DoJ calls Yale University Racist

Good day all. These days, we see the Progressive Liberal Elites calling anyone that questions them racists and white supremacists. If you voted for President Trump, or support him, guess what? You are a white supremacist, Neo-Nazi and Racist. Oh, if you aren’t white? Doesn’t matter, you’re a racist.

What this actually is, is something called “Projection.” The Progressive Liberal Elites project what they actually do on to those who they don’t like, while denying that they are the ones who can’t get past skin color. This has also had an effect on college admissions to some of the most prestigious, (Allegedly), colleges and universities in America.

When someone applies to a school such as Harvard, UCLA, MIT or Yale, you would expect them to consider grades to be the leading indicator of who should be admitted, Sadly, this isn’t the case. In general, Asians tend to be the top performers academically, followed by Caucasians. Since other groups don’t do as well, (Mostly due to the crappy schools they have to attend and, sadly, some really bad traditions that don’t consider education to be a positive), the “Elite” schools will dock people if they are Asian or Caucasian.

This is not legal, and violates the civil rights of those affected. We are supposed to be color blind when admitting people to these schools, but they are all run by Progressive Liberal racists. They think that people of recent African descent or from Central and South America are inferior to Asians and Caucasians, so they must be “Helped.”

There have been any number of cases brought by individuals who have been discriminated against by the Progressive Liberal Elites. Sometimes they win, but places like Yale, who think they are better then the law, ignore them. Well, this time Yale is about to get a virtual 2×4 to the forehead, courtesy of the Department of Justice. Here are the details from Fox News:

Yale University illegally discriminates against Asian American and White applicants during the admissions process, the Department of Justice said Thursday following an investigation. The DOJ informed Yale in a letter from Civil Rights Division official Eric Drieband that it reached the conclusion after a two-year investigation triggered by a complaint from Asian American groups.

“Yale grants substantial, and often determinative, preferences based on race to certain racially-favored applicants and relatively and significantly disfavors other applicants because of their race,” said Drieband in the letter. “Yale’s race discrimination imposes undue and unlawful penalties on racially-disfavored applicants, including in particular Asian American and White applicants.”

Yale, like almost all colleges and universities, receives some federal money. Because of this, they have to agree to abide by the various laws against discrimination.

As a condition of “receiving millions of dollars in taxpayer funding,” the letter said the Ivy League university must agree to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin in programs and activities receiving financial assistance from the federal government.

Yale, of course, denies that they are a racist institution and promises full cooperation in the investigation.

The university responded that it “cooperated fully with the DOJ’s investigation” and produced “substantial” information for it, but that it has not finished compiling all the data.

Another way of saying this would be “Damn it! We got caught, Quick, fire up the shredders!”

“We are dismayed that the DOJ has made its determination before allowing Yale to provide all the information the Department has requested thus far. Had the Department fully received and fairly weighed this information, it would have concluded that Yale’s practices absolutely comply with decades of Supreme Court precedent,” said Karen N. Peart, a spokeswoman for Yale, in a statement.

The DOJ also claims that race is the determinative factor in hundreds of admissions decisions each year.

“The likelihood of admission for Asian American and White applicants who have similar academic credentials is significantly lower than for African American and Hispanic applicants to Yale College. For the great majority of applicants, Asian American and White applicants have only one-tenth to one-fourth of the likelihood of admission as African American applicants with comparable academic credentials.”

At least they’re keeping up the academic standards. Of course, there is the possibility that a lot of these applicants were just pushed along in high school, winning lots of participation trophies. Honestly, the only way to know how well these people do is see how many actually finish school and graduate from Yale. It’s not uncommon for students to be admitted because of their skin color to these racist universities, only to fail out because they can’t keep up with the academic requirements.

Yale has discriminated for decades, according to the DOJ, and it appears the university “intends to continue discriminating on the basis of race, apparently in perpetuity. Indeed, Yale admits that it intends to continue its race-based admissions process for the “foreseeable future.”

But the statement from the school said that the university looks “at the whole person when selecting whom to admit among the many thousands of highly qualified applicants.”

“We take into consideration a multitude of factors, including their academic achievement, interests, demonstrated leadership, background, success in taking maximum advantage of their secondary school and community resources, and the likelihood that they will contribute to the Yale community and the world.”

The DOJ is demanding Yale agree not to use race or national origin in the upcoming 2020-21 undergraduate admissions cycle, or submit a plan to the Justice Department demonstrating a proposal, “narrowly tailored as required by law… Any such proposal should include an end date to Yale’s use of race. ”

An end date? How about tomorrow? How does that work? Here is what I suspect Yale is going to try an pull. They’re going to come up with some convoluted scheme to make it look like they aren’t discriminating, and yet you won’t see any significant changes in who gets admitted.

If they, and all the other racist universities, were actually serious on ending race and sex based admissions, they would simply remove any indications of skin color, national origin or sex from the admissions forms. It would be only academics and possibly a few other things. (Although the also look for things like joining Antifa, Black Lives, (And no one else’s), Matter and every other progressive group and organization out there.

No, the only way to stop these universities from pulling this crap is to hit them right where it hurts, in the endowments. Take them to court and sue their progressive pants off, and then basically put the whole mess into some sort of receivership. Making an example out of Yale, up to and including the dissolution of the entire school with the sale of it’s assets would do wonders with getting the other schools to clean up their acts. Sadly, it won’t happen.
