Good day all. As the election season kicks off, we have two candidates. The first one is President Donald J. Trump. The second is a former Vice President who has been having serious issues remembering what day of the week it is, Joe Biden.
Thanks to the China Virus, Biden has been hidden away to minimize the obvious issue, that he is not mentally competent to hold the office of the President of the United States. President Trump, on the other hand, is getting out into the public arena as much as he possibly can, under the circumstances.
Now people are looking to the political debates between the two candidates, at least those who support President Trump are. The people trying to drag Biden’s senile body across the finish line are now trying to pull away from doing any debates. They know that President Trump will hand Biden his head. Here is an editorial, (and excuses), by Karen Tumalty from the Washington Compost:
Given how many ugly turns this presidential election year has already taken and how many more are surely yet to come, it is probably a fool’s errand to go in search of silver linings in 2020.
Oh there are plenty of silver linings. Oh, wait. You mean for the Progressive Liberal Democrat CommuNazis, don’t you?
But the realities of campaigning amid a pandemic are forcing adjustments to the rituals of politics — some of which are for the better and long overdue.
Such as?
I’ve written before about how the quadrennial party conventions have outlived their purpose. There is no suspense any more to these pointless, lobbyist-funded infomercials, and television audiences find them boring.
Surprisingly, I sort of agree with the old Moonbat on this. However, I suspect the reason she wants to shut them down is more along the lines of what will probably happen with the Democrat Convention. We will see the Marxist lunatics formally take over the asylum and put together a campaign that Stalin and Mao might consider a bit to radical. Apparently, the Democrats have decided to cut back their convention, using the Kung Flu as an excuse. So what else does Tumalty want to do away with?
Next up: It’s time to do some rethinking about the debates.
Why?
Trump is claiming he would like to have four faceoffs with Biden, rather than the three (plus one vice presidential debate), that are currently scheduled to take place between Sept. 29 and Oct. 22.
That sounds like a good idea to me. More debates means more opportunities to see how the candidates perform under stress as well as see what they have in mind for America.
This is not a serious proposal. Even under the best of circumstances, scheduling these much-watched events on the busy fall calendar is a difficult challenge for the Commission on Presidential Debates, which has been in charge of the process since the 1988 election.
It has to find dates that are not on Friday or Saturday nights, do not conflict with sports and other events networks are committed to, or official presidential business, such as attending the U.N. General Assembly in September. Each debate generally requires the candidates to suspend public appearances for at least a few days to prepare.
Well, your candidate, the corrupt and senile Joe Biden has already suspended public appearances, much to the relief of the DNC and his handlers. President Trump wouldn’t have suggested four debates if he wasn’t’ prepared to do them, and as to finding network time to broadcast them? Please! The way the professional sports teams have been dealing with the Marxists, Communists, Antifa and the Black Lives, (But no one else’s), Lives Matter thugs, I suspect they’re going to find the fans not showing up or tuning in.
Finding venues is a challenge, as well, particularly this year. The University of Michigan, which was originally supposed to host the second debate on Oct. 15, backed out earlier this week. University president Mark Schlissel said that with the challenge of trying to reopen the campus safely amid the covid-19 pandemic, it is “not feasible for us to safely host the presidential debate as planned.” It has been moved to Miami.
Actually, they can find one very easily. It doesn’t have to have an audience. It could be done in a plain old fashioned television studio if needed. Besides, the whole Kung Flu Panicdemic is falling apart due to the lies and fraud perpetrated by the MSM, Deep State and others.
Cutting back or eliminating the live audience would also make it more difficult for candidates to pull stunts like Trump did in 2016, when he brought four women who had accused Bill Clinton of sexual abuse to a debate in St. Louis and attempted to seat them in his family’s box.
Still pinning your hopes that Felonia von Pantsuit, the absolute winner of the worlds worst candidate contest might be “drafted” to run again? Trump crushed her because Felonia, besides being a horrible candidate, is as crooked as the day is long. They can still charge her with some of the crimes she committed and now she is being forced to testify in a civil case. Get over it, she lost.
Tumalty goes on to talk about the poll numbers, as if they are actually accurate. We know how accurate they were in 2016. Many people flat out don’t believe them. No, the real reason you don’t want any debates between President Trump and Corrupt Joe Biden is that Biden is not mentally fit. He will show himself as seriously challenged and people will wonder if he has what it takes to handle the Nuclear Football if needed.
There will also be President Trump happily using Biden’s own words, when they make sense and aren’t a jumble of shredded word lettuce, against him. Things like Biden’s promise to raise taxes by $4 TRILLION dollars and re-institute all the failed Obama policies, not to mention handing the United States economy over the the government of the People’s Republic of China and the United Nations. This is the real reason you don’t want any debates. You are trying to hide Biden from the voters in the hopes they are stupid enough to elect him. Why don’t you just admit it?
