Good day all. Recently the Minneapolis City Council voted to abolish the city police department. They are not replacing it with anything even remotely grounded in reality, which, considering they’re all moonbats, isn’t at all surprising.
This is leaving the nitwits who voted for these bozos in a bit of a lurch. Once the police department is closed down, the citizens of Minneapolis are on their own. As for the City Council? Well since they’’re very important people who a so special, they are getting some security. They’ve hired, at taxpayer expense, a private security company to guard their worthless bodies. Here are the details from Fox 9:
The City of Minneapolis is spending $4,500 a day for private security for three council members who have received threats following the police killing of George Floyd, FOX 9 has learned. A city spokesperson said the private security details have cost taxpayers $63,000 over the past three weeks.
The three council members who have the security detail – Andrea Jenkins (Ward 8), and Phillipe Cunningham (Ward 4), and Alondra Cano (Ward 9)– have been outspoken proponents of defunding the Minneapolis Police Department.
As you might expect, these worthies really don’t want to talk the special security details and protection they are so happy to take away from the average people.
Councilmember Phillipe Cunningham declined to discuss the security measures.
“I don’t feel comfortable publicly discussing the death threats against me or the level of security I currently have protecting me from those threats,” said Cunningham in a text message.
Probably due to not wanting to be tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail.
Cunningham added that the security is temporary.

Councilmember Andrea Jenkins said she has been asking for security since she was sworn in. She said current threats have come in the form of emails, letters, and posts to social media.
“My concern is the large number of white nationalist(s) in our city and other threatening communications I’ve been receiving,” wrote Jenkins in an email.
That is the standard response from the ever so caring Progressive Liberal Democrat. White Nationalists made me do it. Of course, anyone who doesn’t to the Progressive line is considered a “White Nationalist, no matter what their skin color is.
Minneapolis mayors have traditionally had a security detail provided by a Minneapolis Police officer who also functions as the mayor’s driver. The thirteen council members are not given the same protection.
Probably do to not actually deserving it. Of course, these dimbulbs were asked “Why not have the police provide the details?
A city spokesperson said MPD resources are needed in the community. The hourly cost of private security is similar to the cost for a police officer, the spokesperson added.
First, the cost of a good private security detail is not cheap. Second, and the real reason for the private detail is simple. Why would the police want to put their lives on the line protecting these jerks? If a threat were to actually appear, they might just decide to step aside.
A spokesperson for Minneapolis Police told FOX 9 the department does not have any recent police reports of threats against city council members. It is possible a report could have been filed confidentially.
Or there never were any actual threats to begin with.
Jenkins said she has not reported the threats to Minneapolis Police because she has been preoccupied with the dual crisis of the “global pandemic and global uprising” over the killing of George Floyd.
The real reason is these precious little snowflakes think they are just that, special. They believe that the world revolves around them and all those dirty little people should not be permitted to come anywhere near them. Well I hate to break it to these Communists, but the people aren’t to happy with their erstwhile leaders acting like typical Turd World Potentates. I suspect that these losers are going to find themselves out on their progressive behinds in short order. If the people of Minneapolis don’t boot them out, then they deserve everything that’s going to happen to them.
