Slowly, the FBI swamp is draining away

Good day all. This came out a couple of weeks ago. It seems that most of the Obama FBI leadership is out or on it’s way out. They’re either resigning, being fired, or retiring.

The latest one to go is Bill Priestap. He’s now eligible for retirement and is pulling the ripcord on his federal golden parachute while he still can. Here are the details from Fox News:

Another top FBI official who helped oversee the Trump-Russia and Clinton email investigations is retiring, as the last traces of the bureau’s embattled leadership team that once stood under Barack Obama’s presidency disappear.

The official, Bill Priestap, will retire from his post as assistant director of the FBI’s counterintelligence division by the end of the year.

Assistant Director Bill Priestap became eligible to retire and has chosen to do so after 20 years of service,” an FBI spokesperson told Fox News on Wednesday.

Interesting. Normally, federal officials like to put in a full 30 years. When they do, their pension is much larger. I guess he’s seeing the writing on the wall and is planing to retire to a warm, sunny non-extradition retirement community.

Priestap, who participated in the bureau’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server and the FBI’s initial probe into Russian meddling and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates during the 2016 presidential election, has testified before Congress on multiple occasions regarding the bureau’s handling of both investigations.

Oh really? I find that very interesting.

His departure, which reportedly was unrelated to the controversies surrounding those investigations, is significant, as it marks the de facto end of the Obama-era leadership team — which has been steadily disbanding since the early months of the Trump administration amid a combination of firings and retirements.

Of course, completely unrelated. Sure, and I have a nice bridge in a Florida Swamp I want you to invest in. So, who are these pillars of justice that have joined Elvis and left the building?

Former FBI Director James Comey

Comey was fired by President Trump. Since his dismissal, many things have come to light regarding his mismanagement of the FBI, not to mention doing leaking sensitive information. He is available for prosecution.

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who was Comey’s No. 2 and tasked with leading the bureau upon his termination, was fired by former Attorney General Jeff Sessions in March, just days before he would have been eligible for a lifetime pension, after it was determined that he lied to investigators reviewing the bureau’s probe of Clinton’s server.

He’s also available for Prosecution at a future date.

Peter Strzok and Lisa Page

Nothing more needs to be said regarding these two. So utterly corrupt that any cases they’ve handled should be reviewed. I’m not sure if they will be available for prosecution at this time however.

James Baker

I don’t recall this one, but he left the same day as Lisa Page.

Baker, a top FBI lawyer, was reassigned in late 2017 as an adviser to current FBI Director Wray, after being the subject of a Justice Department investigation on the suspicion of leaking classified information about the salacious anti-Trump dossier to a journalist.

Uh huh. Yep, another Deep Stater who should be charged. I suspect they can’t prove it…yet.

James Rybicki, who served as chief of staff to Comey, left the FBI in January. He served as chief of staff to Wray in the first months of his leadership but left the bureau amid scrutiny over his role in the Clinton email investigation. Rybicki was not fired. Instead, his departure was “in the works for a while,” according to law enforcement sources.

Michael Kortan, assistant director of public affairs at the FBI, retired from his post in February.

Korton might actually have been an actual innocent bystander in all this. Of course, as part of the Public Affairs department, he was a professional liar. He just didn’t do it under oath. Then we have a bunch of minions that bailed out.

Josh Campbell, James Turgal, Greg Bower, Michael Steinbach, John Giacalone

Campbell went to CNN to make some fake news, Turgal is working for a Cyber Security company. (although, considering how the FBI handled the Felonia von Pantsuit email server issue, I’m not sure that company is getting it’s money’s worth)

Greg Bower, the FBI’s top congressional liaison, left the bureau in April, amid multiple congressional probes and inquiries into the FBI’s Clinton and Russia investigations.

Another one running for cover? Considering all the leaks that ended up in the hands of the CommuNazis on the various committees, perhaps he was liasoning a bit more then he should have. The last two, Michael Steinbach, the former head of the FBI’s national security division, and his predecessor John Giacalone have joined Elvis on his secret island.

The list of disgraced senior officials with the FBI and the DoJ calls out for a massive overhaul. For the FBI, it may be far to late to correct the issues and will require scrapping the agency. Keep the known honest agents, (There must be a few), the forensics labs, (Provided they’ve been cleaned up after their problems), and lay off the rest.

The damage done by Obama, Holder and Lynch can not be easily repaired. The only way the FBI can regain any semblance of credibility is for true justice to be served, and that means going after Comey, McCabe and any others that broke the law during and after the 2016 Presidential election.
