Good day all. At the end of President Trump’s State of the Union address, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi dramatically tore up her copy of the speech. The idea was to show her contempt for President Trump. However, the whole thing has blown up in her face.
To begin with, that was a constitutionally mandated document that President Trump was required to present to her. In her hatred of President Trump, she destroyed an official document of the United States of America. The second problem was the optics. President Trump had used the speech to give shout outs to a number of citizens, such as a soldier who come home to his family and, thanks to President Trump, surprised them.
He honored a former Tuskegee Airman, who President Trump promoted to General, a long overdue honor. He called out to a little girl, telling her that she now had a scholarship to a great school. When San Fran Nan tore up the speech, she basically spit into the face of these people.
Pelosi has been getting slammed ever since, with memes and videos poking fun at her. As expected, the progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazis were not amused. San Fran Nan has been trying to spin her way out of this fiasco ever since. Now she has decided to blame the media for her mess. Here are the details from Town Hall:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made waves when she shredded President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address earlier this month. The next day we learned that she planned to make a scene, as evidenced by video footage. She confirmed her desire for attention during an exclusive interview with CNN on Saturday.
Are you giving a signal that the Democrats will fight back hard, that you will not be constrained by what you believe to be insurgent behavior on the other side, and that this is, you know, a time to go mano a mano?” CNN’s Christiane Amanpour asked.
“Let me say this: I had no intention of doing that when we went to the State of the Union. In fact, I was well into past the first third of it. I’m a speed reader so I was reading ahead so I knew what was there. I got past about a third of it and I thought, ‘This is terrible,'” Pelosi explained.
Speed read? I doubt that. I think you just glanced at it and then went into a dementia induced fugue state.
According to the speaker, she decided to put little tears in the areas of pages she wanted to remember. Except each page had something she thought was “rememberable.”
“I made a niche on a couple of pages thinking, ‘You ought to remember what was on this page, this page,’ then I realized most every page had something in it that was objectionable. So it wasn’t a planned thing, but it was —” she rolled her tongue in her mouth, clearly looking for words, before she changed the subject.
When you want to make a note on a page, you don’t put tears in it. You either fold the corner or mark it with a pen or pencil. You put the tears in it so you could be certain it would rip when you wanted it to. This was caught on video, which is why you now blame the media.
She then changed her narrative, saying it’s the presses fault that she had to resort to such actions.
“One of my disappointments is the fact that all we have done legislatively, whether it’s equal pay for equal work, raising the minimum wage, gun violence protection, issues that relate to our children, the list goes on, climate action now, we have very little press on it,” Pelosi stated. “And it seems if you want to get press you have to get attention. So I thought, ‘Well, let’s get attention on the fact that what he said here today was not true.'”
San Fran Nan had just seen her attempt to oust President Trump with her fraudulent Impeachment blow up in her face. The next day, the Senate acquitted President Trump of the phony baloney charges, which had the effect of making President Trump even more popular.
For 2 years, the Democratic CommuNazis have achieved…nothing. They have accomplished…nothing. San Fran Nan is beginning to understand that the election will be even worse then she thought. President Trump will be reelected, and she will have lost the house for the Democratic CommuNazis for the second time.
While it is unlikely she will be voted out of office, she will lose the gavel again, and more then likely, will be replaced as Minority leader. She will end her career being known as a complete and utter failure as Speaker of the House. It’s exactly what she deserves.
