Good day all. We’ve been watching how Unions have slowly become irrelevant to working Americans. Not just irrelevant, but an actual threat to their jobs. This is why most private sector unions are slowly dying.
Public sector unions, on the other hand, are now becoming an actual threat to the nation. These thugs are now threatening a “General Strike” if their demands are not met. The demands? Basically they are on the defund the police bandwagon and are actively aiding the Black Lives, (And no one else’s), Matter terrorists. Here are the details from Fox News:
Unions representing millions of workers, from teachers to truck drivers, pledged to ramp up protests in the leadup to the presidential election, with walkouts aimed at forcing local and federal lawmakers to pass police reform and address what they described as systemic racism.
The only “Systemic Racism” out there is on the Left and in Unions. In fact, Unions are some of the most Racist organizations outside f the KKK out there. As for Police Reform, a few things. First, a lot of cops are also union members. Those unions are actually pulling away from the big unions and are endorsing President Trump. The trucking unions? I wonder if the leadership has actually bothered to poll their members. I suspect not since the drivers rely on the police to keep the very thugs their “Leadership” is backing from hijacking their loads and probably murdering them.
We’re already seeing trucking companies, some of them unionized, saying they will not put their drivers at risk by sending them into areas that have no police presence. In other words, the “Evil owners” are more concerned for the welfare of their employees then the unions allegedly representing them.
In a statement first shared with The Associated Press on Saturday, labor leaders from America’s biggest public and private sector unions said they would organize walkouts for teachers, autoworkers, truck drivers and clerical staff, among others.
Well, the public sector workers can go find other jobs. I somehow doubt the private sector workers will follow the orders of the leadership and go out on strike for basically nothing that benefits them. If these idiots do call a strike, especially before the election, it’s not going to win them any sympathy from people who are out of work due to the lock-downs initiated by the mayors and governors over the Great Panicdemic of 2020.
“The status quo — of police killing Black people, of armed white nationalists killing demonstrators, of millions sick and increasingly desperate — is clearly unjust, and it cannot continue,” says the statement from several branches of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, the Service Employees International Union, and affiliates of the National Education Association.
Ahh yes, the SEIU, also known as the “Purple People Beaters” for their penchant of beating anyone who opposes them, including people in wheel chairs. (This was back in the early days of the TEA Party protests when SEIU thugs in purple shirts would assault TEA party protesters. It finally ended when the Tea party protester starts showing up with rifles and making it known they would shoot if they had to)
AFSCME, SEIU, and NEA include liberal membership that typically votes Democrat by margins as high as 80%.
Actually, they are the Democrat Party’s biggest slush fund. They exist primarily to buy elections for the Democrats. They certainly do not exist to aid their membership. This is why you see Union locals in states where they ended mandatory union membership to have a job collapse. They rank and file members can’t get to the exits fast enough.
The latest development comes after a summer of protest nationwide from youths to athletes. Some of the protests have turned violent, with rioting and looting in several cities.
Some protests have turned violent? Try most of them, at least in the Democrat controlled “Blue” cities and states.
“They remind us that when we strike to withhold our labor, we have the power to bring an unjust status quo to a grinding halt,” the union leaders said in the statement.
Oh that’s really rich. They honestly think they have that kind of power? Maybe, a hundred years ago. Today? They might get the government workers to go out, but the private sector workers will tell their leadership to go pound sand, then vote them out or even decertify their union.
“We echo the call to local and federal government to divest from the police, to redistribute the stolen wealth of the billionaire class, and to invest in what our people need to live in peace, dignity, and abundance: universal health care and housing, public jobs programs and cash assistance, and safe working conditions,” the statement reads.
Well, I see that they’ve brought out their Communist Manifesto after a long hiatus. Here’s the thing these losers aren’t considering. First, PATCO. There were the last big government union to try a stunt like this. That union no longer exists. The second problem are the teachers.
Parents have been forced to stay home with their little darlings who haven’t been able to go to school. The children have been attending “Remote classrooms” using a variety of communications systems such as Microsoft Zoom. This has meant that parents, who tend to be rather oblivious into the instruction their children are receiving, are now seeing first hand just how bad it actually is.
Not only that, but several “Teachers,” looking over the shoulders of their students, who are probably in their own rooms, are seeing things like toy guns and posters that they deem “Not Politically Correct” and have called the police. If they go out on strike, many parents are going to say “Good Bye and Good Riddance to you.” and then will hire the good teachers to come in and tutor their children and probably a few others from the neighborhood.
Companies are faced with a “Which side are you on?” moment due to growing support for the BLM movement, said Maurice Mitchell, national director of the Working Families Party and a leading organizer in the Movement for Black Lives, a national coalition of 150 Black-led organizations.
“If I was a decision-maker that was considering whether or not to meet the demands of the unions, I would be scared,” Mitchell said. “This movement is spreading. We’ve been on the streets consistently, we’re building on the electoral front, and now we’re seeing this conversation at the highest levels of labor.”
Oh the level of delusion with this clown is staggering. Most of those businesses are not unionized, so their workers won’t walk out. If they do, they lose their jobs and they won’t get any unemployment benefits. There is also the issue that the “Defund the police” movement does not have popular support. In other words, while they agree that some changes need to be made, especially in training, they want to maintain the numbers and perhaps increase them, not gut them.
I recently saw a video of a police officer trying to subdue a criminal, without blowing his head off, and the criminal got the upper hand. Instead of cheering on the criminal, a number of citizens jumped the criminal, pulled him off the police officer and proceeded to stomp the living daylights out of him. Oh, most of the people aiding that police officer? They happened to be of recent African descent. (One of the ladies giving aide to the officer also had fantastic legs)
Second, those idiot CEO’s who have been backing the BLM and Antifa groups are praying that President Trump loses. The Department of Justice is starting to follow the money, and without a doubt, they are going to start making arrests, and the charges are going to be very serious. How serious? Everything up to the death penalty, and I’m not to sure that won’t apply in a few cases.
If the Unions do go on strike, I fully expect it to fail miserably. In fact, it may be so bad a failure that some of these unions might just collapse. If that happens, the people that will be most hurt won’t be the rank and file members, it will be the Democrat Party as they see their undocumented slush funds go bye bye.
