Good day all. There is a syndrome that first made an appearance during the George W. Bush presidency. It came to be known as “Bush Derangement Syndrome.” The primary symptom of the syndrome was an insane, unreasoning hatred of anything associated with President Bush. So many people were afflicted with it, that the name was contracted to “BDS.”
When he left office, a new variant called OBS, for Obama Derangement Syndrome made an appearance. However, there were far fewer sufferers then there were of BDS. During the 2016 election, the first indications of a new syndrome started appearing, and came to be known as Trump Derangement Syndrome. Since Donald Trump won the election, TDS has reached epidemic proportions. Interestingly, it appears that those most susceptible to both BDS and TDS tend to be known as “Progressives, Liberals and Democrats.” There are also other sufferers who are also known as RINO’s.
Recently, former New York Slimes propagandist, Kurt Eichenwald showed indications that he is suffering from late stage, possible terminal Trump Derangement Syndrome. The First Lady, Melania Trump, one of my favorite imports from Slovenia, showed off her renovation of the White House Rose Garden. This triggered Eichenwald’s extreme case TDS and he virtually assaulted the First Lady on Twitter for her work. Here are the details from Fox News:
Former New York Times reporter Kurt Eichenwald slammed first lady Melania Trump for renovating the White House Rose Garden saying on Saturday that he is “furious” she is “a foreigner,” sparking pushback from other journalists.
“It is a destruction of our history, something no other First Lady would have had the gall to do,” Eichenwald, a New York Times bestselling author, tweeted on Saturday, “This is the first time I have been furious that @FLOTUS is a foreigner. She has no right to wreck our history.”
First things first. The First Lady is an American Citizen. She followed the immigration laws and became naturalized in 2006. She also has an immense amount of taste and style, and has used this to great effect during her time in the White House. (Unlike the previous First Lady who’s level of taste could be best identified as “Early American Trailer Trash)
There are several images in the Fox story showing the newly renovated Rose Garden. About my only criticism would be the sod. It looks like they used pre-grown squares instead of seeding a new lawn. This was probably done due to a deadline. I’m sure the White house groundskeepers will have that looking shipshape in no time. However, Eichenwald is suffering from TDS, and one of the known symptoms is to spew blind hatred all over socialist media, in this case, Twitter.
Eichenwald, who spent two decades as a senior writer at The New York Times, also tweeted on Saturday, “I still find it unbelievable that @FLOTUS who has only been a citizen since the middle of GW Bush’s second term had the audacity to wreck the Rose Garden, to pull up history dating back a lifetime.”
“These trashy, evil, stupid people need to get out of our house,” he continued. “What GALL she has.”
Unexpectedly, Eichenwald’s bigoted assault on on the First Lady backfired badly. As expected, reporters who actually try and be reporters and not propagandists, (There are a couple out there), blasted this jerk. What WAS unexpected was the “Progressive Liberal Propagandists, (Journalists as they like to refer to themselves), also blasting this loser.
Mehdi Hasan, a journalist who is a senior columnist at online news publication The Intercept and host on the Al Jazeera network, reacted to that tweet writing, “This is a horrible anti-immigrant take, Kurt, and you should delete it and apologize.”
CNN Anchor Jake Tapper agreed with Hasan writing in a tweet, “This is xenophobic and wrong. It’s bigotry.”
Jake Tapper? He has his own case of TDS. If even he thinks Eichenwald crossed the line, than you would think that walking turd would pull back. You would be incorrect in that thinking.
Eichenwald added in another tweet responding to some of the criticism that, “Someone who has only been a citizen for less than 1/3 of her life should be reverent to America’s history, should honor our history, not decide her personal taste should rip it up.”
Eventually, and after repeated virtual blows to the head, Eichenwald finally realized he had gone to far and pulled down his tweets. However, as we all know, what is on the internet, stays on the internet. This jerk used to be a “Journalist” with the New York Slimes. He left in 2006 and has been floating around, and is currently associated with Vanity Fair and Newsweek.
Now I have to wonder, do these organizations want to have someone this bigoted and hateful associated with them? Granted, they’re all part of the Progressive liberal Democratic CommuNazi Department of Propaganda, but even that group has some standards. (Very low standards, but they do have them) Perhaps it’s time for the Progressive left to make another token sacrifice and toss Kurt Eichenwald into the nearest virtual dumpster and declare him “Persona non grata” in Progressiveland. Somehow, I doubt they will. They’re already pushing this story into the memory hole.
