Good day all. Since we blew Iran’s terrorist general into tiny pieces, and Iran fired missiles at at our bases in Iraq, there have been protests staged in Iran against the United States and President Trump. Then, right after Iran fired badly aimed missiles at us, they accidentally blew a Ukrainian airliner out of the sky.
At first, they claimed it was a mechanical failure, until videos taken by people came out showing the plane burning as it went in. There were others showing surface to air missiles climbing out towards the airliner. The original blame for this was against President Trump. Yes, the Democrats and their propagandists at CNN actually blamed the shoot down on President Trump.
This quickly blew up in their faces since President Trump did not do as the Deep State Uniparty expected, and return fire on the Iranian missile sites. It soon became clear that some idiot in Iran made a bad mistake and ordered the airliner shot down, thinking it was an American bomber. Questions quickly arose in Iran and elsewhere on what they Hell they were thinking, letting a civilian aircraft take off in the middle of a military action.
Now the Iranian people are furious. Most of the people on that plane were Iranians, along with some Eurotrash, Ukrainians, Russians and I believe Canadians. They are now aiming their anger at the Mullahs running the country. President Trump has been sending out tweets supporting them and saying two things. Iran will never have nukes on Trump’s watch, and that the government should not use live ammunition on the protesters. This brings us to the Democrats.
The Progressives and Neever Trumper Uniparty RINOs have spent the last 10 days blaming President Trump for escalating tensions with Iran. They have all but announced that the Quds Force General was just a guy who did some things, completely ignoring the hundreds of Americans killed by him. They were fine when the protesters were shouting “Death to American and Death to Trump!” (There are a few in Congress who would love to join them) Then the Iranian protesters found out what actually happened to that plane and now they are going after the government. Interestingly, the Democrats have fallen silent. Here are the details from Fox News:
Democratic congressional leaders and presidential candidates who were unsparing in their criticism of President Trump for the escalation with Iran over the past two weeks largely have gone silent now that the protests on the streets of Tehran and beyond have turned their rage toward the regime — and not the Trump White House.
Even as videos emerged online Monday that purportedly show Iranian police and security forces firing live ammunition to disperse protesters, so far among the 2020 Democratic candidates only former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., have spoken out in support of the people.
Is Klobucher still running? Why? I’m surprised that Quid Pro Joe actually said anything in favor of the protesters. He’s fully on board with sending tons of cash to the Mullahs.
The protesters have railed against the government following the shoot-down of a passenger plane that the Iranian government initially denied involvement in — Tehran later admitted they downed the jet in a misfire during attacks against U.S. bases in Iraq, following Trump’s takedown of top Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
Meanwhile, President Trump has not been shy in announcing his support of the demonstrators. The Democrats? Their silence is deafening.
Trump has issued statements supporting the demonstrations, but his political opponents have been almost entirely silent — after earlier criticizing the Soleimani strike and in some cases even faulting Trump for the fatal plane crash.
Journalist Yashar Ali, who is of Iranian descent and has friends and family there, called out the left for being silent when it comes to the protests, in a viral Twitter thread about the situation.
“I’ve gone through some of the most active and prominent liberal Twitter accounts and none of them mentioned the Iran protests today,” Ali tweeted Sunday. “These same people were actively tweeting about wanting to avoid war and attacking Trump for his decision.”
Mr. Ali continued blasting away at the Left for their remarkable lack of concern for the Iranian people.
Ali continued, claiming that Trump’s critics have been using the situation in Iran to attack the president.
“In this context, Iranians are being used by certain people on the left (i didn’t say all) as a tool to attack President Trump. But these same people don’t seem to care to … support their right to protest?” he said.
Ali implied that because the protesters were criticizing their own leaders and not blaming President Trump, “it wasn’t worth it” for liberals to talk about them.
I won’t imply it, I’ll state it flat out. The Progressive Liberal Democrats so hate President Trump, that they will actively support our enemies. Now that the Iranian people are turning on their own government, again, well, as far as they’re concerned, it’s not their problem. The only exceptions have been Quid Pro Joe Biden and Senator Amy Klobucher. As for the rest?
Other high-profile Democrats, such as House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., and House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., have yet to make any statement regarding the protests.
Even San Fran Nan Pelosi was pushed to make a statement, and she waffled.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked if she supported the protesters during an interview with ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday, and she responded by claiming that there were “different reasons” for the protests, including opposition to the U.S., despite being informed otherwise.
“The protesters are protesting as I understand, this brand of protesters about the fact that that plane went down and many students were on that plane and these are largely students in the street,” Pelosi said. When host George Stephanopoulos told her that the protestors were demonstrating against their government for lying to them and that they were calling for death to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Pelosi replied, “Well, whatever it is.”
Pelosi then decided that doubling down on stupid was exactly the way to go.
She then went on to cite opposition to the U.S, stating that Iranians had protested against their leadership before, but that they “joined together” against the U.S. after Soleimani’s death, and that “there are different reasons why people are in the street.”
Then we have the response from the group of moonbats known as “The Squad.” Perhaps I should clarify. The lack of response from these terrorist supporting traitors.
The so-called “Squad” – freshman congresswomen Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass. and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. – has refrained from speaking about the protests, though Omar had previously expressed support for the Iranian people after U.S. forces carried out the airstrike that killed Soleimani.
“This is an opportunity to make sure that there is a face on every single Iranian who will be impacted if we continue to escalate the situation and find ourselves in war,” Omar told a reporter.
It’s going to be interesting to see of Omar holds on to her seat this November. I suspect that even if she wins reelection, she’s going to be facing some very pointed questions from law enforcement officials, and unlike the coup conspirators that tried to overthrow President Trump, these investigators are going to be very scrupulous in following the procedures, the laws and the Constitution, probably going far beyond what is required.
However, what all this shows is the utter contempt the Progressive Liberal Democrats show anyone who doesn’t support their views and actions. While the Iranians were dancing around chanting “Death to America!” the Democrats were just fine using them to bash President Trump. Now that they’ve turned and are actually thanking President Trump? it’s become “Iranian protesters? What Iranian protesters?
This just demonstrates how the Progressives, Liberals, Democrats, (But I’m repeating myself), don’t care about anyone or anything other then themselves and power. The oldest political party in the world has grown senile, much like the current leadership. It’s time for the party to just go away. I suspect that in the next few years, that just might happen, and we can thank Iranian and hong Kong Chinese protesters for that.
