Good day all. Last month, ABC Fake News “Investigative” correspondent, Brian Ross was sent on a nice, month long unpaid vacation for putting out a report that Robert Mueller had all the evidence he needed to Get Trump!

There was just a few teensy weensy problems with Ross’s report. It was completely wrong. Ross’s report, based on one “Anonymous” source, caused a 300+ point drop in the stock market. When the corrected information came out, the ABC management was furious. Their first order of the day, afer Ross was suspended for a month, was making sure that Ross would no longer have anything to do with President Trump, including filing any reports.
Last week, his suspension ended, but Ross was no where to be seen. Now we know what’s happened to the senior Fake News generator. He still has his title of “chief investigative correspondent”, but that’s about all he has. ABC News management has sent Ross to the news equivalent of Siberia. Here are the details from another generator of Fake News, CNN:
Brian Ross’s four-week unpaid suspension is over. He is coming back to ABC News — but not to his old job. His title will still be “chief investigative correspondent.” But he will be moving to Lincoln Square Productions, a separate unit of ABC that is based a few blocks away from the news division headquarters.
Ross and his longtime producer Rhonda Schwartz, ABC’s chief of investigative projects, will work on “long-term projects” like prime time documentaries, according to two sources with knowledge of the plan. He will also contribute to “20/20” and “Nightline.”
In other words, they will have an office, a telephone and a recommendation that it might be time to seek other opportunities…elsewhere.
Ross and ABC were widely criticized for mishandling the story. About 24 hours later, ABC said Ross was being benched for four weeks without pay.
Some ABC staffers privately said the network should go further and fire him.
And he should have been. What he did cost Americans billions of dollars, all due to his utter hatred of President Donald J. Trump and his humiliating defeat of Felonia von Pantsuit.
But Ross also had defenders in and around ABC. They said he made an honest mistake and should not be severely punished.

No, that wasn’t an honest mistake, it was blatant Fake News. An honest mistake would be if Ross had used named sources, and had gotten bad information. That does happen and people will generally be more forgiving. In this case, it was a single unnamed source who was reading a report over the phone to Ross, and who got a critical date wrong. He made no attempt to verify the information and instead just blasted it out there.
In a staff meeting after Ross was suspended, Goldston expressed “rage and disappointment and frustration” about the error.
Translation: Ross was stupid enough to get caught and now we need to cover ourselves before get fired by Disney management.
Goldston also said that Ross would no longer cover stories related to President Trump — an obvious demotion for Ross.

The four-week suspension ended on Thursday. But Fox News pointed out that he was not at work on Thursday, (January 4th), leading to fresh speculation about his future. One of the sources said there had been ongoing talks between Ross and Goldston about what the new role would be.
I think cleaning the bathrooms might be a good move, since he’s so good at throwing sh*t around.
The solution, Lincoln Square Productions, means that Ross will not be involved with live special reports, like the one that caused trouble for ABC last month, or with live coverage more generally, the source said. Lincoln Square Productions is ABC’s nonfiction production company. The group produces documentaries, special reports and other shows for ABC and other networks.
And that pretty much puts an end to Ross’s career. It would be one thing if he had wanted to move over there on his own, say to reduce his work load and move into semi-retirement. In this case, his utter hatred of President Trump, and his desire to do whatever it took to force President Trump out of office led him to take an unverified story and run with it. And now, Brian Ross’s career is toast.
