Good day all. Representative Adam Schifthead is a liar. Granted, this is a very well known fact. This time, he’s lying about an alleged bit of intelligence that claims that Russia has put a bounty on the lives of American troops in Afghanistan.
The basic story came out a couple of weeks ago in the New York Slimes. They claimed that one of their famous “Anonymous sources” had hard information that Russia was paying the Taliban to kill American soldiers. The problem here is that the so called “Intelligence” was one, unverified allegation. Schifthead and the other traitors claimed that President Trump knew and did nothing about it.
The truth was a bit more complex. The intelligence services did have a single allegation, basically a rumor, that Russia was offering a bounty. However, no one put much stock in it and President Trump was never briefed on it.
The same can’t be said about Adam Schifthead. It looks like he was briefed back in February, and he did nothing with the information. Here are the details from The Federalist:
Top committee staff for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, were briefed in February on intelligence about Russia offering the Taliban bounties in Afghanistan, but he took no action in response to the briefing, multiple intelligence sources familiar with the briefing told The Federalist. The intelligence was briefed to Schiff’s staff during a congressional delegation, or CODEL, trip to Afghanistan in February.
Schiff, who has acknowledged President Donald Trump was never briefed on the so-called intelligence, has thus far refused to disclose that his staff was personally briefed. The revelation raises serious questions that Schiff is once again politicizing, and perhaps even deliberately misrepresenting, key data for partisan gain.
Gee, ya think? Everything Schifthead has ever done has been politically motiviated and designed to improve the standing of Adam Schifthead. Ha also hates President Trump, but even he couldn’t get away for to long lying that President Trump knew about this.
Asked by a reporter Tuesday if he had any knowledge of the Russia story prior to the New York Times report, Schiff said “I can’t comment on specifics.”
He can’t comment because anything he says will just cause the hole he finds himself in getting deeper and deeper. The hole he now finds himself in…again, is his trying to accuse President Trump of working for the Russians.
Schiff’s recent complaints that Trump took no action against Russia in response to rumors of Russian bounties are curious given that Schiff himself took no action after his top staff were briefed by intelligence officials.
Yeah, funny that.
As chairman of the intelligence committee, Schiff had the authority to immediately brief the full committee and convene hearings on the matter. Schiff, however, did nothing. He did not brief his committee on the matter, nor did he brief the gang of 8, which consists of top congressional leadership in both chambers.
This begs the question, why didn’t Schifthead notify others? Could it be that he knew that the allegations were a load of horse manure? Or is it due to Adam Schifthead, not president Trump, who is actually working for the Russians?
Schiff is demanding that the Trump administration brief all of Congress about the unverified allegations, yet he himself did not ask for a briefing of the Intelligence Committee following the February briefing of his own staff.
Needless to say, when the Federalist tried to get a response from the lying scumbag, his office wouldn’t comment.
Patrick Boland, a spokesman for Schiff on the intelligence committee, did not respond to a request for comment on Schiff’s inaction and declined to say why Schiff withheld the information from Congress for months. Boland also did not explain why travel records regarding the Congressional staff delegation trip to Afghanistan had not yet been disclosed in the Congressional Record as required by law.
Because Adam Schifthead, like all Democrats in office, is a lying pile of crap and doens’t think that the rules apply to him? The Federalist article goes on to list all the lies Schifthead has told since the beginning of the year, and there is a long list of them. The sad part is, we can’t prosecute Schifthead for his lies or can President Trump and Schifthead’s other victims sue him in civil court. All we can do is hope that Schifthead’s opponent in November, (Yes, he does have one), and get through the thick heads in the district and send Schifthead to a well deserved trip into obscurity.
