Good day all. As people come to the conclusion that the lock-down ordered by the nations governors was both a waste of time and an economic disaster, (Not to mention a massive violation of civil rights), they are beginning to demand a return to normalcy.
The problem with this is the political class, especially the governors and mayors of the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazi Party. They don’t have any intention of giving up the powers they’ve seized. This has led to lawsuits across the country, and now the restaurants in New York City have added their own to the list. Here are the details from Just the News:
A class-action lawsuit filed in New York City is seeking $2 billion in damages against Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio over the indoor dining ban that still persists in the city even as the rest of the state has been allowed to resume the practice.
The lawsuit, filed late last month in the state Supreme Court on behalf of several hundred restaurants, argues that Cuomo and de Blasio have enforced “catastrophic” policies against New York City restaurants, continuing a ban on indoor dining there while restaurants throughout New York state have been allowed to re-open their dining rooms.
Well there is this thing call “Equal Protection under the law,” something that most Progressive ignore. (See Nancy Pelosi and Salongate)
It further claims that Cuomo over the past several months has “issued stricter and confusing executive orders” even as the virus remained under control in the city and the state.
This is due to Flaming Cuomo not have a clue how to handle anything other then collecting graft and ignoring the Constitutions of both the State of New York and the United States of America. Put him under stress and he folds like a cheap suit.

The suit argues that the executive orders have deprived the defendants of their rights without due process, and that Cuomo and de Blasio “have unilaterally suspended civil liberties and announced that this state of affairs will continue even over the Legislature’s objection.”
“The Governor nor the Mayor have not disclosed and/or disclosed only a minimal amount of the data or methodology used to create the modeling that purportedly justifies this extreme action,” the suit argues.
The defendants seek “just compensation in the amount of $2,000,000,0000” as well as “a preliminary injunction enjoining the enforcement and further enforcement of the executive orders.”
As to how this happened, it’s really very simple. Flaming Cuomo has admitted that he doesn’t have any plan on reopening the restaurants in New York City. In a story in Fox Business Flaming Cuomo admitted to not having any plans on how and when to reopen them.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he does not have a plan to allow New York City restaurants to reopen indoor dining, blaming difficulties with enforcing coronavirus restrictions during a conference call on Thursday. New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson released a statement on Wednesday declaring “it’s time” for New York City to ease back into indoor dining, citing neighboring New Jersey’s decision to do so.
The reasons for reopening the restaurants for indoor dining is rather simple. Winter is coming and it’s going to get damn cold out. People won’t be eating outside.
After months of surviving with outdoor dining and takeout and delivery, city restaurant owners say the coming colder weather could be fatal for their businesses. While owners have tended to blame Mayor Bill de Blasio for lacking a plan to reopen dining rooms, Cuomo said any decision would need to be made by the state government.
“That’s not a decision that’s going to be made by New York City,” Cuomo said on Thursday. “They have no legal authority to make that decision. The state will make that decision, I happen to agree with the speaker. I’d like to see the restaurants open.”

If there is anyone more useless then Flaming Cuomo, it’s Dim bulb de Blasio. He is considered the worst mayor in the nation. Under his maladministration, New York City went from a place people wanted to go to and work in to a city they are fleeing in droves. If he would actually do his job, something he is oath to do, the restaurants would already be opened for business. (Also open for looting and burning by the BLM and Antifa terrorists Dim bulb de Blasio supports)
Regarding the lawsuit, I would like to know where that $2 billion is going to come from. The taxpayers of New York? They are actually one of the aggrieved parties in my opinion. How about taking it out of the hides of Dim Bulb de Blasio and Flaming Cuomo? Utterly impoverishing them would really serve justice, and honestly, Flaming Cuomo won’t need money once he’s serving life without parole plus 5 million years for the mass murders of the thousands of elderly people in nursing homes. Hopefully, the second term of President Trump will see a large number of prosecutions of corrupt governors and mayors, starting with Cuomo and de Blasio.
Postscript
Just before I posted this, I saw a video regarding the recent ruling by a Federal Judge against the actions taken by Pennsylvania’s governor, Tom Wolf. The short version, the judge hammered Wolf and his administration for their actions, ruling that his orders were unconstitutional. the long version? Watch this video. It’s explains it very nicely for the non-lawyers among us.
