Good day all. Last week was the annual White House Correspondents dinner. Traditionally, it’s been used as an event where both presidents and journalfools can make fun of each other and try and get some laughs. This year, President Trump decided not to attend and told his staffers not to bother going either.
This set off the Beltway Uniparty Propaganda Corps. Instead of their usual run of bad jokes, they decided to say that since President Trump wasn’t attending so the could insult him, it was an attack on the 1st Amendment.
Usually, the Dinner brings in a comedian to lighten the mood. This year, they didn’t and instead went straight to paranoia and delusions. Here are some of the details from Grabien News:
For the first time in recent memory, the White House Correspondents Dinner did not have a comedian emcee its annual dinner. Instead, the president of the White House Correspondents Association, Olivier Knox, delivered a solemn address to open up the usually jubilant evening.
And what did this self important ass have to say?
Knox focused his remarks on the threat he said the White House is putting journalists under.
“I don’t want to dwell on the president,” Knox said while discussing President Trump. “This is not his dinner. It’s ours, and it should stay ours. But I do want to say this. In nearly 23 years as a reporter I’ve been physically assaulted by Republicans and Democrats, spat on, shoved, had crap thrown at me. I’ve been told I will never work in Washington again by both major parties.”
Really? How about some names and dates, or is this more of your Fake News?
“And yet I still separate my career to before February 2017 and what came after,” Knox continued. “And February 2017 is when the president called us the enemy of the people. A few days later my son asked me, ‘Is Donald Trump going to put you in prison?” At the end of a family trip to Mexico he mused if the president tried to keep me out of the country, at least Uncle Josh is a good lawyer and will get you home.”
First, the so called “Main Stream Media” has shown itself to be an “Enemy of the people” as well as the United States. As to denying you reentry into the United States? Hello, you are, sadly, American citizens. You can’t be stopped at the border and denied entry. If your son actually believed that could happen, it tells me just how you are raising him.
Journalists in the Trump era are under physical threat, Knox said somberly.
“I’ve had to tell my family not to touch packages on our stoop,” he told the crowd. “My name is on a statement criticizing the president for celebrating a congressman’s criminal assault on a reporter. I’ve had death threats, including one this week. Too many of us have. It shouldn’t need to be said in a room full of people who understand the power of words but fake news and enemies of the people are not punch lines, pet names or presidential. And we should reject politically expedient assaults on the men and women whose hard work makes it possible to hold the powerful to account.”
How may Journalfrauds are currently in prison right now under orders of President Trump? That would be a big fat ZERO. How many are being investigated with an eye to jailing them? To my knowledge, another big fat Zero. How many have had, under orders of President Trump, their computers hacked by the NSA? Again, to my knowledge, ZERO.
Now let’s go back a few years to a president you couldn’t wait to give a perform fellatio on, Barack Obama. How many Journalfools were targeted for arrest under his regime? At least one that I know of. (James Rosen) How many had their computers hacked by government agencies? At least one of them as well. (Sharyl Attkinson) The Obama regime was actively working to suppress any media investigations, (What few there were), into their incompetence, mismanagement and outright abuse of people’s civil and constitutional rights. President Trump is doing nothing more than engaging in his 1st Amendment right to call you moonbats out, and you can’t handle it.
Once upon a time we had these people called “Reporters.” They would go out, talk to people, observe and then report what they had found out. They didn’t editorialize in their stories, and if they did, their editors would remove it and call them on the carpet. Their job was to inform people to the best of their abilities.
Today, we have “Journalists.” These people do not, in general, investigate anything. They don’t like talking to people, and feel that it is their job to tell people what to think. The stories they write are just that. Stories. Fables. Fake News. Now we have a president who won’t put up with their lies, fraud and propaganda and calls them out on it, and they can’t handle it.
In what passes for their minds, these left wing loons think that ignoring them is a “Threat to the 1st Amendment and journalists!!” They believe that they are the “Special” people and that everyone must bow down to them including the President. George W. Bush would cave in to these clowns. Obama owned them body and soul. Donald Trump holds them in complete contempt and goes around them every chance he gets.
He doesn’t suppress them. He doesn’t arrest them, he actually makes himself available far more often then their beloved Obama. He just doesn’t put up with their crap. This is why the Mostly Stupid Media hates President Trump and will stop at nothing to get him. Thanks to the Internet, people now have far more sources of information then they did 30 years ago and can now look things up for themselves.
The White House Correspondents Dinner may have just reached a turning point. If current and future presidents just ignore the MSM, including not bothering with their annual group hug, then they may find that no one listens to their wisdom any longer. Why, these “Professional Journalists” might actually have to go out and get real jobs! I think the food services sector is looking for more help.
