About that Roger Stone conviction

Good day all. Recently, Roger Stone, who was part of the Trump campaign for a while, was convicted of obstruction of justice and perjury. Since the conviction, a number of interesting things have happened.

First, the Mueller prosecutors who brought the case told the Department of Justice they were going to ask for a couple of years. Then, in Court, they asked for up to 10 years, insuring that Roger Stone would die behind bars. This blatant action caused the DoJ to step in and ask for a much lighter sentence in line with what they were told. The four Mueller prosecutors “Resigned in protest” over this.

It then came out that one of the jurors, the foreman actually, was blatantly anti-Trump, and was fairly biased against Roger Stone. Her words and actions on social media were so bad, that even Never Trumper judge Andrew Napolitano said that he would have declared a mistrial and ordered a new trial.

Then there is the judge who sat on this case. She is, to no one’s surprise, an Obama judge. She appears to have prevented the defense team from challenging some of the jurors, as well as suppressed Roger Stone’s 1st Amendment rights. Still, the big story was the juror who appears to have come in determined to convict Roger Stone no matter what. Here are some of the details on this mess from Fox News:

Former Memphis City Schools Board President Tomeka Hart revealed Wednesday that she was the foreperson of the jury that convicted former Trump adviser Roger Stone on obstruction charges last year — and soon afterward, her history of Democratic activism and a string of her anti-Trump, left-wing social media posts came to light.

Hart even posted specifically about the Stone case before she was selected to sit on the jury, as she retweeted an argument mocking those who considered Stone’s dramatic arrest in a predawn raid by a federal tactical team to be excessive force. She also suggested President Trump and his supporters are racist and praised the investigation conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, which ultimately led to Stone’s prosecution.

This woman should have been released 2 minutes after she arrived for jury duty. Instead, any challenges regarding her objectivity were apparently suppressed by the judge, speaking of which:

Meanwhile, it emerged that U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson had denied a defense request to strike a potential juror who was Obama-era press official with admitted anti-Trump views — and whose husband worked at the same Justice Department division that handled the probe leading to Stone’s arrest. And, another Stone juror, Seth Cousins, donated to former Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke and other progressive causes, federal election records reviewed by Fox News show.

This whole case is now blowing up in the faces of the Deep State and they know it. While I’m not a lawyer, there appears to my unschooled eye to be more then enough to have the verdict overturned on appeal and at the very least, a new trial held, if not a directed verdict of acquittal. (Again, not a lawyer…Thank God!)

The drama began when Hart confirmed to CNN and other media organizations Wednesday that she had written a Facebook post supporting the Justice Department prosecutors in the Stone case who abruptly stepped down from their posts on Tuesday, saying she “can’t keep quiet any longer.” The prosecutors apparently objected after senior DOJ officials overrode their recommendation to Jackson that Stone face up to 9 years in prison.

“I want to stand up for Aaron Zelinsky, Adam Jed, Michael Marando, and Jonathan Kravis — the prosecutors on the Roger Stone trial,” Hart wrote in the post. “It pains me to see the DOJ now interfere with the hard work of the prosecutors. They acted with the utmost intelligence, integrity, and respect for our system of justice.”

Congratulations dimbulb. In typical Moonbat manner, you just blew up the entire case and put yourself at risk of prosecution for lying under oath. Your statements demonstrate that you had extensive knowledge of the case and supported the conviction of Mr. Stone before the case was heard. I hope they toss your lying Progressive ass into a deep dark cell.

Independent journalist Mike Cernovich, not CNN, then first reported that a slew of Hart’s other publicly available Twitter and Facebook posts readily suggested a strong political bias. Some of Hart’s posts were written as Stone’s trial was in progress.

And there are other grounds for appeal right there. I believe that if you are on a jury, you are not supposed to talk about the case outside of the court room, and even in the court room, you are limited in where and when to talk about it. Hart’s Twitter posts indicate that she is a hard core leftist, hates President Trump and anyone who doesn’t agree with her world view is a racist. It’s looking better and better for Mr. Stone and worse for Ms. Hart.

Most of Hart’s posts were from before she was selected to sit on the Stone jury late 2019. But, on Nov. 15, 2019 — the day she voted to convict Stone on seven counts of obstruction, witness tampering and making false statements to Congress — Hart tweeted two “heart” emojis, followed by two pump-fist emojis.

If Hart have provided misleading answers on her jury form concerning her political or social media activity, her views on Trump and the Russia probe, or other related matters, there could be grounds for Stone’s team to seek a new trial, legal experts told Fox News.

It’s also turned out that the judge in this case has been biased against Roger Stone.

Hart’s posts surfaced the same day that Jackson, who oversaw the Stone case, unsealed her order from earlier this month denying Stone’s request for a new trial.

Stone’s team argued that an unnamed juror had misled the court concerning his or her exposure to the media during the case, and also had some potential bias because of his or her work with the IRS, which sometimes has interfaced with the DOJ on criminal matters.

But, Jackson shot down the motion for a new trial, saying the juror’s potential bias was not demonstrated — and even if it were, it wasn’t significant enough to warrant the drastic step of calling for a new trial.

Since this story first came out, many new bits of information have surfaced. First, Judge Jackson sentenced Roger Stone to 40 months in prison. She isn’t, at this point, even bothering to consider the fairly strong evidence that this was a miscarriage of justice. Of course, you have to also considered who put her on the bench.

This case reeks with Deep State corruption as does the Michael Flynn case. Flynn was blackmailed into pleading guilty and, with the help of a lawyer not working for the prosecution, has withdrawn his plea. In Stone’s case, there is overwhelming evidence of misconduct, and plenty of grounds for an appeal.

President Trump has been watching these cases and has made his opinion loudly known. He doesn’t see these as fairly tried cases. He is still waiting for things to play out, but if the Deep State runs true to form, then it looks like Roger Stone and Michael Flynn are going to be getting pardons if they are not cleared by the corrupt courts.

Now why do people consider these cases to be political? They were brought by the Mueller inquisition, and have nothing to do with the original reason the Mueller inquisition was created. To investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election. Instead, it was used by the Deep State to “Get Trump!” It’s since come out that the “investigators” fully intended to walk President Trump into perjury traps. Since President Trump refused to play their game, they were left with faking up charges against people who worked for President Trump.

You also only have to look at the corruption of the Obama Regime. James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Rod Rosenstein, James Clapper and John Brennan. They lied repeatedly to congress, they lied under oath, they obstructed justice and not one of them is under indictment. This is demonstrating to people that we do have a two-tiered justice system.

There are some new people working in the Trump Administration, and hopefully they will finally start purging Washington of these vermin. (I’ll settle with firing them if I can’t have a nice Stalinist purge) It may have to wait until next year, although there is the John Durham investigation now underway. That could break this summer with some charges being brought against some Deep Staters.

In the end, one of the things that’s going to have to happen is removing most, if not all of the Obama Judges. There are some who actually take their oath and job seriously, but Judge Jackson certainly is NOT one of them. To do this will require either impeachment or being able to prove criminal actions. Hopefully, both Roger Stone and Michael Flynn and others will be able to get fair hearings and be sent home.
