Good day all. It’s beginning to look like the Great Panicdemic of 2020 is starting to wind down. Now the time is coming where we reflect on what was done, what could have have been done better and who really screwed the pooch. We’re also beginning to take a very hard look at China.

When this all started, a number of countries tried to help out by sending the Chinese government needed medical supplies. One of these countries was Italy, which sent several tons of masks and other items. However, once the China Virus hit Italy, they needed all that equipment back. The Chinese government was quite happy to help, for a price. Yes, all that gear the Italians donated from the goodness of their hearts? The Chinese government sold back to the Italians. Here are the scummy details from Fox News:
China’s efforts to rebrand itself as a global leader focused on humanitarian relief amid the coronavirus outbreak has hit a major snag and perhaps revealed Beijing’s true intentions behind their public relations blitz.
After telling the world that it would donate masks, face guards and testing equipment to Italy, China quietly backtracked and sold the Mediterranean country desperately-needed medical equipment, according to a report.
What’s worse is that the personal protective equipment (PPE) China forced Italy to buy was actually the same PPE Italy donated to China before coronavirus rushed its own shores and killed nearly 16,000 people.

“Before the virus hit Europe, Italy sent tons of PPE to China to help China protect its own population. China then has sent Italian PPE back to Italy — some of it, not even all of it … and charged them for it,” a senior Trump administration official told The Spectator.
What a bunch of corrupt morons! The Chinese Government has managed to cover itself in several feet of crap over the whole Wuhan Flu debacle. Considering that prior to all this, President Trump was basically fighting, and winning a trade war with China, this latest dumb move may just get a number of other countries on board.
President Trump is the first president since China opened up to call them on their activities in trade between nations. They don’t like that very much, and there has been a low order trade war between the United States and the People’s Republic of China for several years.
As to testing kits and medical equipment, it’s not just Italy that’s been getting the short end of the stick. Other European countries are finding out just what garbage China is trying to stick them with.
Beijing taking advantage of Italy’s generosity and then flipping it into something more sinister is just the latest example of the country’s misdeeds amid the global outbreak. Thousands of other supplies and testing kits China has sold to other countries at marked-up prices have turned out to be defective.
Spain had to return 50,000 quick-testing kits to China after discovering they weren’t working properly. Last week, the Netherlands also rejected China-made coronavirus testing kits and protective gear, calling them substandard and questioning the quality of supplies Beijing is selling to the world. Turkey, Georgia and the Czech Republic have also spoken out about kits it purchased from China as being less than adequate. In some cases, instead of fixing the issue, China has blamed user error.
Oh good thinking! I wonder where China developed it’s customer service skills, from one of the American cable companies?
The claims of faulty devices come as the number of confirmed coronavirus cases and deaths continue to surge around Europe and the United States, underscoring the dependence many countries have on Chinese imports.
Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion that this is going to change in the next couple of years. One of the major issues we’ve been having was the disruption of the supply chains. People are finally waking up to just how much of the world’s manufacturing has been put into China. I think we’re going to see a lot of that manufacturing being moved back into the United States, or to other countries closer to the United States and on better terms with us, I understand that India might be a big beneficiary.
If China’s customer base decides to walk away from them, it will be very hard for the Chinese government to continue some of the games they’ve been playing for the last 10-20 years. Who knows? The Chinese people might just decide the Mandate of Heaven has been removed from the current leadership. If that happens, then the new Chinese government will be retiring the old Chinese government in the usual manner. By disappearing them.
