect the ruling elite’s power, money and influence. They really don’t believe in Global Warming, with the exception of a few really stupid ones, understand that CO2 isn’t a problem. CO2 is actually a gas vital to the survival of the planet. Why is this? Because plants like CO2. They use it for food. And do you know what they do with that CO2 after they eat it? They crap out Oxygen. You know, that gas we need to…Not die?
They also do not take into account the natural world. One volcano blowing it’s top pours far more CO2 into the atmosphere then all the cars, power plants and people combined. What do they plan to do about that? Shove a giant cork into the volcanic vents?
Recently, I read somewhere, (No citations available. Sorry), that President Trump is thinking about submitting the Paris Treaty to the Senate for hearings. The idea is that the Republicans will read it, hold the hearings and then shoot it down. There is a good chance that a few Democrats, looking to keep their jobs in 2018, will also join them in turning this waste of paper and ink into landfill. We know what pushing a “Green Agenda” will cost this country. Millions of lost jobs and economic collapse. President Trump has no intention of allowing that to happen.
