Good day all. This is a basic technical update for those who follow this site, (All three of you), who may be using Mozilla Firefox.
You may see all your plugins, add-ons and themes suddenly be disabled. This is due to a massive screw-up by Mozilla. They forgot to update an SSL certificate and it expired. This caused all the plugins and add-ons to be disabled. There are details and update at Engadget.
As of 7:30 am Eastern United States Time, the new certificate had been rolled into place and is now taking effect. Our copies of Firefox are now returning to their previous state. I can confirm this. The copy I use has just returned to it’s previous state.
As backup browsers, we also use Google Chrome, (Which we don’t trust since, Goolglag) and Opera, (Which is mediocre). I’ve always liked Firefox and have it customized just the way I like it. To let a security certificate expire is the height of incompetence. Someone needs to be reassigned to the Mozilla janitorial services.
Thank you
